They have 5 staffs in the front walking around doing nothing, giggling and laughing, while seeing patient sitting there waiting and so not attend them. As someone who had not gone to the dentist in years because of dental anxiety and terrible experiences with other dentists, I 1000% recommend this place! I normally don't feel compelled to write positive or negative reviews because i don't care enough but I just had to write one for precision dental! I came in with little knowledge and extreme apprehension about dental care. The minute i walked into precision dental and orthodontics, i was immediately impressed by the pristine environment, as well as the warm welcome and awesome customer service by the office manager, natalie! Every inch of the office was brand new and filled with state of the art equipment! I had little to no wait time and was quickly seen right after filling out the proper paperwork, something i find quite rare with doctor offices. I first saw dr.trieu who was amazing! He helped me take x-rays by inserting film into my mouth and capturing that image with an x-ray gun. I personally have an extreme gag reflex, and many of my previous dentists and dental assistants would show obvious irritation and little patience, but not dr.trieu! He was extremely patient and made many accommodations for me to ensure that I was comfortable thoughout the whole process! A truly patient and compassionate doctor that cares about his patients comfort! After taking the x-rays, i sat down in the chair and i met dr.chen, who immediately came in radiating with energy and enthusiasm! He explained what dental care I needed and provided thorough explanations in layman's term so I could understand. He only recommended, and never pressured any type of treatment after telling me once! As stated previously, I avoided coming to the dentist for years because of anxiety and dr.chen was able to pick up on that and immediately made me feel super comfortable. He took his time, constantly checking and making sure that I was doing okay, and reassured me that we could stop at any moment. Genuinity, compassion for his patients, and a vast knowledge of oral health were all qualities i felt dr.chen not only upheld, but exceeded greatly in after meeting him. After my appointment was finished, both dentists actually came back to check up and chat with me for a while just about life and dentistry. Both are super knowledgeable and truly care about their work and patients. Such down to earth and cool people they're more like homies haha! Wonderful experience so far. My first visit the dr was very accommodating and staff were all so polite and respectful. I'm really happy with the way I was treated, empathy is a lost skill these days in medicine, they are so kindhearted and checked in with me every couple minutes during procedures. Had a filling replaced that was cracked and causing such problems when trying to floss, I have several fillings that are at least 12-15 years old that are cracked and will need to return but they did so well and photographed before and after so I could see the results. I appreciate how thorough they were in informing me of every step, that really puts patients at ease. He has a gentle touch and maintains communication with you to ensure the best experience. The office is also loaded with top tech new equipment, what a difference it can make for patients. I like asking him about some of it and he loves talking tech! For those concerned with insurance folks should understand insurance is your responsibility, there are 1000s of plans and they are all different. Any healthcare provider anywhere will tell you what a pain insurance can be, I can attest they work with you and your insurance to give to the best patient experience along with a good price. But insurance for any medical provider is still on you, thats our system. Horrible experience. Would never recommend to anyone. Went in for oral surgery (removal of 4 wisdom teeth). The procedure was not explained, the dentist was very cold and standoffish, it seemed like he did not want to be there. The area was not numbed properly before he injected me with anesthesia, therefore I felt everything. I have a high pain tolerance and there were tears rolling down my face as he butchered my gums. All he said was, "wait 10 minutes" and walked out. It was a dehumanizing experience. After the procedure, I was given a piece of paper with care instructions and told to ask for ONE piece of gauze. One piece for four holes in my mouth, so I had to go buy some with bleeding gums. The person in the front was also very rude and only added to this terrible situation. My sister had a surgery scheduled with this doctor and decided to cancel after what I can only describe as one of the worst experiences of my life. If you care about your well-being, please stay away. read more
