Came in town to visit my son who attends college in Abilene and stayed this summer for an internship...so I took him out for the day with his sisters. There isn't much to do here so we opted to bowl. This place has a variety of things to partake in and the staff are friendly. However, my family loves bowling and it was disappointing that we had to get someone to help us multiple times throughout our game. The bowling balls kept gettin stuck and at one point we had no balls nor did the people in the lane next to us. Another couple of times the lane just took all the pins when we never even threw a ball down or if we knocked down a few it would take them all. We still managed to have fun but it was quite annoying to not be able to finish a game without having to get assistance and then request for time to be added due to waiting for help. The out door go carts are horrible. I took my kids to race with them and my son's cart got stuck in middle of the race track and the dude just looked at him and didn't even care. Everyone just passed him. The when it ended didn't offer him a second go or anything. Super wack track. read more

Prime time is a great place that is just perfect for a family with lots of kids it has amazing go karts!! All the people are really kind!! The workers are very kind and work hard. The lines were a bit long but not like a lot of other places. I would give this a 5 star but the prices are outrageous! They are like 53 dollars for premium and for regular is like 40 dollars!! Great place for the kiddos. It doesn't take much for them to be happy. They don't get into our finances so they had no idea how much it even cost us to do the unlimited. And they know better than to tell us something sucked when they know how hard we work. They were just so happy to be able to get out of the hotel. And frankly. So was I. Yes. It's a bit pricey. The games especially were a bit much. But honestly, no more than peter pipers or Incredible Pizza Company. The food was honestly pretty good. The young lady running the food section was magnificent with my younglings!!!! She was patient and smiled at them the entire time. Thank you for just that alone!!! Had absolutely the worst experience I've ever had. First off, curiocity was completely destroyed. I get it , it's a kids area and doesn't stay nice long but there was almost nobody there and it was an absolute mess. Not to mention the grime all over the place and how disgusting the floors and equipment were. We then proceeded to the arcade where you can not use a card to purchase a game card. You have to either have cash or go over to the main desk and ask for card there. Not a huge deal. But why even do all that? Because about half of the games in the arcade are out of order. The staff is all young and don't care they just stand around and do nothing. Overpriced, no arcade games, poor service, no hygiene standards, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. read more

I was really excited to check the is place out, and I love the idea of their PrimeTime lounge area for board games, pool, darts, retro games, etc. a brilliant idea, but not executed well. Paid for an unlimited play pass to the retro arcade only to walk back there and easily 50% of the games are dark, completely inoperable. The ones remaining, easily a third of those had bad buttons, joy sticks not working in certain direction, punch out cabinet's graphic's malfunctioning...it was a joke. Only one pool table open, darts and board games not available. The group I was with liked a few of their other attractions so that's where they salvaged two stars from me. The first time I went here was for an all day training in one of the private rooms. It was during the day during a work week and all the kids are in school so of course it was empty. It was a great opportunity for us to see what they had to offer without fighting crowds. I was impressed and excited to go back. One of my best friends live in Abilene so we went on a busy Saturday and had a blast. We were probably one of the few adults there without children and we still had fun. We played arcade games and rode on the bumper cars. We had so much fun. When the weather is nicer we plan on going on the go karts and playing miniature golf. Why not? Personally I think the prices are reasonable compared to other places like this that I've been to across the country. The customer service could be better with a lot of the younger employees that work there but it wasn't too bad in our opinion considering all the craziness that was happening. read more

Very poor customer service and misleading cashiers. We pre-paid for 3 games of bowling, halfway thru the 2nd game they cut us off. Told us we paid for a game and a half for each person. This place was a total joke. My 9 year old was looking forward to coming back to Abilene solely for PrimeTime. And to quote him "That was disappointing". Understatement of his life. On the bright side my 4 and 6 year old loved it, but of course they like spinning in circles til they almost throw up. Every time we visit it's a must to go here but it's been a few years, and apparently that's the last time some of the games have been working. And I can say without a doubt we will not be back. All we did was the arcade, so my review is based only on that waste of money and space. How do I start, I bought 3 cards(50/25/25) they had to be replaced, because (big surprise) the cards don't work either. The games were garbage, falling apart, not working. Three of them rebooted on us mid-play. Tickets were out in majority of the games. Desperate to get out of there and needing to waste money fast we swiped on the $12 guaranteed win claw game. Played that for at least 30 minutes, grabbed the same horse 3 times for It to be held hostage for 10 seconds just to open up and drop It back in the exact slot I grabbed It from. This in and of itself was a miracle since the controller was broke and It took 3 Hail Marys and 1 our father just to do that. Finally by the grace of your chosen supreme being, a unicorn accidentally fell in the prize slot. So ready to leave we gave our 400+ tickets to some other poor saps who fell for the BS and told my kids we'd go to target for toys. But not to be totally negative at least It wasn't packed. On spring break. That should say plenty. I would pass on Way Past It's Primetime. read more

Four of us stopped in for an afternoon of fun, and had a great time! I had found a coupon online when browsing the Abilene visitor's website. It was a tremendous value! I hear they offer specials of all kinds all week long and even the last Sunday of the month have a special for Family's at the Dyess Air Force Base. I LOVE to support businesses that support the military! We started off playing a few rounds in the batting cages. I haven't done that since I was kid and it was fun! Having not been to a batting cage in forever I can't say if this one was unique but I was happy I could choose softball or hardball and then the speed of the pitches. We played a game of bowling. There are only 16 lanes which makes this a more intimate and less loud of an affair than a super big bowling alley. There were several birthday parties going on and room for plenty more. Next we queued up for a game of lazer tag. I was impressed. A two story maze with plenty of hiding places and cut outs, lots of glow in the dark accents and ramps, its quite a great layout. The game was supposed to last 5:00 minutes, but they let us play for 7:30 which was also really great. Thanks management! A large pizza and four sodas got us ready for a stint in the arcade. The pizza was no great shakes, and yes, it was greasy, but this isn't a gourmet restaurant so it's not like our expectations were dashed. The soda was ice cold. The arcade wasn't very big, but we still found fun things to entertain us. I looked around for whack-a-mole but didn't find one. Instead they had this neat platform where up to two players could swat at lights as they lit up. That was much more intense and fun. We played several rounds until we were all laughing and breathless! We won the 200 ticket jackpot on Deal or No Deal. We played skee-ball and air hockey and many others. We spent several hours here and had a truly great time. We didn't even touch the bumper cars, the Nascar simulator cars (those looked really fun!), the minigolf course or the go karts.... guess we have reasons to come back! read more

All they wanted to do was play the games to get tickets to purchase the prizes which are cheap and completely not worth anything. But I did expect this experience because that's what these places are. However, I had to constantly find someone to let us play laser tag or do bumper cars or get into the theater. There were 4 staff members behind the counter at front desk laughing and on their phones. We went on a Monday. It wasn't busy. Very disappointing. A shining light was the guys at the go karts. I'm going to go ahead and rate this place a 4/5. I went for a visit with some of my co-workers to see how Primetime runs their establishment. I don't want to give any of their business secrets away, but I do have a few compliments. There's plenty to do for everyone. Everything is new and bright and fun. The pizza is not bad; in fact, it's just as good as some chain pizzas. There's a large conference area too that many people don't know about, and you can have very large, catered gatherings there.
