I had Prime Time Painting come out and give me an estimate on staining my home. The man was rude and was laughing at every question I had asked. Every single question I had asked him he was smirking/chuckling and rolling his eyes at me. Just because I am a woman he acted like I was an idiot. Finally, I had enough!! I called him out on the way he was treating me. Once again he started smirking/chuckling and saying no I am not. He was so condescending still!! I told him I do not want his estimate and told him how rude he was. Walked into my garage and closed it. Prime Time Painting most definitely will not get my business. I could not be happier with the work that Jose and his team did. I have a lot of dated wood trim and my walls were in pretty bad shape with nicks and scratches, and they prepped for days before starting in on the color. My dad told me that's how you know you have good painters. Now all the walls are gorgeous and smooth and the trim is sharp and clean. It's completely transformed my home. They also painted a large section of exterior brick and I immediately started getting texts from neighbors telling me how fantastic it looked. The guys were pleasant and friendly and didn't get annoyed when I kept adding extra rooms (because it looked so good!) And SO clean. Beware!!!!! They do not do what they promise!! So unhappy with the work done on my kitchen cabinets. Kevin Gallagher (salesman) assured my husband and I that they could paint and do small repairs (remove peeling and repair chips) on our white thermofoil cabinets. He said, "Five years ago, I would have told you that we couldn't paint them" Well, unfortunately, I decided to have them do the work instead of replacing the cabinet doors. When I signed the contract, they told me they wouldn't be out for a month, but if it rains they would move us up because most of the current jobs were outdoors. This didn't happen, and I had to reach out on the Friday before the Monday they were supposed to arrive to remind them to come. Have you seen this spring? It has rained almost every day. This should have been my first clue as to how they run their business. Daniel was the painter who did most of the work. Kevin had also promised that they could add base trim and other trim work to update the cabinets, but when I asked Daniel, he acted like he didn't or couldn't do that. When I reached out to Kevin, he sent an updated contract with the trim work. 2 days later, Daniel showed up with base trim that was too short. Daniel then had my husband and I looking at HomeDepot.com and Lowe's.com looking for appropriate sized trim, because he said that Menards has no other sizes. What?!?! We decided to cancel the trim work, because Daniel really didn't seem confident in his ability to do it. When the cabinet doors arrived they looked beautiful, but I noticed that none of the peeling areas were fixed (see photos) like Kevin said would and could be done, so we reached out to Kevin. Daniel then went and bought some glue to repair them. Um...what?!? I could have done that and I have glued them in the past. This doesn't stop the peeling. I am giving them 2 stars for the color recommendation for the island and the white color matching and the actual paint finish on the cabinets and moving the handle on the trash cabinet. (They didn't fill those holes properly though.) Also, they ruined the wood finish on my kitchen floors with tape. Their only solution was to have the sales guy Kevin repair it himself...nope! I would never recommended them for any painting job! So now I'm left with a damaged floor, unfinished bottom cabinets, extra paint, and glue to fix my thermofoil cabinets from peeling. All of this cost me $4K. Ugh! Horrible! read more

EXCELLENT!! Finding quality contractors can be very challenging. After doing some research online, I came across Prime Time via Yelp. After reading their reviews, I made an appointment. Kevin came out to our house and provided us with a very reasonable quote. I had received a couple of other quotes for the same areas and they wanted to charge us double! In the end, I listened to my gut and went with Kevin and his crew...Pedro and Carlos. Everyone was extremely professional and courteous from the beginning to the end. Job got delayed a week. Painters decided not to use scaffolding in our 20' ceiling living room. Painters don't use lights, don't tape off rooms or trim properly. Nothing but great things to say about Prime Time! We gathered quotes from 3 different painters, to paint all of the trim, crown moulding and doors in our 2700sq ft house. Prime Time's quote was in line with the other two, but they could come out right away AND would move all of the furniture, which the other two wouldn't. We just had Prime Time Painting out. Miguel was the guy that came out and got it done. He was awesome. I'm not sure Miguel had the instructions that were needed to sand all the walls in the entire room. He seemed surprised when we talked about Semi-Gloss currently on the walls midway through the painting preocess. Hopefully the new paint doesn't peel off. It was the whole point of having professionals out. Short of that. Miguel was amazing. The rep promised us a professional crew. Although the person who painted did a good job, the experience was lacking in my opinion. The painters showed up late on day one and on day two were over two hours late. They finished the job early but unbeknownst to me, left quite a bit of clean up work for me. There were spilled paint on the banisters, brick fireplace and dried drywall compound throughout. Took me two hours to clean that up. They should have done that. One of them did not have a babysitter so brought the kids each day. That wasn't a show stopper, but created liabilities issues that I won't go into. I had asked Prime Time for a quote to have the the interior of our 3000 sq foot house painted. They quoted me $15,000 dollars. We did not want to spend that type of money on painting at this time. So we ask for another quote knocking off 4 big room, 3 bathrooms, 7 closets. The quote came back at $13,500. We felt this was not correct, so we called Prime Time. My home is 100+ years old -- so it required A LOT of wood repair, power washing, sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, and painting. Great service and very quick! Bob got us a quote within a few days and once we accepted the quote he was able to schedule the paint job in just a week! Other quotes said they were booked at least a month out! He has very reasonable prices and his crew does quality work! We got our entire exterior painted with new colors and asked to install shutters too, it finally has curb appeal! His crew was able to get the job done in just 3 days when other quotes said it would take at least 1 week! The crew was on time every morning and stayed 10-12 hrs every day to get it done so fast without compromising quality. I was disappointed in the quality of work, paint was dripped on brand new carpet, painter cleaned brushes and roller in newly installed bathroom sink, paint splattered on counter in bathroom. Painted the baseboards, however, got paint on carpet. Painted window frame and proceeded to paint the storm window frame, it had to be scrapped to remove the storm. If you look closely you can see the writing through the paint. It seems that the paint was thinned out. Some friends said that is a common practice and never let the painters pickup the paint. 3 years ago Primetime painted the exterior of my house and they did a fantastic job. This week they completed the inside of my 3000 sqft house and more first class work. Started with taping and tarping off everything. Then they moved the furniture so they could access the walls and 16 foot ceiling. These guys do perfect work! We had the exterior of our cedar-siding house painted with solid-color stain. They gave a very fair price, used the best of paints (Sherwin Williams), nailed down boards, filled cracks, caulked everywhere that needed it, and painted nice straight lines. These guys do not cut corners; they removed downspouts so they could paint under them. Everything was cleaned up afterwards.
