The dining area is pretty small, and the bar has maybe around 20 seats, so it feels like the perfect spot for a solo meal. The food is always delicious, and the service is consistently great. It's also close to home, which is already a plus. I've always tipped 20% or more, but now that they've removed the mandatory shared house tip, I really appreciate knowing that my tip goes directly to the people who actually served me. read more

Steaks were good, that's where the good ends. Took some clients in for Dinner. We added 3 people last minute and they accommodated the change. This was my second time in and the first experience brought me back. Second one convinced me to never go back. First of all, It was very very hot at our table. Uncomfortably hot. Second, The server was one of the worst I've had. I had to flag down the hostess to put in a drink order after I waved at our server and she ignored me multiple times. My customers ordered the Fish n Chips and both were disappointed with their selection. I had the ribeye and it was good, a bit overpriced but I've paid more for for similar value I'm not complaining about that. Let's just say I won't be taking clients here again. Try Cleaver, Herbs and Rye, golden steer, SW at Wynn or Don's Prime. Heck outback might be better than this. read more

This is hands down my favorite upscale restaurant in Vegas. I recommended it to a friend who was trying to decide where to eat for her birthday dinner and we had a great time. This is such a good spot for special occasions. I think they recently changed their service fee policy and changed it to a standard tipping model, but I could be wrong. We joined on a Friday during happy hour and tried a variety of menu items. We had crab fried rice, seared salmon tiradito, jumbo wild Mexican shrimp, Caesar salad, brussel sprouts, oysters, 18 oz ribeye, macoroni & cheese, assorted sorbet, and the gluten free sticky toffee pudding. As a disclaimer, I don't eat raw seafood or crab so my favorite dishes are based on that factor. For an appetizer, I would recommend the Caesar salad. For your main meal, I would recommend the 18 oz ribeye to share. For sides I would recommend the brussel sprouts and their twice baked potato puree. For dessert, I would recommend the sorbet if you want something light and refreshing, and the gluten free sticky toffee pudding if you prefer something sweet. I feel their drinks are too strong for my taste, so I don't have any drinks to recommend. This place is beautifully decorated and service is top tier! I also want to note that during happy hour they don't have their bread service available. I was disappointed about this because I was looking forward to it, but I'm still happy with our meal. We came in on a Saturday night for date night, and the service was truly outstanding from start to finish. From the host staff to our servers, everything felt welcoming and intentional. We were taken care of by Kim and Cierra, and although I didn't catch his name, there was also an African American gentleman with clear glasses who was equally attentive and kind. They all gave great recommendations and made the experience even better. This is one of my favorite places; I come specifically for the crab cakes and the filet mignon. My husband had the ribeye with jumbo shrimp, and we also ordered the crab rice. Everything was absolutely amazing. Cierra even took photos for us when I asked, which made our date night feel extra special. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this spot. I just moved in the southern Highlands area last year and finally made it into prime 141 a couple of weeks ago. I've gone to a ton of the steakhouses around town on and off the strip and was curious how a local spot in a neighborhood would be. This review is just for the bar experience went in with some friends had cocktails love that they have this kind of zodiac theme for their signature cocktails. Bar staff was very nice, and the restaurant itself was pretty nice. I wouldn't say it's as nice as Harlo in Summerlin, which is something I would compare it to. We had a few bites of food. About three dishes: fries, the crudités, and something else. Beautiful presentation. I did think the prices were also fair for the overall quality and experience. The single best happy hour we have ever been to! From the moment we walked in our hostess Selena was extremely courteous, friendly, and went above and beyond. The ambience here is absolutely stunning. Our server Kim was absolutely amazing. She did every single thing to make sure that she never skipped a beat, continually checking on us, making sure our drinks and food arrived right on point. She took time to explain menu items down to ingredient details. The European smoked butter with their housemade truffle bread was literally something like I have never tried before and such a delicacy! The crabcake was absolutely delightful. The martini flight was such a fabulous addition to happy hour with multiple different flavors and tastes, including Mezcal, bourbon, and of course, a traditional vodka martini. Their happy hour traditional Tito's martini was extra dirty and definitely larger than your average. Everyone on staff went completely above and beyond coming over to check on us and introduce themselves. This is literally the best steakhouse happy hour I have been to in Las Vegas and the best hidden gem in the southwest part of Las Vegas! Do not sleep on this one!! My hopes were set sooooo high for this experience after hearing about it from a friend. First off, when making a reservation, I feel like they shouldn't even ask about special occasions if they aren't going to acknowledge it. We went for my 51st birthday. It was not only selected as an options but a comment was left in the box as well. We didn't expect anything free, but recognition would have been appreciated- otherwise leave it off your reservation page. The aesthetic was amazing, beautiful setting, lovely menu. However, service was incredibly slow - which was surprising since there were only 2 other tables occupied. Our waiter was so soft spoken, we had to ask him to repeat every single thing he said. He didn't seem to have a good handle on the menu or the items. Perhaps he was still new... The cocktails, after a very lengthy wait, were delish- the bread with the smoked salted butter was a highlight. We opted for the crab cake appetizer. So much delicious crab. Well done! The filet, bruleed corn and potato purée were tasty, but we were so over the wait by then, it overshadowed our experience. Will I be back to try some happy hour things? Maybe. They are close to our house, and I'd love for this to be a place for us to prefer. However, the disappointment in service and lack of special occasion recognition will definitely keep me from having this be a special occasion restaurant. What a pleasant surprise -- an upscale experience tucked into an unassuming shopping complex. The interior design of this restaurant was visually enticing before the rest of our senses! We were seated at the bar, which I was initially concerned about, but they kept an empty chair between couples so we could have a more intimate feel. The complimentary bread was spinach and artichoke- delicious! The butter is brought out under glass, which when removed by the server revealed a layer of smoke that added a nice richness and flavor to it. I chose to pair that with The Cancer, which is a cosmopolitan martini (the cocktails are zodiac themed). For my entree, I had to have the Lobster Mac, as I never pass on that dish if it's offered (it's billed as a side dish but definitely dinner sized), along with an impressive and equally delicious Caesar Salad. My husband ordered the Filet and found it perfectly cooked to his desires and he couldn't stop raving about the Corn Brulee he chose as his side. We were offered complimentary glasses of sparkling rosé at the end, with "Happy Anniversary" wishes, which was so thoughtful and really made us feel special. Because it was also Valentine's Day, each woman was given a cute branded teddy bear as well. The check is presented on an adorable French Bulldog statuette, with complimentary chocolates. We decided to give it a try for Valentine's Day, and it did not disappoint. When you step in, you immediately notice the beautiful ocean theme. It's not a very large restaurant, so I think reservations are probably necessary for the weekends. Our server was very knowledgeable and very kind. The bread that comes to the table is a showstopper! It's also very delicious. They have a lot of fancy drinks, but I went with a lemonade which they presented very nicely. For dinner, I ordered the black angus filet mignon with the bernaise sauce. The steak was amazing! I love a good crust on a steak, and this was done beautifully! The sauce was also lovely, but I definitely want to try the 141 classic bold sauce next time. We also ordered macaroni and cheese to share, and it was pretty good. I think the noodle shape isn't great for the consistency of the sauce, but the taste was great. We made a reservation here for our anniversary dinner. For some reason I thought this was strictly a steakhouse, but it was more like a trendy bar and lounge with a small dining area. Regardless, we were pretty impressed with Prime 141! The taste and the quality of our Entrees and sides were outstanding. Bread and Crudite: Nice presentation with the smoked butter. The bread looked hard to eat and first. But after pulling it apart and spreading the butter on, you will want more for sure! Broiled Lobster Mac: generous pieces of lobster and the mac was cooked perfectly. Twice Baked Puree: simple but unique. Creamy but could have added more pieces of bacon. I did love the presentation of the potato chips around the plate. However, why do they use the thinnest chips ever?? The half that was dipped in the puree was soggy and melting away. Maybe some thicker ruffle chips would be a better idea and a tad bit more on the side to use for dipping would be nice. Miso Glazed Black Cod: this was full of flavor and tasted amazing until the last bite! It is really hard to find good miso cod since moving away from Hawaii. Prime Black Angus Ribeye Steak: my husband ordered this one and said it was melt-in-your-mouth good. It was one of the best steaks he had had and better than the Ribeye at the Four Sixes, wow! Unfortunately, the dessert wasn't the greatest. We wanted to try the Tiramisu, but they didn't have any that night. So we went with the Chocolat Pot De Creme. Again, nice presentation, but it was too rich and super sweet. Luckily we ordered some Vanilla Ice Cream with it, but I would definitely pass on this unless you love extremely sweet desserts. Armando was our server and he was very nice and polite. The staff failed to ask if we wanted any refills on our drinks. The service was good enough, but not exactly top tier. For the mandatory 22% service charge they add to the bill, I expected more. There is a lot of construction and lane closures in the area, so allow yourself the extra time to get there. This place is a little far from our area, so I'm not sure we will return again. But overall it was a good experience and we enjoyed our anniversary dinner here! read more

The amount of effort that is put into the customer having a great experience is phenomenal. I have to say the oysters are the best in town without a doubt. My ribeye could be cut with a spoon. The Mac & Cheese was a perfect consistency and the flavor was out of this world. I would recommend the ribeye or the miso cod. The drinks are reasonably priced and were excellent. The staff went above and beyond with making sure that our experience was everything. For a local this was a great Friday night and as a tourist this would've been the highlight of my stay! We also ordered the grilled asparagus and classic potato puree. Lastly, our server surprised us with a complimentary dark chocolate mousse, which was rich and decadent. The only reason I am not giving this restaurant 5 stars is due to the length of time it took for us to get our cocktails as well as our entrees. My wife and I visited Prime 141 for happy hour on Friday, 1/24. Kristina, our server, did a fantastic job of ensuring our experience lived up to our expectations! We ordered the hamachi ($22), charcuterie ($30), and steak sliders ($6/each). The fish was sashimi grade deliciousness. The charcuterie board looked a little small in the pictures we saw but definitely wasn't in real life! Plenty of cheese and meat options with toastini bread, pickles, hot honey, fig jam, deli mustard, olives and more! The steak sliders were also delicious with homemade buns to boot! One of the best places to go off strip in my opinion! We made reservations for an anniversary dinner here and it was fantastic. The hostess greeted us and offered to take a picture of us by their decoration, and ended up turning it into an anniversary card for us to keep. Great attention to detail! We also got seated quickly at the booth, and the restaurant has a deep sea, modern that is very welcoming. We ordered the "Aquarius" and "Virgo" cocktail to start, and king crab tempura to start, as well as the rib eye and deep sea scallops for entrees. For sides we went with the twice baked puree and creamed spinach. They also provided bread and crudite complimentary so it was a good amount of food. Unfortunately they were out of king crab, but they offered to replace it with crab cakes and we were happy with the decision. Everything was flavorful and delicious! The steak was well cooked and the scallops were huge. The bread and crudite was very unique and not something that you'd see at other steakhouses. For dessert, they offered a complimentary pot de creme and we added an off the menu, affogato to go along with it. They were amazing and not overpowering with sweetness. Definitely worth trying. The best thing may just be their service! Our server, Armando, took great care of us throughout dinner and offered great suggestions and was extremely attentive. Kudos to him for an amazing job. My wife and I are celebrating our 34th anniversary this week in Las Vegas. We decided to go out for a really nice dinner for the occasion, but were surprised to find that all of the usual spots in town were pretty much booked. This really surprised me as it was a Sunday night that I was requesting, but, nevertheless, I had to expand my search. I found a highly rated establishment not far from town, maybe fifteen minutes, and we drove over there to check it out. Great move on my part, but yes, I got lucky. What we found was Prime 141, a steakhouse located in a shopping center that looks like any other business. But let me tell you, it's not just another business. This is a high end restaurant, voted by Yelpers as one of the Top 100 in the country! Our experience, from the time we stopped in to make a reservation on Saturday, to when we paid our bill after dinner on Sunday was exceptional in every way. The staff could not have been more attentive, courteous, personable, whatever you can say, just incredible. Our steaks were done perfectly, the bread is really special, especially with the "smoked butter", the roasted Brussel sprouts were perfect, and then a beautiful chocolate mousse for dessert. I have been wanting to try this restaurant for over 2 years now, when I first saw it. However due to the price point it was something we had to plan for a special occasion so we went for our 5 year anniversary and Valentine's Day. Both my husband and I have been looking forward to this for so long but we went in with the expectation that they may be busy because it was Valentines and a bit slower service because of it. I was surprised to see many empty tables and only what looked like 2 servers. The hostesses were so sweet and got us seated right away even though we showed up 10 minutes early. Our server introduced himself quickly and took our drink orders and delivered us the AMAZING bread within just a few minutes, so things were looking really good. With it being our first time there he was happy to answer any questions and make recommendations. We ordered a small seafood platter to share and that was also brought out quickly. We were both having the best time at this point and were excited about the over the top delivery of our left over bread on a fancy velvet stool! I had never seen anything like that before so we were definitely feeling special. Our waiter then took our dinner order and I also ordered a side of butter and drink refills. This is when things took a turn and the reason for the deduction of 2 stars which I'm so sad about. We waited for the butter and sodas for the LONGEST TIME and even had to remind the server about the butter. I want to say it took upwards of 20 minutes to finally get the butter and even longer for the drinks. He did mention that he put the drink order in but they got "backed up". At this point we excepted that and we're still happy as can be. However our food took a crazy amount of time to be served. By this point I was just sad because we had already been there almost 2 hours. I REALLY wanted to get the special fondue Farris wheel for desert as I saw it on another table when we arrived and it looked adorable- but we didn't have time as we had other plans. I totally understand how servers and kitchens can get backed up- even I worked as a server for a few years in Henderson- but where my issue comes in is that the service started top notch as it should be at this kind of establishment and dipped down so drastically for what seemed to be for no reason. They didn't have a ton of people walk in, no big parties, and I'd say the bar was more full than the tables- all I wish is that our server or a manger would have checked in with us and explained it was going to take awhile. We felt totally forgot about and I could tell the table next to us felt the same. I will say our server was great. He was so kind and made us feel very special at the start. Even wished us Happy Anniversary. I just wish there would have been more transparency. I wish we could have gotten everything we wanted to order instead of having to rush to get our check because we waited so long. If I knew it was going to be such a long wait I would have ordered sooner, and put in for desert when we got dinner. When we went to leave the hostess gave me the cutest bear stuffy and that was a nice touch. All and all I hope one day we can give this place another shot but with the price point and the feeling of being forgotten...not sure that we will anytime soon at least. If we do I'll definitely update the review for everyone! Oh and the food was REALLY DELICIOUS! The bread OMG was the best bread I've EVER had! Our crab was perfect and the Waygu steak tender and so easy to eat with ample flavor! If we would have gotten the same service throughout this would have been a 5 star review for sure. My boyfriend and I just marked five years of dating and I wanted to make this anniversary extra special. So we decided to celebrate by making a reservation at Prime 141 Steakhouse in Southern Highlands. We booked a reservation through OpenTable for 7/18/24 at 7:00pm. Visiting steakhouses are extremely rare for us because they are crazy expensive, so we put them aside for special occasions, like this one. It's also important to know that they have a strict dress code, so dress nicely (but not too nice!). Some prohibited items to remember, which are deemed inappropriate in a steakhouse setting, are baseball caps and baggy clothes. We got a table in their lounge area upon my request when I booked the reservation, which was surrounded by the bar area. The ambiance inside is intimate and romantic, with lots of twinkling lights around, mostly in the bar area. We got a cozy corner booth in the lounge, where our server, Milan, gave us a wine menu and a cocktail menu (their cocktails are named after zodiac signs). I wanted to try their Sauvignon Blanc Chardonnay by the glass, but I was told that they were out of that, so he gave me two other Chardonnay tasters for me to try (I don't remember their names). One had a bit of a dry taste to it and the other one had more flavor compared to the other one. So I chose the Chardonnay that had more flavor. They have different bread selections that rotate on a weekly basis. Our bread came with some delicious butter spread and a great selection of vegetables. After looking over the menu, we chose seasonal oysters as our appetizers to share with one another (4 pcs), which came with three different dipping sauces. The oysters, which were caught out of Washington Bay according to Milan, tasted like my mouth was taking a stroll on the beach with that moderately salty flavor. Our entrees were a steak burger with plain fries for me and a lobster roll with parmesan fries for my boyfriend. The steak burger came with cheddar cheese, onions, tomatoes, pickles, and ketchup. Both dishes were absolutely spot on and delicious, and we ended up having to take them back with us as leftovers because they were so big. They ended up packing our food for us, which was a nice touch. Our night closed with a mint-flavored macaron, which was presented to us on a plate held by a French Bulldog statue. We've actually never had macarons before so we decided to give them a shot. And they were amazing! It had that hard shell on the outside and that gooey feel on the inside. Before we left, we were presented with a coupon that was valid for a complimentary signature cocktail on Tuesday's only. This is something we'll have to use in the future. What an excellent experience! One of my best friends Kailli recommended me this place after dining here for her birthday, so decided to book a reservation for me and my husband for my husband's birthday dinner! This spot is located next to Spaghetti Western in a shopping center, which makes it even more unassuming from the outside. But once you step inside, WOW! They did not miss the mark on making you feel the seafood steakhouse vibe. Everything from the octopus napkin rings, so the tables and walls that kind of remind me of an ocean flowing, they went in on every last detail and it doesn't go unnoticed. Our server was fantastic and even had another server shadowing him for her first day. They both made sure to check in regularly, which was great. The cocktail menu is SO FUN! They do it based off Zodiac signs, which is kinda neat. I had to order my own zodiac, since it was basically a gin gimlet, it was destined to be! My husband ordered his, too, which was something with bourbon but was the Taurus. Both cocktails were sooo good and beautiful presented. I think we both ended up having two cocktails. To eat, we got the complimentary bread, which comes with the smoked butter, such a beautiful and fun presentation for every table. The bread is switched out regularly, and that night was mushroom bread. Though I'm not a big fan of mushrooms, this bread was OUTSTANDING! It was soooo good. They also gave us vegetables to dip with this delicious dipping sauce. So tasty. To eat, we ordered the crab cakes, which basically is ALL crab! Oh my gosh. This was honestly the highlight. It was so dang good I could have eaten 50 more of them. My husband ordered the steak and then I ordered the lobster roll with truffle fries. We also got the twice paked potatoes on the side, too, which was so good. Almost like a whipped potato... Delicious!!! The portions here are pretty large! So I filled up quick. Definitely would recommend this place for a special occasion. They took a photo of us and printed it out and all signed the card for his birthday! So sweet. Definitely on the more expensive end, but I believe they also have a pretty good happy hour. And I believe you get what you pay for, which is a wonderful experience! read more

The ambiance here is beyond cool and very different. You are transported under the sea with beautiful tableware, funky art and a very neat drink menu! We have been here a few times and the service is fantastic as well as the food is to die for! We spent an anniversary dinner here and never felt rushed and felt like the most important people in the room! They also have a fantastic happy hour. Prime 141 Steakhouse might be best meal I had in Vegas. Everything was excellent. Crab cake best ever with a mix of lump and king crab, creamed spinach , insane lobster Mac and cheese, blue cheese crusted ribeye, with chocolate mouse for desert. Crab cake: MEATY. I thought walking in king crab was over the top, but it WORKS. Best I have had, easily. The spinach still had some crisp to it. 10/10 The lobster Mac and cheese in most places is an excuse to charge you to try to find the lobster. This had fat meaty claws waiting on top. Unreal The ribeye was cooked perfectly with a great crust without being over cooked. That 1600° oven shows. She got an Expresso Martini she loved. It's a gorgeous small restaurant. Service was excellent and chef came out to greet us. Chose this as my birthday dinner and could not be happier. read more

If you want Las Vegas Strip quality food and ambiance but want to avoid the Strip? Llook no further! Prime 141 is a local hotspot in Southern Highlands tucked away in a Smiths shopping center! I was shocked at the location when i walked in, I didn't expect to be blown away! Service is top tier and they charge off the top of the bill for it. Food is exceptional. This is not a bad place for a local bougie steakhouse. I had the fillet and some sides which were delicious. If you got on Wednesday, they have 50% off bottles of wine.
