Dr. Parhizkar and his team were so kind and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. He took the time to explain everything to me, was very gentle throughout the procedure, and constantly made sure I was okay. I was honestly nervous going in, but the whole experience was much easier than I expected, and I felt so much better afterward. I'm really glad I found Dr. Parhizkar. My son has a severe tree nut allergy. I was dismayed to find that there were snacks provided in the waiting room containing almonds. When I asked the front desk clerk whether patients regularly consumed them in the waiting room she confirmed that, yes they do. When asked whether the waiting room was regularly cleaned to assess how much of a risk my child was in sitting in the chairs, she said they clean once daily. The staff did not seem concerned about the risk to my child. They also did not seem educated in preventing allergic reactions for future patients. The clinic was clean and the staff were polite albeit uneducated in food allergies. Those with a tree nut allergy be warned. read more

As most of my family is currently being treated by this dental group, I opted to join as well. The initial care involved a consultation, including x-rays, health record and an oral examination by Dr. Reza. Dr. Reza and his staff were the absolute best. From the time I entered the office everyone was professional, courteous and very welcoming. The front desk is very helpful, organized and friendly. The dental assistants and technicians were outstanding, as well. My name was even listed on the board of the office to welcome me to their practice. Their waiting room is clean and videos are very educational, too. Dr Reza reviewed my x-rays and suggested treatment(s). Everything was completely on board and I felt no pressure regarding his suggestions. The follow-up visit involved repairing (3) of my existing resin tooth fillings (which I already knew were an issue) which has now been completed and I can't be any happier with the outcome of my experience. The only suggestion that I have is that additional signing for the (2) entrances at the back of the building from the parking lot would be helpful. Honestly I thought when new owner taking over this practice the service was going to deteriorate. However everyone in this office has been amazing. I did encounter a problem but once I spoke to the manager we resolved it. Needless to say the only thing I can offer as advice is to have the dentist advise you how far along in the drilling you are as he's working because it sure feels like an eternity. But never had pain or problems with any of the work they have done. They are seriously going to be getting super busy as people start finding out about this place. After taking off my braces, I was searching for an office that performed composite bonding over a little tooth because I'm not ready to take the jump for a full veneer. I was calling around and every office other than this one wanted to do a veneer without a consult. During my consult Doctor gave me her opinion, warnings, and recommendation, answered all of my questions and made time to perform the procedure. Terms It has been nearly 4 years since I have been to see a dentist. Within 20 years, I have been through at least 5 dentists, and it is not because our dental insurance has changed. I have had a partial bridge done, and less than a year, it came out. They wanted to charge me again for a new one. I have had bad infections from one dentist and had a different dentist treat that infection, and it was the worst pain ever. Every dentist and front office was never pleasant. I felt it was all about money. If I didn't want certain treatment, they would make me feel bad. I finally decided I was done with all the dentists. At the end of March, I had 2 molars crack with missing a piece on each one. I searched and searched on Google and came across Advance Family Dentistry. When i had to call them, the front office was so very kind on the phone. They were able to get me in right away. I was very emotional going in because I just didn't want to be there, but I had no choice. The front office was so friendly and really cared about how I was feeling. They really made me feel welcomed. When I was taken to the back to see the Dr Reza. I was still pretty upset. Dr. Reza really worked with me. He was so patient and very friendly, which eased my anxiety. We set up the appointments to have the 2 molars repaired, and it was the best experience ever. I didn't even feel pressure about other treatments they could do for me. I did set up an appointment for deep cleaning and a night guard since I know I ground my teeth at night. I finally have a dentist who makes me want to come in routinely and finally take care of my teeth. Longtime dentist hater here. It had been some time before I had gone but was experiencing some pain, knew I had to get in because I was over eating 12 Advil everyday, just to get through the day. At the same time, my daughter was due for her appointment and due to a disagreement with her previous dentist, we decided to try someone new. The office is located directly off Baseline in Rancho, a building I've driven by a billion times. The office itself is clean, welcoming, a nice roomy couch (which I think my daughter said my husband fell asleep on during one of her visits), and candy/waters for clients. The also had a chalkboard which we noticed right away had our names on it. So far, so good. I was taken back before my daughter, warned the assistant that I am the WORST gagger when it comes to X-rays. A lot of people say they are, but really, I am. They are awful. So she did her best, but we ended up having to do the 360 one, which I am 100% here for, please use this always. I met Dr. Nouri first, who was very sweet, she recommended a root canal, wisdom teeth removal, scaling and I had a few cavities. (Awesome) I received a quote that same day as well as the referral to the Endodontist and Oral Surgeon. It was going to be a lot of time, and a lot of money but this is what happens when you don't go forever. I panicked about the root canal and contemplated just having them pull the tooth since it was so far back and Dr. Nouri called me after 7pm that night and talked me off that ledge, which was nice. This whole process started in early December, every time we walked into the office, they are always welcoming and reassuring. Dr. Reza has been the one who I have seen the most since and he is very fast, and precise. Which when you HATE the dental chair, is the most important thing. It's now March and everything is complete so I feel now was the perfect time to write the review. I may still hate the dentist, nothing personal, but this office has been so encouraging, I feel like I have finally found a place to start to change my feelings a bit.....maybe. :) Thank you Advanced Family Dentistry! read more

He's always in a good mood and his staff is so nice and friendly but what I like most about them is that they make sure the area they're working on is totally numb and take their time to make sure the stuff kicks in before they do their work unlike other dentists that rush to get you out of there.
