Everyone's favorite desert pit stop. Primm Valley is back to being fully operational. With the recent closures of Whiskey Pete's and Buffalo Bills. Primm Valley is your only option for last minute gambling, restrooms , and gas. I haven't stayed here in years, but I don't remember having any problems with the rooms. I did see a sign in the casino that they recently renovated the rooms here. They have the Bonnie and Clyde car back, which I never get sick of seeing. The casino floor looked pretty lively, but they don't have table games, which is a bummer. At the end of the day, take it for what it is. A place to stretch. Get some fuel. Grab a quick bite. Maybe a little slot play. The interior was fresh looking and it's still free parking . They also have plenty of electric charging stations in the parking lot .

The worst employees I ever had, brought food 50 minutes late, burger bun was hard and lettuce wilted, shrugged when told. One woman just stood there. 6.95 beer and burger needs to be reevaluate. Keep driving. Oh yeah, there was a bug in our water

So this is t a 1 star because the location is convenient for staying is you are going to a concert or show at buffalo bills, however I'm almost positive someone was k!lled in this room by all the blood I noticed the next morning on the base of the 2 Queen beds and the side table in between them. The carpets weren't vacuumed and are very caked up, stains on everything, torn drapes

A lot going on in this casino currently remodeling. The mall is closed due to its remote location. Located on the 15 between LA and Las Vegas. Current room rate it $100 a night.

Banda MS's performance brought the crowd to its feet playing many of their most popular songs. It was definitely a party like atmosphere as confetti and balloons were scattered amongst the crowd. The band sounded and looked great as they entertained for close to two hours. Their enthusiasm and interaction with the crowd was great. They even welcomed a couple on stage for all to witness a marriage proposal. For this being my first Banda Music concert, I must say I throughly enjoyed it.

    Roller coaster

I would give zero stars if I could. We stopped here for a reasonably priced motel on our way to LA from Montana. The shower didn't look like it had ever been cleaned and the carpet creeped us out, but the towels and sheets were clean, I think. The only place to eat in the entire town is McDonald's, unless you want a hot dog or pizza by the slice in the casino. I saw no security around the hotel and anyone could come and go in and out the many doors to the parking lots. I honestly was glad to see our vehicle, unscathed, still in the parking lot in the morning. It looks like the whole place is about to go bankrupt with closed casinos, restaurants, and hotels.....and I'm assuming the roller coaster isn't open either. lol Somehow God took pity on us and there was a decent Starbucks at the gas station so we could caffeinate enough to get the heck out of town!

My Room with a view..This place should be destroyed and someone with real money should rebuild.

    What time is check-in?

It is 3:00pm. However if you are nice they let you check in early.

    So it's closed or open?

Currently, open. Whiskey Pete's is temporarily closed.

Did they close this casino down? A friend said it was closed, they were there a few weeks ago

We were up there in June and the Casino was still open. There were only a few stores left in the adjoining outlet center though. The casino was fairly empty as well (only a few cars in the parking lot and inside playing the machines).

Are table games staffed and open at any of the Primm stateline casinos?

Yes! The Primm location has table games. Whiskey Pete's did not.

    Is the pool open already?

I go to Primm often (whenever I don't feel like driving to Laughlin) and am surprised by so many negative comments. Sorry, I can't answer about the pool, but all of the casino-hotels are nice places to play and stay....There's trash in the hallways… Read more

I visited in June 2025 to see the Latin Legends IX concert and it was amazing! It's a large venue with a lot of seating that is very spaced out. I felt so comfortable and was able to move freely and dance! (There weren't people behind me, so I was good). :) Getting through their security set-up was a breeze, and there is a huge bar area outside the venue where most everyone was pre-gaming before entering. The staff I interacted with were friendly and polite. I booked my tickets seamlessly on Ticketmaster. I'd recommend getting on their email blast so you can check out their next concerts. I paid 100% in advance. I was picked up by the airport nearly one hour late. When the driver, Taylor, got out of the car a huge cloud of marijuana smoke came out with him. It wasn't a limo or town car but an older model, dirty Mercedes - perhaps 15 years old, very small with a tiny backseat. There barely any room for my carryon bag in his trunk - and I had to cram into the back seat because he had a dog in the front seat with him. Taylor was pretty spaced out and had trouble finding my hotel, the Vdarra. He was also unfamiliar with other Vegas landmarks - like the Aria, the Bellagio, Park MGM. I had to pull out my phone to help him navigate to my hotel. He apologized for being late and not having a town car or limo - but he said the limo had been locked up or repo'd and Peter was working to get it out. I was really worried that he lacked the competence to pick me up for the game - so after confirming he was the driver for the next day, I showed him that he should pick me up at the exact same spot he dropped me off at - and I explained it was critical that he wasn't late. I also reminded him a friend would be joining me, so we would need a bigger car or at least the front seat free of his dog. Taylor no-showed the next day of course. We called, texted, yelp-messaged and availed ourselves of every contact number we had. No one answered. No one came. After about 75 minutes of this we took a taxi. About 3 hours later, Taylor texted and said he was sorry - he didn't realize his phone was on vibrate and missed all of our texts and phone calls. He claimed he was there the whole time, however (he absolutely wasn't). Peter also yelp-messaged about the same time saying "Let me try!" and nothing more. He refused my requests to call me. After the game, surprise-surprise, they no-showed again. We waited about an hour and a half in the designated meeting spot with no response to phone calls or texts. Eventually, found a free driver to take us back to the hotel for $100. And again, with no surprise, they no-showed the pre-booked trip to the airport. Still no call or contact from Peter and team. While their rate was very competitive, this company is a clown act. If you must book them, absolutely do not pay in advance and I would never, ever, trust them with anything important.

While it's at the far end of the strip just past Resort's World, it's not too far from downtown Vegas so it works out nicely if you plan to spend time in both areas. Although we didn't make use of them, the nearby monorail takes you to the center strip and the Tesla Tunnel can get you over to the Wynn which saves you about 20-25 minutes of walking. Parking is free as long as you sign up for their free rewards program. The resort itself is gorgeous and you could truly just spend your time in Vegas here without going to other resorts. My main requirement when searching for a hotel was a nice pool, as I wanted to lay out and enjoy the Vegas heat. Including the dayclub Liv, there are 7 pools here. 3 massive pools make up the majority of the area, with 2 adults only pools and one smaller pool tucked away. There's a bar in the center and waitresses that come around to take your food and drink orders. The chairs did get packed but we were always able to find 2 seats together. Don't always expect to be able to get an umbrella though. Upon checking in, the front desk staff was so friendly. The woman who checked me in, I believe her name was Gabby, made me feel extra special because I was visiting for my birthday. Everything about the decor of this hotel is high end. They have some amazing restaurants as well as a food court. I wish the food court had a few more casual options, but we opted for a chicken sandwich that was pretty delicious. We stayed in a Noble Suite which was extremely spacious with a full living room, bar area, large restroom, second smaller bathroom, and comfortable bed. We had a stunning view overlooking the strip, Sphere and pool and each element of the room felt luxurious. Keep an eye out for when they offer deals, because you can grab some pretty good rates.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas is technically on the Strip, but it does not feel like it at all, and that is exactly why I would absolutely stay here. It is quieter, cleaner, newer, and far less chaotic than the core Strip hotels. You do not get that constant overload of noise and traffic, and the entire property feels more controlled and elevated. It almost feels like it sits off the Strip even though it does not, which is a major advantage. The high end shops are a nice touch, although realistically most people are not walking in there to spend money, especially at places like Rick Owens. The food options, however, are surprisingly reasonable for a hotel of this level, with plenty of choices, and LIV is a strong draw since it is one of the top clubs in Las Vegas right now. This Fontainebleau does not feel anything like the Miami version, but if you are craving that energy you can always grab a slice at Miami Slice and call it a day. Room pricing is more approachable than expected, with nights ranging roughly from $120 to $300 depending on timing. Just keep in mind the resort fee runs about $62 per night, so a $120 room is really closer to $180 all in, which is still a very solid value for a newer luxury hotel in Las Vegas. My number one is still the Wynn, but this comes in strong at number two without question.
