After a nice summer day today in the park the last thing on my mind was cooking but all I could think about is a nice pizza pie to end a nice day out with my kids , we ordered a fresh Margherita Large pie and I got a potato croquette in the side for myself. What stands out to me from most of the pizza spots in The neighborhood is that their sauce is distinguishing and I like how their dough taste it is not tasteless or watered down the taste always stays the same and doesn't change and that's honestly what I love about it the consistency. I used to purchase pizza from locations even closer to my home but since I walked in here one day after leaving school about 19 years ago I never stopped loving and ordering their pizza . Their food is always consistently great everything is fresh and the store is really clean. the guys who work behind the counter are nice and this is definitely one of my favorite pizzerias is in New York. They serve a full meals like mozzarella and tomato pasta and about 13 different kinds of pizza, salads, fried calamari, they have a big menu for such a small place definitely must try it if you haven't and I'm a regular. The restaurant is really clean and the bathrooms are clean. 5 Stars hands down for this Gem! read more

In addition to pizza slices, they also offer a wide variety of dishes including pasta, salads, sandwiches, risotto balls, antipasto, etc. Everything looked really good! We got two white slices, a cheese slice, and a potato croquette. Service was quick and everything was warmed up in the pizza oven. It was past lunch time, but before dinner, so unfortunately we didn't get hot out of the oven pizza slices, but our slices were still pretty good. The white slice was pretty heavy though. It wasn't a thin NY slice. It was thicker and had a LOT of cheese on it. I mean, don't get me wrong, it was good, but I think I like a thinner, foldable white slice. The cheese slice was solid though. The potato croquette was amazing though! Yum! I've never had a tastier croquette! The filling was amazing! Only down fall I can say about this place is they don't take credit cards, only CASH! Getting home to the aroma of pizza in the car!! I so couldn't wait to get my hands on a slice!! As usual Romeo didn't let me down!! They made that pizza oh so buttery and delicious!! Just off of two slices I was stuffed! Once again, my thoughts were split and mixed, in that the Regular didn't pique my taste interest at all, the Sicilian started out well enough but stalled at halftime. (The halfway point through the slice). The crust rocks the house and any ingredient would and should feel proud to sit a top the airy, crusty beautifully prepared and baked unleavened yeast. Sadly, I missed the lure of other reviewer's draw to what's on top. The sauce seemed canned with some additional efforts, the cheese was of average quality.
