This place was top notch! Time stood still in 1964 and it was beautiful ! Just quaint enough r for our family! The pool was great the small playground was perfect for my 10&7 yr old. We never mentioned the length of our travel trailer and it turned out they normally don't accept them but when we pulled in the guy was super accommodating! It was a lovely stay. Food within walking distance and Chinese delivers lol. Would stay again. Oh and they welcomed our dog!

My partner and I booked a cottage at Pride having only seen pictures online. When we pulled into the lot, we were floored by how beautiful the property was. During our week's stay, the staff was very friendly, the grounds were well kept, our cottage was clean and updated, and we were able to enjoy a quaint setting just off a main road close to Portland and Old Orchard Beach. Pride is not a five-star hotel, but for a family-run, quiet and relaxing place, Pride is excellent. We will definitely recommend to all our friends and family, and plan on coming back next year!

While the accommodations are first rate, the staff is even better. Everyone is cheerful and ready to assist in any way possible. Sam and Eva get special recognition for their tireless efforts in suggesting restaurants and activities in the area. The wife and I can get pretty demanding when it comes to restaurants and they made it their mission to not let us down. Mission accomplished!! After three glorious days at the Inn, we leave with some trepidation. How can the accommodations for the rest of our trip measure up to this?? On hind-site, we probably should have made Inn by the Sea our last stop instead of our first. Oh well, you live and learn.

I had eggs benedict and it exceeded expectations both in presentation and taste. My wife had the largest fruit salad I have ever seen served and chock full of fresh fruit. So full we took half with us. Warm blueberry muffins with blueberry butter are always delicious. It is a Maine tradition. The 2 year old enjoyed a pancake. The service is always attentive and the dining room is always warm and inviting with it's view over the grounds to the ocean.

The edge of the shower curtain showed very visible dirt and grime (you can throw these in the washer with bleach, so no excuse), the bottom wrack for where towels go had dirt on it as if someone put their street shoes there, the drain plug in the tub did not work so I had to reach in and pull it up to drain the water and I could feel the springs in the mattress. I tried not to think about what the mattress under the cover probably looked like. Just over all GROSS and I will not stay there again. $273 for all this!!! The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because of location. They refused to give me a receipt when I checked in or out, so I'm watching my bank charges, carefully. And no, I didn't dare eat breakfast there for fear of food poisoning but that was a choice I made.

Plenty of parking spaces even with an attached trailer. Room smelled fresh and clean, bed/pillows were super comfy and bathroom was in excellent shape. Room came equipped with microwave, and refrigerator. There are a washer and dryer are on the first floor premises. Room was spacious and the breakfast included was great. They have a small gym and pool conveniently located on the first floor. We definitely recommend and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The view overlooks a beautiful sandy beach and the ocean, an inner bay, and faces west so you can watch the sunset...very rare to see the sunset over the ocean in Maine. We tried the Brussels Sprouts with maple and bacon, and the fried chicken sandwich with Brussels sprout slaw, and the BPI salad with has candied pistachios, yellow and red beets, and goat cheese. All the food was very good, made with care. One of our favorites is the chips and dip appetizer...home made very crispy potato chips and homemade onion dip. Delicious! It arrived with shards of ice and watered down gin. Clearly sat in the shaker far too long. I ordered Tito's with a splash, and I literally emphasized splash, of soda and a splash of cranberry. I received a tall glass with half cranberry juice and half soda water. Not a hint of Tito's. The sweet waitress knew it was not going to fly before she even set it down. So, back it went. What appeared in its place was a shot of Tito's in a short glass of soda with a 1/4 glass of cranberry juice on the side. At this point we had to pity the poor waitress. Our dinner entrees arrived. I ordered Shrimp and Crab in a Tarragon sauce over pasta. The minute she set it down I knew it was going to be a disaster. Honestly I wanted to jump out of my seat, throw on an apron, and teach this "Chef" how to cook. It looked like a few tiny little frozen shrimp swimming in dirty water with a few little pieces of crab here and there. It was topped with a bread crumb mixture that you could chip a tooth on. Or maybe it was actually gravel? In fairness, I took a bite thinking maybe I was being fussy. I was not. It went back to the kitchen. This entree by the way was just shy of $50.00. We weren't charged for it but that's not the point. My husband ordered the Salmon. The presentation was just hard to describe. Heirloom chunks of tomato with yesterday's breakfast potatoes and who knows what else behind a square piece of salmon. This took up half of the white plate. The other half had a green gooey glow in the dark green slime swooshed across it! The entire plate looked like a dinner that might be served on an alien spaceship. My husband did eat his dinner and said the salmon was actually ok. I did have the option of ordering another meal and thought I'd be safe with a bowl of Tomato Bisque. They were on the right track with this until they added far too much salt. Again, two spoonfuls and I was done. The very lovely gentleman overseeing the service offered desserts on the house, as he knew it was a birthday celebration. We felt safe with our choices. Do yourself a favor and just step away. If you love a great waitstaff, they've got that going for them! FIVE STARS GO TO THE WAITSTAFF!

We were literally on the beach. The house was built in the 1890s and it is beautiful! It does have updates to it since then but you don't lose a bit of the charm. We stayed in the old inn keepers room on the main floor, and it had its own bathroom. Our room had a window AC unit and it's own mini fridge as well as a ceiling fan. I do think it needs more outlets but we just used one in the bathroom. They provide you with bath towels, fresh beach towels everyday, washcloths, face towels and bath mats. Resa is the manager their and was absolutely wonderful. She cooked delicious breakfasts and is available if you need anything. One day we had avocado toast, scrambled eggs, fresh baked blueberry buckle, blueberry corn muffins, and chocolate oatmeal protein cookies. Various breads, bagels, and English muffins are available as well as butter, peanut butter, and jelly. There is always coffee, tea, and water and ice on hand. In addition to breakfast the house has a whole closet FULL of board games and activities to play if you find yourself inside for an afternoon storm. There is plenty of common areas to hang out and do a puzzle or play a game. The house also has plenty of beach items for you to use including beach chairs, umbrellas, footballs, volleyballs, sand toys, bikes, helmets, and various other things. You do need to park on the street, but there was ample parking and you don't really have to move your car that often because there is so much within walking distance. Overall I couldn't speak highly enough about our stay. Consider us new regulars.

So glad we did! We stayed in room #12 with a king size bed with plenty of cozy layers to keep us warm during the chilly early September nights. The whole house was beautifully clean, warm and welcoming. It's literally a stones throw from the beach and where we all sit once we are there, so we got out of walking the mile back to the other house our friends rent. Also, the breakfast served in the morning was delicious! Homemade bread, mini egg and ham burritos and plenty of coffee, tea and OJ. I was in heaven! Not to mention, the sub shop is across the street, so anything you need is within arms reach. We will most definitely be back again next year! Even though our room had a great view of the beach, we might try for a different room just to see what they're all like. Very happy with our stay! Resa, who was the lady in charge when we were there, is super nice!

The hotel is gorgeous. You walk in and think this is the luxury I've been looking for all my life. Brianna was amazing, welcomed us in with prosecco, Saratoga sparkling water, and a smile showing that she was excited to see us and super kind! Quick check-in, perfect parking, and then went up to the room, which was gorgeous, all of the elements in the room, as well as the lobby gave great wow factor and intentional decor decision-making. Stellar, exactly what you want to see when you're on vacation! There is a cute bar in the lobby, we never went downstairs to the restaurant, but that also looked very nice, and the Spinning Jenny breakfast/coffee shop was absolutely outstanding. Highly recommend! Now, for the quick deductions, they were minimal in nature, the TV only had some live channels from spectrum, in 2026, I would expect streaming options, but there were none. Nor could you even connect your own streaming. Second, late checkout was an additional $75. Again for a luxury hotel, in which you're already paying a premium, it simply did not make sense to me. Third, the bed was oddly misshapen, and created a pile up on one side because of a weight disparity, which was pretty uncomfortable. Le Labo, as a toiletry option is sensational, and we loved it, however, the minis that were expected to provide shampoo, conditioner, and body gel for everyone in the room did not feel enough, and it feels a little uncomfortable to ask for more, so perhaps the larger refillable containers in the bathroom in the room may eliminate that issue. Lastly, and it was minimal interaction so maybe not the biggest deal, but the woman who checked us out today, (she had a British accent), just felt marginally kind. Everyone else went above and beyond, from the bartender to the coffee shop man to Brianna, and I think Laura(Trisha??) may have been the second girls's name, regardless, all of them were extremely invested in our happiness, the British woman this morning not so much. Highly recommend this place, we will be back!

There were only two other people in the lounge at the time. I was told that no where's in the lounge (which is big) could my 8 year old son be. When I commented that it didn't say 21+ anywheres and this was a hotel lobby / lounge they repeated that it's a rule that kids are not allowed even if they aren't sitting in the bar. It was also Mother's Day and as a single mom I had been looking forward to a nice afternoon here with my son. My son felt horrible as he had known I really wanted to go there and even said "I can wait in the car while you spend time in there so I don't ruin Mother's Day." We immediately left as he didn't ruin the day but the Lincoln hotel did. I highly recommend anyone with kids stay away as clearly I thought this was a family friendly place and it's not.
