You will wait 15 to 30min often. But the care is AMAZING. They listen to everything I have to say, ask questions, and then discover something I didn't think to ask about. They've been taking excellent care of me for almost a decade after other Dr gaslight me and said I was just obese and hypochondriac. Dr Jasani discovered multiple, chronic issues I have, discovered an abnormality in my EKG, and VALIDATED ME. I also see Hiral PA-C now since she has more availability than Dr Jasani, and she is just as caring & attentive. They're doing a wonderful job keeping me healthy, and I appreciate them so much The staff has to be direct and quick, because it's a very busy practice. Office almost never answers the phone. Don't get your blood work done here, they will send it to Hackensack Meridian for testing, it is the most expensive place to get blood tested. Doctors are good but the office management is a complete disaster and understaffed. Almost impossible to reach the office my phone, nurse voice mail system often results without any call back or follow up. This place is garbage; absolutely the worst office ever!! The staff is useless; they can't even complete a simple task like faxing a referral. They also force you to make appointments just so they can charge you. They never answer their phone. They don't return calls. I called this office and asked for blood work so I could get my prescription filled. They said they will have the Dr. write a scrip for that and they will call me right back when it was ready. Five days later I went to the office to see where my phone call was and her answer was as follows.."We gave the message to the Dr. however, it was her last day and I guess she never did it". On Saturday 8/20/22 at 1045 am I had an appointment to see Dr. Jasani. I had this appointment for a month and a half and upon arrival the front desk female, Farina, stated to me that my insurance was no longer accepted here. I stated to her why wasn't I notified that I was not covered prior to my visit, and I would not have traveled all that distance to see Dr. Jasani. The front desk member became annoyed that I was questioning her about why I wasn't notified, and she became very annoyed using her hands in the air and telling me that I should pay for the visit, she then said that I was bullying her, and she threatened to call the police. A few minutes later the Metuchen Police arrived. The Police Officers stated to me that it was not necessary to call them for the fault of the staff at this office for not notifying me about the cancellation of my coverage at this office. I feel that the actions of the staff member in not being respectful and calling the Police was rude and unprofessional. read more

Over the past 7 years my wife and I have been seeing a truly kind and wonderful doctor at PrimeCare who takes time with each patient and has excellent reviews. When I called a few weeks ago to make an appointment I was told she was no longer working there. I want to continue as her patient. But PrimeCare is refusing to give me a contact phone number on grounds of protecting her privacy. And when I wrote a letter addressed to her at the PrimeCare office, asking them to forward it to her, they refused to do this, even though this does not in any way interfere with her privacy. So I am giving PrimeCare one star. There are several caregivers there I like, and one I do not like, but I want to stay with the person who has been my doctor for the past 7 years, and I deeply resent their blocking my attempts to stay in touch with her. read more

I saw Dr Jasani the first couple times, and I did not like her at all. Then I switched to Dr Sirisina and I love her! She goes out of her way to explain things and check everything,and she even squeezed me in one day when I just showed up with an emergency medical issue. They sometimes forget to call me with test results, and they NEVER call when my referrals are ready (even though they tell you they will and you should wait to come get them when they call-it's frustrating). I have noticed many people complain about the wait with the other doctors, but I have never waited more than 10-15 minutes for Dr Shalini. read more

Don't do your labs or procedures here. They are in partnership with JFK which bills way higher than others. A $10 worth of lab procedure will be $100+ for them. Lucky you if your insurance covers it or not to be applied in your deductible. read more

They recently switched to JFK for all the tests and bloodwork. The bills from JFK hospital are through the roof. I'm not sure if the doctor's office is getting kickbacks but the bills that you now would get are outrageous. 2 stars for the doctor and ease of getting an appointment. read more

I've been coming to Prime Care for almost 3 years and have only positive experiences! I see Shalini Sirisena, the physicians assistant, from my experience this is better than a regular Dr. because she spends more time with you. Almost every Dr. I have had rushed you out without talking through what's wrong that's never an issue I had with Shalini. I also have never waited more then 15 minutes to get in. read more

Dr Maria Garcia is a very kind and compassionate Doctor who never makes me feel rushed answering all of the questions I have. She has answered phone calls to her office at the end of the day personally which I have greatly appreciated. Over the years I have experienced some major medical setbacks so I have been seen by Dr Jisani and Shalini as well as Dr Garcia.--All are very thorough,kind, and caring. The office is clean and comfortable. Often I run into a friend from around town in the waiting room. They offer many conveniences too... You can have blood drawn right in the office or if you need a simple X-ray or Bone Density test they can do it right there. Dr Rossy has a great team at Prime Care Associates. Wehave been visiting prime care since 2013 at least and had a chance to meet Dr Jasani, Dr Shalini & Dr Zhang. We feel very comfortable with Dr Shalini. She is so positive, friendly and gives you a chance to express your concerns and she LISTENS to it. Even though her title is PA she is way more than the doctors I met so far in prime care. Dr Zhang is the one whom we DONT WANT TO MEET Again. We could feel the difference in the way she treats patients (may be racial ?!) and dont even listen to you. Love Dr. Jasani, but the office staff is horrible. Went in-in person to ask for a prescription for a diagnostic mammogram. Gave the girl at the front window a copy of the letter detailing what I needed plus my phone numbers all highlighted on the letter. Told her I would stop back in about an hour to pick it up since I saw Dr. Jasani was seeing patients. Stopped back and was told she had it for me, then realized it was for a different patient, but she would make sure it would get faxed over where I was having the Mammogram done. This was on a Monday and my appointment for the mammogram was 2 days later on Wednesday. I called the morning of my appointment to check to make sure the prescription was faxed and got a recording which I left a message. I get to my appointment and was shocked but not surprised that they didn't have the prescription. I was told I would have to reschedule unless they got the scrip. University Radiology bent over backwards to help me out and squeezed me in an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment when the "correct" script was sent over. Yes they sent the wrong one first See this isn't the first time the office staff at Prime Care has dropped the ball. Previously they forgot to send out my specimen for a UTI I had and I had to go back and wait 4 more days to get treatment. Another time I had a set appointment with my doctor and after I signed in they told me I didn't have a appointment but I could see a nurse practitioner who I never had before. I made such a fuss because I pulled at my appointment card that they gave me the previous appointment showing I did have a schedule appointment and I let them know I was not leaving until I was seen by my doctor who I had a scheduled appointment with. I could go on and on. Someone needs to take the reigns and get this office staff more organized. I'm not saying it's easy, but I've had too many problems with the office and talking with other patients, I'm not alone. It's ashamed because the doctors are fantastic! read more

I have been here a few times and the usual wait is at least an hour. This time I waited an hour for doctor Shalini Sirisena in the morning. I had to head back to work so I decided to reschedule to the first appt after their lunch on the same day. I came back and doctor Shalini Sirisena made me wait another 45 until I went to ask the nurse what was going on. What's the point of an appt if the doctor is going to make you wait. The nurse was apologetic and nice and I know it wasn't her fault. Doctor sirisena didn't even apologize and seemed annoyed because I rushed her. I think a patients time is just as important, I didn't like wasting three hours of my day driving and waiting for a 15 min appt either. I have had doctor sirisena twice and both experience were bad. I would recommend to stay away from her. doctor Anita S. Is much better. Though I had to wait an hour for her too. The one star is for the nurses who are very good. read more

I have been there twice for being sick. I was seen by Dr Zhang, who does not even examine you..She asks questions and answers them rudely.....When she looks in your throat, she stands 2 ft in front of you and shines a flashlight? How can you see the patients throat?? Never checks the sinuses when it appears to be a sinus infection. Also had bloodwork done twice there and I had to call a million times to get my results, if not they never call you..i don';t know what my bloodwork results mean with high levels, but they don't go over anything either.. Not very pleased with Dr Zhang at all. I will try again with someone else but that's it..one more time!! read more
