I had a gas leak in an old gas pipe leading into the house that was ready to go to settlement. Called several plumbing companies and Prime Plumbing was the only one who (1) answered the phone with a live person and (2) sent a technician out ASAP. The work was done in a timely manner. There were a couple of hiccups along the way that turned out to be NOT the fault of Prime Plumbing...Molly the manager was beyond amazing by expediting the scheduling of the inspection and a follow up service call ...again not due to anything wrong with the work...inspector/bank adjuster were the problem...but that's another issue. I had a drain flange that cracked under my kitchen sink causing a leak. Prime Plumbing quoted me a price of $522.50 for " Replace kitchen drain extension pipe with two flange nuts." I asked the technician how long would it take to repair and he stated "30 minutes". In essence, Prime Plumbing wanted to charge me an hourly rate of over $1,000 to perform a simple repair. I guess Prime Plumbing's business model is to quote absurd, unrealistic prices and hope a certain percentage of customers just agree with it and get the work done. Came over the house as I needed a hose bid installed for an outdoor faucet. Had a look in my basement then he proceeded upstairs and plopped down on my easy chair for 15 minutes using his IPad. Quoted 1100 dollars for what a google search says should be 150-500 I was incredulous as he smiled and agreed it wad an outrageous price... then after I declined he asked for a service call fee! One of the few plumbing places that picks up the phone when called during business hours! I called them up to help replace a broken exterior water faucet due to the recent snow last month. The technician was very thorough and polite! They came back a second time to help replace a 4.5 foot corroded pipe. Both times the technician was very professional, and got right to work! Great experience with Jeff in our house. We had just bought the house and we had a list of minor issues that our inspector had brought to our attention. Jeff patiently went through all the issues with us before identifying only 2 (out of 7 or so) that actually warranted repairs. Shout out to Jeff for being an honest guy. He could have easily just repaired everything on that list an walked away with a cool $3K and I wouldn't have known any better. Let me give a little backstory first. I woke up Saturday to my sump pump outlet draining out like a tsunami. I did some initial troubleshooting to isolate the root cause of the issue before making calls around to local plumbers. All four of the local plumbers that came out to look at the issue provided work estimates for service line repair and replacements priced north of the $4k mark. With my home being a new construction built only two years ago I had a funny feeling that there was something else going on that did not require digging and infrastructure overhaul so I decided to take one last look around for reputable local plumbers. I came across Prime Plumbing which had multiple five-star customer reviews on Google. We set up an on-site evaluation today 4/11/22 in hopes that someone would arrive earlier than the offered 11 AM to 2 PM time window. 45 minutes later we meet Nathan from Prime Plumbing who had arrived earlier than expected at no dispatch fee! I gave Nathan the details of what was going on and he said this sounds like a familiar situation that he could resolve within 15 minutes without ground digging, slab breaking or overhaul. 15 minutes later we were back up and running with hot water!!! He turned the outside water service valve back on and pointed out how the water service line meter reading did not change at all after the water service was restored. This verified that there was no leak in between the outside service line to the main water valve inside my home. At that point we went back out to monitor the reading on the service line valve. Still no change in the reading, still no leaks. Nathan gave the go ahead to turn on the main water valve in the house. The service line meter reading slowly incremented as he expected. We were able to verify water was restored inside the home and we also have our hot water back. All this went down within 15 minutes as he promised. That's simply incredible. Nathan's strong basic troubleshooting foundation and plumbing expertise saved me an unnecessary $7,500 service line replacement, an unnecessary week's stay at a hotel, broken concrete, an uprooted ground and all the frustration that comes with that process. He was able to root cause analyze and resolve an issue 4 other plumbing contractors overlooked and under analyzed. To show our gratitude we ended up giving him a bottle of Belaire Rosè champagne as a thank you token. Prime Plumbing is MY plumbing choice moving forward. Thanks $1M Nathan. Ron Green, master plumber from Prime Plumbing was absolutely wonderful. He truly evaluated the plumbing issues taking the time to show and explain the cause and resolution. Ron also pointed out, and showed me some things that needed replacement to prevent further issues during our thorough walk through, both inside and outside this old house. He typed everything in that I wanted done, and that needed to be done. He took his company IPad and worked out the costs in detail. They were very reasonable, and made it an easy and pleasant experience. Having had other companies out sending salesmen and not the experienced person who will be doing the work, was refreshing. Ron needed some parts to complete the job that day, and phoned his company to see if he could get them as soon as possible. His manager went out of his way to bring the parts to him. Ron was great to work with, conscientious, professional, and great at his job. He repaired and replaced the fixtures that were worn and inefficient, as well as cleaned everything up! The warranty I have through American Water Services contacted Prime Plumbing for a leaking pipe inside my home to my main line. I called 311 because of it being the main line being 70 plus years old and they turned the water off at the meter to prevent flooding to my house. The first technician dispatched (the next day)from Prime determined the main line needed replacement requiring excavation of my front yard that is a gardening showpiece of my late husband's. When Bill from Prime came out to write a proposal to American Water he determined and planned for minimal disturbance to my husband's beloved gardens. Apparently after consulting with American Water Bill wanted to have his guys (sorry I don't remember their names) try to make a repair through my basement instead of excavation. It worked and the household water was up and running! You guys were my heroes; first for not excavating my husbands gardens and for having water restored in about an hour. Put this plumbing company on the top of your list for plumbing repairs, they rock! read more

Liars! They scheduled an appointment with me for a water system installation and didn't show up! I lost a whole days pay for nothing! Then, they had the nerve to ask me to reschedule for another day! Heck no! They might not show up that day either! They don't pay me for lost wages! They are inconsiderate and disrespectful! I wouldn't dare hire them to take out my trash with that attitude! They should have gotten someone else out here immediately! Instead, they lied to me when I called in and told me that yes, they were in the office, but then slipped up and admitted that they were in a call center! I'd asked if they were in the office because I wanted to speak with a supervisor, and the girl even lied about that!Now, I've got to find someone else! Not interested in this company anymore. Prime Plumbers are professional who get any major plumbing job done well inside or outside one's house. My drain pipe in the basement which came with the house about 30 years ago was old, broken and corroded. Brad and his team from Prime removed the old, broken pipes and replaced them with new ones. Every question I asked them about the process was answered and explained to me very respectfully. Then they went outdoors to my front yard to dig it up and remove the old, corroded sewage pipes. Again, at each step of this process, Brad and his team were cordial, knowledgeable, and explained every step in the process to me and asked for my feedback. I am very satisfied with their removal of the old pipes and the installation of the new pipes. Great job. They cleaned up both work areas very nicely and in a timely manner. Before they finished the job, they asked if I had any questions. Because they did such an excellent job, I had no question about their work. As they were leaving, I waved goodbye to them, and they waved back. They did an excellent job in replacing the drain and sewage pipes, and everything is working wonderfully. Don't use these guys. They're a subcontractor for HomeServe. They're taking forever to fix my broke pipe. It's been over 2 months and I still can't park on my driveway. When you call their customer service, their techs can't help you. They can only email mangers. There's no phone number to reach managers. No physical office to go to to demand answers. You're left waiting for weeks with no communication. Use a different plumber that actually has customer service. I doubt anyone at Prime is reading this but if you are, please freakin call me back and make my driveway useable again read more

I had a couple plumbing issues to take care of. One was preventative maintenance on a Rinnai tankless water heater, and the second was a clogged laundry line. Since the technician could snake the laundry line while flushing the Rinnai, he have me a discount. He also showed me the clog...turns out the washing machine drainpipe can get clogged with lint... and he gave me a couple solutions as well. Prime Plumbing was timely, prompt, and able to resolve my issues. They were a true pleasure to work with. I would gladly hire them again. read more

Because Prime is the company that Homeseve is contracted with, they seem to always send these people out. They are the worst. They BS you about the problem, then leave without anything ever being resolved. Homeserve has sent Prime to my home 3 times in the past 2 years. Each time it's been a disaster. If you are contracting them directly, it maybe better, but I doubt it. If you have to go through a home servicing company, as I did, ask ahead if they are sending a service person from Prime. If it's Prime, refuse them immediately. Don't take on the aggravation and waste of time. Worst experience with a plumbing company ever! The plumber was very nice and efficient, but he told me I need to have additional work done and I needed to contact my warranty company to have it done. The warranty company said that Prime plumbing would have to put that request in. I contacted them and Melissa answered the phone and was completely rude and unprofessional. She talked over me consistently and even when I asked for a manager she told me no she was in charge. She didn't listen to my problem or concern and pretty much called me a liar when I told her what the plumber told me. I will never deal with this company again!!! Melissa is horrible and I will contact the better business bureau ASAP read more
