We used Campos Painting for a deck cleaning and sealing. From the beginning, These guys were great. They worked with us and I think that their price was right in the ballpark. In the past, we have power washed the deck and sealed it ourselves. Very time consuming as our deck is quite large. These guys did a beautiful job in just a few days. They even impressed us by using a brush on the spindles. Ok, maybe we should have been doing that when we did it but we didn't. It looks incredible. This included doing all necessary patching of walls and cracks in the ceiling, painting all upstairs walls and ceiling, and painting all the trim and doors on the first floor. What a great group of guys. Very professional, and knowledgeable. I needed some shutters replaced and they took them down, cleaned up after themselves, and put up the new shutters with stainless steel screws not the cheap plastic ones that break so easily. Pedro, who has over 15 years painting experience and has worked with many of the big name painters in the western suburbs, and Mike answered all of my questions quickly and responded to my phone calls the same day sometimes within an hour. I can easily say that Campos Painting is the best painters you can get to come and paint your exteriors and interiors. I have worked with many painters of the years and by far Pedro and his team are the best. Why do I say this? It was not only the excellent quality of workmanship but the whole process of the quoting with Matt to the constant communication during the project. The crew was hired to do exterior painting of our garage door, paint all ceilings in our house, remove sections of drywall due to years of bad repair work and repair all imperfections of ceiling as they went along. We could not be more happy with the work. One area that stands out above the rest is how the prepared our home for the work, movement of the furniture and placing everything back as if they were not there. Absolutely incredible! All the crew was very nice to work with. Matt was great with getting us our quotes. Pedro the owner was very helpful with fixing some ceiling issues. So, our house definitely needed a nice new layer of paint throughout most of the interior, and Campos did a very good job with that. A few days later, though, we were doing laundry, and I noticed lots of hot, heavy air around the dryer. Turns out the extending aluminum duct connection to the dryer vent had not been reattached and part of it had been torn. Pulling the dryer back, there were drips of paint along the shoe molding and on the floor. Overall nice work for the price, especially given the state of our walls, but make sure you are very, very thorough in the post-paint walkthrough. read more
