So I had just spent about 24-hours traveling from Southern Italy with an overnight layover in NYC when I ordered from Prima. I love pizza, my favorite foods consist of pizza, buffalo wings, and burritos (I'm a simple man), so I know that NY pizza is some of the best in the world. While I had just left the birthplace of pizza, I wanted to make sure to snag some NYC pizza when I got the chance before I returned to North Carolina. FYI: North Carolina is pretty terrible at pizza. I was going to order the House Pizza (Supreme Pizza), but my wife complained that I always order a supreme pizza. So after looking at the menu, it was decided that the buffalo chicken pizza was the way to go. I am glad we did. After we had got to our hotel room, we devoured it. It was the perfect meal for our travel-weary stomachs. It's quality even held up overnight and was a delicious breakfast as we waited for our morning flight home. Prima Pizza is well worth a try. Prima is always my go to pizzeria. Not only for their amazing different choices of slices/pies but also for their pasta. One of my faves is the chicken buffalo roll. Craving it now as I'm typing. Also, they are one of the very few local places to carry Stewart's soda. The staff are way kewl and very attentive. My fave or it's pies are the penne a la vodka (w chicken), buffalo chicken, Caesar salad and Sicilian as well. So many choices. Zeppoles, garlic knots and pinwheels always fresh. Tried this pizzeria for the first time after a recommendation and reading the online reviews. It's a bit further than some of the more local pizza places in my neighborhood but It was worth It. The food did not disappoint. The pasta with vodka sauce was delicious and the fries were seasoned wonderfully. Delivery time was less than thirty minuets which was also a pleasant surprise. New lane pizza is garbage pizza, and sal's pizza is no longer of quality. Prima pizza is delicious, it's fresh, service is awesome, the place is clean and the prices are fair. Chicken roll for 5 bucks, best deal in town. They have a special which is a boat load of food and it's only 20 bucks. I've ordered from here plenty of times in the past and had no issues. However this last order I placed was horrible. I ordered through GrubHub. Medium cheese pie, a 2 liter Coke, and an order of buffalo wings. Their wings have always been perfect. When I opened the pizza box it looked like it had been placed in a messenger bag on its side. I'm not one to jump to complain but when we noticed the pizza was raw I called GrubHub to ask for a refund. The GrubHub rep was great and did what she could. The restaurant refused to reimburse me for the pie, they'd only replace it. Since it was already late at night I explained that I just wanted my money back. After about 20 mins on the phone GrubHub issued me a refund. They've lost a loyal customer. read more

Awful food, i ordered from eat24 and the pizza i got was burnt, and the french fries were all oily and the chicken fingers had no taste. Worst experience ever i have never went to the store in person but my first ever experience at delivery was horrible. its like they gave me food that was days old. I ordered here thinking the food was going to be awesome because of all the nice reviews, but boy was i wrong. Everything is overpriced and definitely not worth the money, if you want pizza go to pizza hut or dominos this store is terrible, do think twice before ordering. Finally Woodhaven gets a respectful Pizzaria that it deserves!! Growing up the pizza in this neighborhood was amazing. There never was a bad place within a 2 block radius, then the quality dropped. Worst service! I asked the delivery guy if he could come to the basement door because it was snowing, he said "na, not going to the door, so you can come outside." Then, he hung up on me. I got my food outside, and I told him I would be contacting Yelp or EAT24 for my tip back, he said "okay." I then called Prima Pizza, and I stated, "I would like to make a complaint about the delivery guy because he refused to come to the door and hung up on me, therefore I will be asking for my tip back." The person on the phone claimed he was the owner, and I kid you not this was his response: "What more do you want? Be grateful he delivered your food." i got the chicken parm with penne which also came with a nice and chewy loaf of bread. first off, the chicken, cheese and bread tastes really good. however, the penne needs more sauce. the sauce in itself tastes average, it's nothing special. even with more sauce i think it wouldn't be anything spectacular. tasting just the penne wasn't pleasing to my taste buds. it was sad. there were pros and cons to this dish but at the end of the day i think i'm gonna rate prima a 3.5 and rate down to 3 because i feel more of a negative than positive impact from the meal (mainly because of the bland penne taste). one thing i have to say before i end this review is that the bread is the best bread i ever saw or ate coming from a pizzeria. read more

The pizza (cheese and sauce) has no absolutely no flavor whatsoever, while the bread is thick and a workout for the jaw. I was looking for Carlo's Pizza a few months ago and found that it's now Prima Pizza. I visit them every weekend or so to buy pizza for the family. My favorite is their grandma pizza. The fresh mozzarella and basil, flavorful sauce and crust really are to die for. I've tried their plain pizza, other specialty pizza, pepperoni and spinach pinwheels, a pasta dish or two and chicken rolls. Everything I've tried gets a thumbs up and my family competes for the selection I bring home! Their plain cheese slices are also fantastic when you eat them at the restaurant right out of the oven. The menu they post on the wall is pretty extensive, and has something for everyone. The service is cordial and efficient, and everything is reasonably priced and affordable. read more
