The system barely functions properly and makes communication feel impersonal and unnecessarily difficult. For example, I recently reported that our shower was not functioning properly, and the AI immediately categorized it as a "shower leak" and started asking generic automated questions instead of addressing the actual issue. It honestly feels like tenants are talking to a broken customer service bot instead of a real person who can help. On top of that, tenants are charged nearly $3 every month just to pay rent online through their portal. Even when using direct bank account and routing information, while rent continues to increase by 10% annually. For a company managing only a small 6-unit building, I expected better communication, better maintenance support, and more consideration for tenants. I was a homeowner a few times during this time also I am very aware of the responsibilities of an owner and as a renter. I want to believe, given the appropriate opportunity, I would have experienced a more favorable outcome. Robert, to my knowledge, has not been directly involved in the nefarious actions of his clients. The turning off of my heat and hot water on several occasions in the past month. The hiding of my trash cans. The theft of my mail and subsequent use of my bankcard by a family member. The constant harassment, verbal assaults, physical threats and finally lying regarding my exclusive use of a patio and then in retaliation, excluding it as a punishment. I believe Robert was acting in good faith regarding his client. However I have and continue to suffer greatly at the hands of his client. I can only close my eyes, click my heels together 3 times and repeat, "there's no place like home," and hope a house falls on top of his client. When I open my eyes I will be transported to the home of my dreams, on 3/2/2026, far, far away from this scary horrible place. I will pray for the next tenant!
