I told them what kind of wash I wanted, and he offered inside but I told him no. I don't like strangers in my car so for him to get in and out was fine with me. The attendant directed me inside and I saw that they have an operational restroom along with supplies for your car. The weather matts really come in handy this time of the year. I paid for the wash, left a tip and received a bonus card for a perk at the end of the bonus term. Maybe 10 washes, I just took the card put in my pocket and went on my merry way. The checking-in system was a little confusing since it's not clear where to go or how to put your car on the list. You can either wait outside (there are some camp chairs) or inside in the office upstairs. It was about 30-40 minutes for the car to be taken into the garage and then another 40 minutes for the wash to be completed. The standard package ("Hand Wash Regular") includes outside and inside cleaning and starts at $35 for a small car. You can elect for additional options too, like waxing and leather conditioning.

I had driven by Blues several times & finally one day I stopped there to get some advice. It's a small place but Rob, Bryan & Jefferson are all very nice guys. I set up an appt & Bryan was able to give me a lift home. I planned on leaving my car there for most of the day. At first I was not going to do my interior bc I thought it looked just fine. I take my car to the car wash every couple of weeks & they always vacuum & wipe down inside. However, quite awhile ago, a bottle of Champagne had exploded while packed in the back compartment of my car. I thoroughly cleaned it up or so I thought! Bryan showed me a picture of the back of my second seats. Needless to say, they did do a magnificent job on the interior too! I didn't take a pic bc I was busy that evening & of course the next day, the pollen had already settled all over the exterior. But they did a great job for a fair price!

But one day I was passing by Hicksville and saw this handwashing location. I decided to give it a try. Now I've been to some very reputable handwash places. Blues is definitely one of them. He takes his time and he cares. So I decided to get my car ceramic coated. I did go ask couple of places but none of them gave me the reassurance I was looking for. Keep in mind you don't want to mess this up since it is a semi permanent product. He took care of my car, all the swirls, took his time. He even did my calipers, exhaust tips, wheels. Overall the experience was amazing. I will recommend to anyone who is looking for a honest detailer who will put in that effort for your car.
