This is NOT my first rood canal Ive ever had, and I am very familiar with the procedure and outcome of rood canals.. Once the roots are cleaned and the nerves are removed, a rubber substance is then placed in the hollow root stem of the tooth to fill it in.. If there is an air gap of any kind left behind there will be pain of some sort that you will always have. After a year or so of continues pain I went back to see the doctor about why I am having pain all the time and what he is going to do about it. The doctor I was was not the same doctor that did the root canal, and I was told that the pain Im having is from the other teeth that is surrounding the tooth that they worked on! IF YOU REMOVE THE NERVES FROM A TOOTH THERE IS NO FEELING WHAT SO EVER --- IF THERE IS AN AIR POCKET OF ANY SIZE THERE WILL BE CONTINUES PAIN -- PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!!! The doctor hem hawd around for over 30 minutes telling me about my other teeth that have NO PAIN AT ALL and never did, stating that the root on my back molar isn't in good shape and making the one they fixed hurt!! IN MY 40+ YEARS OF GOING TO THE DENTIST AND OVER 12 ROOT CANALS PERFORMED I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ANOTHER TOOTH MAKING A DEAD TOOTH HURT!... I paid $1,500.00 for a FAILED ROOT CANEL That "THEY" wont take care of.. And on top of that (2 Years Later) they left something behind that has NOT GONE AWAY! See Attached Photo of Tooth in question! Look closely and you can see on one of the roots there is an air pocket and something un explained present to this day! Just proof of facts that Dentists are not as Honest and Nice as they claim... One of the teeth that the dentist told me was an issue I had it PULLED OUT and it did nothing to cure the pain I still have today on the tooth they did a root canal on. I made them 1500.00 bucks richer and left me with pain in my mouth 24 hours a day and the only way to get rid of it is to have it Pulled and spend 3,500.00 for an implant! After $1,400.00, and several visits, and his unwillingness to make things right, including recasting and making the correct dentures that I paid for, I went to another dentist and the first thing he said, that they were not right, and would never work, so I spent another $1,400.00 and got a denture that fits. He also has several key talents that are essential to a dentist's or physician's repertoire--being a great listener, and truly compassionate and kind to every patient addressing their needs, fears, and answering questions. His hygienist staff are also excellent--thorough and gentle. If you need a dentist, you'll never do better than Dr. Larsen and his team! P.S. in response to other negative reviews, I have never had any billing issues with this practice and that includes "big ticket items" such as root canals.

I can't speak highly enough of Western Slope Dental Care and Oral Surgery (WSDCOS...I just found…read moreout what that acronym stands for). We recently adopted a ten year old, chonky tuxedo cat who, we knew, was in need of at least some dental work. After the great people at Jean Fromm Veterinary Clinic made sure he was healthy enough for sedation, WSDCOS took a good look at him and found lots of problems. So many problems that we were a bit concerned for his well being given his age and health history. In the end, WSDCOS had to remove 15 teeth, which left us quite concerned for his long term well being. Well, that was a month ago and our cat, Bob, is doing amazing! The oral surgery was an unqualified success! It's only now that we can tell how much discomfort Bob was in before his dental work. He's much more playful (even 'kitten-like'), he likes nose rubs (which is new), and he enjoys cheek and chin scratches, which made him pull away before. It's obvious he's now the the healthiest he's been in literally years. Huge THANK YOU to WSDCOS and Jean Fromm Vet Clinic for taking such great care of our Bob. He now has a lot of healthy, and dental pain free, years ahead of him.

They called me and suggested an almost immediate appt because I expressed there was some pain. When I got there, they were very fast, thorough, didn't try to sneak in any additional work, and they were all very caring. Dr. Kira Funderburk is amazing!! She's personable, explains everything, and does her absolute best to help you. Preslee the Hygienist and Jen (I believe she's an assistant) were both great as well. They were all gentle and explained every step of what was going on. I will definitely make this dental group my go to for all my dental needs.

I thought once he looked at the damage, we would make an appointment later down the road to make the repair, but Dr Davis asked me if I wanted it fixed immediately. I said yes and within 20 minutes I had a completely repaired veneer on my most visible front tooth. Painless and fast......all my favorite goals when visiting the dentist. Dr. Davis's whole team is the best and keep me wanting more. Next time I'm hoping for a nice root canal or a deep gum cleaning. Can't wait. Maybe I'll start flossing.

When I first met Dr. Davis, my current dentist was wanting to pull all of my old fillings and replace them at a wonderful cost to me. Dr. Davis not only shot new X-rays, fixed a hole in the filling my previous dentist had just done, and did a full exam deciding on only needing a small number of fillings, he also worked out a payment plan for me for my co-pay. Dr. Davis also worked with me when my wisdom teeth were pulled by referring me out to a great oral surgeon, but also by doing some in office care so I didn't have togo between the offices. His staff is always friendly, and just amazing. Dr. Davis and his staff make you feel at home as they immediately are using your name as soon as you walk in the office and remember small details about your life (remembered I was leaving for law school, the school I was going to and when I was leaving). Also, their response time through their website is amazing! This is the dentist office that truly cares!

I'd been seeking, but not in earnest, a dentist since I'd moved to GJ 1.5 years ago. When I felt an…read moreodd feeling in my upper left mandible, the search became more serious. I Googled and I Yelped and I found the Dental Associates of Grand Junction. With nary a negative review, I gave them a call. It was Ashley who answered the phone and to whom I described my desire for a good teeth cleaning and also that odd pain and she knew exactly what I needed well before I did. We got a cleaning on the books for a month or so out, but Ashley insisted that if I had a bad tooth she could get me in in no time. Which she did. Two days later I was in the office and Dr Scott confirmed I had a cracked tooth (my first in my nearly 40 years) and if we got it taken care of I might be able to avoid a root canal...which, let me tell ya, was a great relief! A referral to an endodontist, confirmation of the crack and, an actually quite lovely, three hours in *the chair* (replete with panoramic views, bird feeders and myriad bird species) to take my tooth down, build a new one in the basement (that's amazing, amiright??), all while I had a chai and watched the birds and the landscape we all love of Grand Junction. So, thanks Ashley, Dr Scott & all of DAGJ, for taking me in, making me well, cleaning my teeth, being fun and pleasant, and offering an ornithological adventure, too :)

This is an unethical, cruel dentist office. Dr. Carl Feghali and his hygienist Tosha put me under…read moredental gas while I was in for a routine dental cleaning Tosha laid the chair really flat and clipped something to the bib( the gas ) she said well let's do this. I thought that was a weird thing to thought maybe she was just in a bad mood. She then numbed my gums and removed them on one of my molars and Nicked and gouged my gums throughout the rest of my mouth I was semiconscious at one point I was able to move my head. She gouged the gum off the next tooth. I could hear her say I'll just have to numb that some more. I heard her say I won't be complaining about this tooth much longer. At that point, I believe she turned the gas up because the next thing I remember, Carl Feghali is standing over me saying OPEN. He looked around my mouth and said "oh my that looks painful" I can fill that in for you. I imagine he was planning on making it leak so I would be unable to clean and it would rot my tooth. Also, they were using my Night guard to shove my teeth crocket. There's no longer imprints of my teeth inside the night guard. For the last three visits, Tosha would stand in the hall at the end of each six month visit and announce" she wears her night guard every night." Loudly. I thought that was odd behavior. Who would care. I sincerely believe the whole office is in on it. He must give them a bonus if he has a new Invisalign patient. My Night guard would be incredibly loose before my six month cleaning and once they put it through the cleaning machine, it would be tight. I started Lisping I noticed my top front tooth was chipped because my bottom front tooth was shoved forward and my eyetooth is completely sideways . I have to communicate with people for my job. The lisping. People would look at me like I've had a stroke. I'm now in Invisalign with a different dentist. at 65 years old. Oh Dr. Carl Feghali would've straightened them for me. He does Invisalign What a racket. I was pretty scared at this point. I wanted to get out of there and go home and look in the mirror and see what they've done to me.
