The rooms are unbelievably disgusting! We walk into our room to be greeted by a placker tooth pick/floss laying in the middle of the floor. The bed sheets are stained and don't appear to have been changed. There is what appears to be a cum stain on the floor next to the bed. The walls are lined with dust, the tub has hair in it, the toilet is half broken and dirty, looks like someone tried to kick the bathroom door in....... NASTY!!!!!! This place sucks! Front desk staff are not friendly! I had to ask where my room was located and she just pointed over there! The hallways were filthy, trash all over! Piles of towels and sheets all down the hallways and was still there the next day! Get to my room the floors were dirty, no toilet paper on the roll, hair around the base of the toilet! The room smelled and the ac didn't work on low, asked for another room and they wouldn't do it, they would only send housekeeping. The next morning I went to the front desk and told them I wasn't staying another night and wanted a refund for my 2nd night, she said I need to talk to the manager and she wouldn't be in until 9 am, I left and called after 9 talked to an operator and they transferred me to the manager and had to leave a message that was Saturday and today is Tuesday and still not call back from the manager! This place is NOT a resort, disgusting and filthy! Do not not waste your money here! I think the owner really needs to reevaluate the manager and find someone that can do their job and knows how to run a hotel! read more

I would give 0 Stars If I could when discussing this property when speaking about the hundreds and hundreds of cockroaches we saw last night when we left the casino and went to our car. The outside of the casino was overrun with cockroaches and I only wish we had seen them before we spent time there and ate at the restaurant. We discussed the problem with Cockroaches with some of the managers and were informed that the exterminators come; however it is difficult to control the outside of the hotel because they are in the desert. We stayed at Bellagio, Caesars, M Resort and Casino and Tropicana and there were no cockroaches to be seen on the inside or outside of the properties. We only stopped there so we could break up the trip back home and will never do so again. In addition to the Cockroaches and the dirty carpet and the fact that they don't clean the rooms, the elevators look like they haven't been cleaned in years. We ate at the cafe and when we attempted to use our 25% discount on food, the hostess accused of cheating and said we weren't entitled to the 25% discount and accused us of lying. It was insane and we felt as if we were in the Twilight Zone and couldn't believe she was accusing us of theft. The hostess insulted my husband and my brother-in-law and it took intervention from the beverage manager to resolve the issue; however it took almost an hour to get everything sorted out. This is unfortunate because the food was excellent, the service from Jojo, Robert Vance and Ricki was excellent; Etta the assistant manager was fabulous. Alex who works at the front desk was also fabulous. Justin at the front desk was superb at customer service however there is nothing that could be done to ever convince me to go anywhere near the Primm Casino. I cannot believe that an establishment should be so filthy and have such a huge cockroach population and simply say it's tough to get rid of cockroaches because they're in the desert. Primm Valley Resort. This was the worst Hotel/Casino I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at a lot. The rooms were filthy. They did not clean them at all And when they did come to clean they didn't vacuum or clean the bathroom. I don't think they even change the sheets on the bed. Matter of fact I am pretty sure. I came back to my room and notice the toilet wasn't cleaned. The carpet is filthy. Unbelievable. Dear Management , you need to get this place together. It is sad to see that the whole Primm complex is in serious decline. Although it is clean and the facilities are in reasonable shape, all the attractions are now closed and almost all of the food outlets are closed or gone (at least during the week). The outlets only have about 25% of the stores. Many of the slot machines are gone. Neat monorail is shut down. They now have a policy of not making up the rooms and giving you a $5 one time food credit instead. You can waive this if you call housekeeping everyday. The whole area is now mostly a travel pit stop. Too bad, it had such promise at one time. We used to go quite often. No more. read more

We came here to get a good night sleep. They gave us a room in the very back of the hotel, a very, very long walk I might add. Our room had no chair at the desk. The bathroom had no wash cloths. I called the front desk to get wash cloths. They told me I had to go to the front desk to get them. No w, keep in mind that their housekeepers never put them in this room to start with and now I have to walk that very very long walk to get them. Their customer service is the worst. Where do I start? I understand that Covid has changed things. Hotels and their accommodations, services, restaurants open, etc. However, when an entity boasts about their product, one would expect MORE. We were on the way home from Utah, exhausted, when the traffic became unbearable. We had the choice between staying in Vegas at a WONDERFUL hotel with many options for dinner(11 restaurants all open for take out or eat in) or one closer to home(San Diego). We checked on expedia, booking.com and their own websites to obtain the best last minute price. The Vegas one was only $10 more. BOY were we wrong with our choice. We only saved 45 minutes in drive time and had the worst time at Primm. First, it was impossible to find the entry to the hotel- the doors to the casino were BLACK so we figured that part was closed. It took us another 15 minutes to find someone (8:45 PM) outside to ask where the hell do you check in! When we were directed to those blackened doors, we parked in the front of them awaiting our room key. OMG 20 minutes later my husband came out only to tell me they would only give us the room with my AAA card or charge us another $51(I held the card, he did not and they did not trust him that it was ours!) It is now 9:00PM. We had not eaten since leaving Utah and needed nourishment. Luckily we had our own water! We entered through the smelly, dirty, ugly casino only to find that the 2 restaurants we would have eaten at were not open due to COVID. The only 2 left were a pizza kiosk and an old school restaurant"Primmand proper. What a laugh! We had to wait another 35 minutes in line (probably due to Covid), sat down and in 12 minutes no one even came to give us water. WE LEFT. We went over to the pizza kiosk and asked for a whole pizza to take to our room and relax. WE ordered, paid and were told in 30-45 minutes return for it. We did. Guess what? The server said she was overwhelmed and could not or forgot to make it! It is now 10PM and we were not happy. I saw where her problem was. The stacks of crusts were frozen together, could not get them out. What a hoot watching the manager from P and P trying to get that crust off of the stack. Finally got the pizza at 10:30PM. Shoved it in and watched TV in our room that had someone else's hair on the bathroom door, poop under the toilet seat rim, tissues left on the bathroom counter, no coffee maker, no coffee anywhere as the bar did not have any made and I would not wait another minute for anything in this run down disgusting hole. read more

I did not know that $2 craps tables existed until I stopped by Primm Valley Resort and Casino. Just for that, I'm going to give it three stars, because everything else including the decor and smokey atmosphere was just a turn off. I stopped here with my Tour Group while they were shopping at the Fashion Outlets, which directly connects to it. The casino here was small, but have the usual slots and tables games that you can find anywhere else. After my experience here though, I think you're much better off just heading down 25 more miles to Las Vegas and experiencing the real gambling night life. $5 Craps table is the bare minimum for me now. $2 is just too little... lol. read more

We have stayed here twice. The first time, 4 years ago, it was much better. I realize that Covid has affected every business as far as staffing, but this place is foul, as in dirty and run down The shops were closed and there was only one choice for food. The hallway carpet is disgustingly dirty and stained. The chairs at the bar in the casino were cracked, split open with stuffing falling out. The best worst part was our dirty shower pan. It should have been white, but it was gray and complete with pubic hairs from the previous guest! . The first room they gave us hadn't even been cleaned yet so we had to return to the front desk as they could not meet us with a key for a new room. Had we not been in the car for 13 hours and were completely exhausted, we wouldn't have run out screaming! We couldn't wait to check out the next morning and get the heck outta Dodge! Maybe it was my bad, but I missed the exit to enter this place and ended up driving 7 miles down the I15 before could make a Uturn. Seems like a nice place by first look. Not real good directions on wall to say where your room is after getting off the elevator. Ended up almost walking the entire loop shape floor before getting to my room. Only to find out if I went the other way is be there. Nice view of the pool out the window. It's night and I just got in so I'd probably make another review tomorrow or before I leave. read more

I thought the emloyees were nice. The restaurant manager was a nice guy. He's working 12 hour days (salary) which is just horrendous working condition.... badly understaffed. Hotel is worst than Motel 6 room wasn't really cleaned as it should. Food was ok at the only place open inside kinda pricey. Machines didn't pay either. I actually stayed in one of the other properties Buffalo Bills hotel and casino that had just opened this place place was absolutely disgustingly dirty very unsanitary the rooms we're not organized things weren't working vents from the air conditioner we're hanging off it's spelled like mold there was urine in every elevator And it really looked like there were homeless in the hotel it was just an awful experience 1/2 of the games on the floor the slot machines did not work you stayed in line for 2 and a 1/2 hours to get a room that I already reserved a week prior And also are cards to get in the door to our room did not work the only restaurant that was open was Denny's which was awful burnt food burnt even coffee if you can imagine burnt coffee it was awful they only offered me a 20% discount I think they should have paid for the whole room because it was just the worst experience I ever had and I will never ever go back. read more

This was not a casino stop for us but a necessary sleep stop on our road trip through California because there aren't many hotel options between Palm Springs and Death Valley. The price is unbeatable! As anywhere in Nevada, you'll be greeted by the cigarette smoke when you enter the building. Thankfully we couldn't smell it once in our room. The room was big and upgraded. There's no breakfast included at this price but there's a restaurant inside the resort. Some of the restaurants only open a few days a week (such as the buffet). The hotel connects to the casino and to the outlet mall. read more

You know that thing where something happens and happens and keeps happening and finally it was just funny? 1 owner, 2 hotels, 3 dirty rooms, 1 random stranger hat, an estimated 10 filthy towels and trash we're blessed upon us. We checked in here on December 26th 2017. We were assigned a room and given vague instructions. We walked towards that way and when we got to our room it was blocked off, under construction. Dust galore. Rooms open and being worked on. So we went back to the check in counter and the little girl there told us that we could walk outside, through muddy grass, into a building and down the hall, sounds fun huh? Just wait! Finally reached the room, walked in and not only was it dusty and smelt rather gross but none of the lights worked. As we are rather intelligent people we saw the lights were unplugged so we plugged them in. The lights still didn't work. So we trekked through the mud to the main casino where we were assigned another room by the supervisor. No apologies or "sorry for the problem!" We instead we're told "Well this room is just as far!" Pretty excited to sit down after this long days journey we found our second room. Only to be greeted by a discolored, filthy hat sitting in the middle of the floor. Call me crazy but if you can't pick up a dirty hat can you really clean a room? So we requested once again to be moved, this time to Buffalo bills. We were given no instructions, I wasn't apologized to and I was hung up on by the manager no less. So we drove over to buffalo bills where we checked in. We were Informed that we needed a piece of paper that primm valley never gave us but the manager assigned us a room anyways. We walked to our new room in our new hotel where we found a completely filthy room. Towels on the floor, bed slept in, bathroom used. Now upon our 4th room we are finally in a room with lights that work, no random stranger hats and what appears to be a clean room. No apologies. No "Sorry you had to walk a total of 2 miles and go into 4 rooms to find a clean one!" No "here is a voucher for some free food or a free stay!" Here's a few pictures of our filthy, used room that was deemed acceptable! I would avoid this place at all costs. The evening staff is incompetent and rude. First of all - this is a 24hr max stop - but if you want to go be silly for some cheap drinks, decent shopping and a suprisingly nice spa - this is your stop - I only stay at the Prima Donna - but supposedly all 3 properties got furniture from a bankruptcy sale of another hotel chain - a bit odd to see the very modern pieces at this property - but comfy beds - Its trashy, tacky, smoky - but damn, that roller coaster is fun! read more

These properties need to be owned and operated by the EMPLOYEES and PATRONS...Many years ago this was the place to be and the place to work. Both employees and patrons were treated with RESPECT and DIGNITY.....Now they are treated like dirt. My family and I have been coming here since the early 1990's. You had employees who loved their jobs and the same people who came back time and time again. Everybody knew everybody because it was the same people who came back time and time again. The Stage Bar at Buffalo Bills was filled with people looking forward to seeing each other because it was the place to be to be with the people you had fun with. Like spending time with close family on the weekends. It has gone the way of corporate America. GREED, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, employees who have been there for many many years and are treated like new hires and are not respected. This is not hearsay, we've seen it first hand. Bring back the good concerts, like those posted on the walls near the box office. Start caring about what goes on here instead of running this place further iinto the ground. Hire managers that know something about the business and not because they have a piece of paper that says, look at me I have a degree. It was brought to our attention that they have hired a new marketing manager from the outside instead of someone who has worked there for years and has been doing the job on a temporary basis. They need to hire people from within who are very deserving of jobs Clean the place up. Get the rides working , fix the singing cowboys at the Tree Bar. If I could give a zero stars I would. Also wish I would have checked this Yelp listing prior to making reservations and maybe we could have avoided the horrible experiences we had. To top it all off when the issues were brought to the front desk managers attention, he didn't think much of them, and stated there was no need for compensation. I told him we would not be giving them are future business and he was okay with that too. Dont be fooled by Primm Resort appearing to be the classier option out of the three hotels there. Looks can be deceiving. Also, all 3 are rn by the same company. Yikes. So they have the monopoly in town and dont really care about their guests because they know if you stop in Primm you will be staying at one of their places no matter what. Bad vibes. Checked in at midnight after driving for 5 to 6 hours. We were given a room it seemed 3 miles down a hall by an exit door to the outside that was broken. No key needed to enter the hotel hallway. Room was badly lit and dingy. We had to crawl under the table to plug in lamps. Furniture in room was very old and stained. Garbage can full from previous occupant. Bed was ok. So tired I went straight to bed. In the morning I discovered the tub was dirty. A dirty towel had been left behind main door fr previous people. Tub needed a scrub. Toilet overflowed onto the floor as we were leaving. I called the front desk to let them know everything. She apologized and said a note will be made on my acct. Just gross. Sheets need bleaching and hair found on pillow case when I entered the room. I do not recommend. read more

Can I give zero stars? Negative stars? This place is a complete abomination. We're staying at this "resort" & casino for one night. My 86-year-old grandmother needs a handicap accessible room. Naturally, over two months ago we booked the room with two queen beds and handicap accessibility. When we arrived to the casino we were greeted by John, a front desk clerk. John quickly let us know that our "request" could not be filled. Apparently John doesn't understand the difference between a "request" and a "reservation." We informed John that we needed the handicap room that we booked over two months ago due to a 86-year-old's needs. We might as well have asked John how the Dodgers game was going because he couldn't have gave a shit about this. He continued to say our "request" couldn't be met because the rooms were taken. I'm pretty sure the point of a reservation is to hold the room for the guests? Ensure it is clean? John then told us he'd speak to his Supervisor. John walked about 10 yards east to his "Supervisor," a man wearing a blackish-gray shirt as opposed to John's maroon vest. John returned and stated that there was nothing he could do. Apparently John's is as inept as he is and lacks any sort of empathy for the elderly. Long story short, my grandmother said she would try the non-handicap room as long as it wasn't a very far walk (she has to use a walker or a wheelchair). This would mean she wouldn't be able to shower and would have difficultly using the restroom, but this clearly wasn't a concern to this establishment. John ensured us that it wasn't a far walk and it was actually closer than the rooms we would have gotten had our reserva... request been fulfilled. What ensued was probably a 300-yard walk to our room. We might as well be in the fucking attic. The rooms start at 1100, we are in Room 1198. I honestly believe this fucking guy John put us in the furthest possible room in terms of walking distance. My grandmother barely made it to the room and I am honestly concerned about her health after that absurd walk. As if things couldn't get worse, the room is fucking disgusting. There is toilet paper and possible shit (I'm not going to investigate further) in the goddamn toilet. The carpet hasn't been vacuumed in at least a few days. The countertops are dirty as hell. The fucking curtain is about to fall off. I can furnish photos upon request as I took several on my phone to show the manager tomorrow (hopefully he gives a shit - unlike John and John's Supervisor. Honestly, I haven't drafted very many Yelp reviews. I'm pretty easy going and I consider myself a nice guy for the most part, but this was beyond anything I've ever experienced. John is one of the shittiest human beings I've ever had the displeasure of meeting and I truly hope he is held accountable for his lack of professionalism, his dishonesty and his general shit attitude towards my family and I. Please! Dear, God, Please! Do yourselves a favor and stay at Whiskey Pete's or Buffalo Bill's if you must stay at state line for a night or two.
