We stopped to get pizza inside the casino. The website said it was open until 12am. We arrived at 11:30pm and it was already closed.

First things first, I heard that the Bonnie and Clyde death car was at the Primm Valley Resort, well WAS is right. it has been for show in the Primm area since 1988 but not anymore. when i stopped on my way to Vegas on 12/18/2010 they said it was moved to their Reno location a few months ago, bummer! As for the rest of the casino it was clean not too bad looking just old timey. (Compared to Gold Strike in Jean this place it the Ritz). Friendly staff, good drinks. The Outlet Mall is the real gem, It was actually a pretty nice outlet mall. They have a Hollister outlet store in there which is cool I've never seen one before, Tommy Bahama outlet, Coach ect. read more

I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. This is the worst hotel that I have ever seen. Was going to a concert at Buffalo Bills n they were fully booked, so decided to stay across the street at the Primm. Walked into the room and wondered how they were still in business. The hallway was dirty, the rooms are old and outdated. Furniture has scratches on it, and the bathroom is horrible. I slept on top of the bed with my clothes on. Housekeeping came in and put towels n the bathroom but left all the dirty ones on the floor. This place should be shut down. read more

Checked in late with no problems. Friendly staff. The room was cheap on a Monday night only $65 with two beds. The room was clean and in order. Kid loved the pool. Valet helped with the bags and I had to stop him to give him a tip. read more

Took my husband here to gamble, which I must say we drove 110 miles out of our way to go to Stateline, for nothing. We walked in with a set amount of money to gamble, we go on slots, sat and we dropped 120 bucks in an hour and not one drink. Never saw a girl nothing. If I'm gonna sit in your casino whose slots are terrible then at least bring drinks to people. Saw one girl as we walked out. As we said we will go to Laughlin next time. I think your owners are cheap. Hello I gambled in Laughlin two weeks ago and dropped 300 bucks and won it back and ate for free and got drinks while I sat at their machines. I recently stayed in this hotel and have many other times , I was appalled of how dirty it is and trash everywhere , i checked in and they informed us their will no one to clean room and if we need anything we need to call room service , we ran out of clean towels requested some and they never came , then i seen they lady that cleans rooms and asked her if i can have some towels and she replied need to call , finally after 2 hours waiting finally got some clean towels and toilet paper this is ridiculous . I am very dissapointed then on 05/27/2019 fire alarm went off scared the hell out of me and no one from the staff came and gave us an explanitation of what was going on the staff look like they were lost. This place is going down hill so fast not worth nothing anymore will never stay here again ever. read more

This review is only for the buffet. Needless to say, I was not happy to hear that this is were we would be eating on the way out of town - why eat here when you can eat in Vegas? Regardless, the buffet is terrible. Disgusting in fact. Everything was either frozen or overcooked. It smelled like seafood and rank "prime" rib. Everything tastes the same. I give 2 stars, because everything was ok. Granted original house of pancakes was great. But the bartender (dave) is a dick. He ignored me twice while serving my cousin. Now my aunt went and asked him what was up. He said that he wouldnt give me a drink due to the fact i was on the phone and not gambling. Now if he would have told me this i would have paid for my drink. But he did not. And when i took my tip out of the glass he decided to make a loud statement to the other bartender that i took my tip out of the glass for him ignoring me. read more

Great place to stop and refuel on your way back to SoCal. But this stop is so crowded... hence the one star.

I'm giving it a one star because that's the least available. The room needed major upgrades. We felt like we were back in the 70's. The furniture was old and damaged, the bathroom was not clean, the carpet was awful and not vacuumed. The doors and walls were damaged throughout the place. The buffet was the worst we ever ate at. The room rate was outrageous with no amenities. Don't stay here. read more

This hotel looked appealing from the outside but once checking in the floor creaked every step to out room. Upon entering our room we were welcomed by a cockroach climbing the wall next to us. The bathroom smelled awful and we got no sleep on a firm mattress. The walking of both people above us and in the hall was incredibly loud. This hotel needs some serious updating and TLC 54$ is affordable but so not worth it! read more

my mom just randomly picked this hotel for us to stay at without reading the reviews. when I read the reviews all I seen was "theres no a/c!!" "there is blood all over the walls" and so on. It was difficult to breath due to everyone smoking I almost died. I loved the pool even though it was super packed which I wasnt surprised because it was 110 degrees. when we got our hotel room I didn't notice anything wrong I mean you get what you pay for don't expect HIGH quality if all you spend it $100 for the night. But I was expecting major terrible quality. like roaches or the sealing rotting. Staff was super nice, they saw we had kids and made great recommendations on where to take them and asked us if we needed anything. we had great signal for wifi and the AC made the room super cold. everything was fine AGAIN don't expect a 5 star hotel if you're gonna spend only $100-200 Im not gonna lie I had my doubts but still had a great time. there was a huge storm that night and no places to eat late we were so devastated and then I seen they had a pizza join down stairs SUPER PRICEY but me and my mom split the bill. not expecting much when we got back to the hotel that pizza was the best pizza ever!! ugh over all I give them a 5 for there standards weren't that bad. read more

The Sunday buffet is roughly $17.00. Very minimal basic selection. Food on old steam tables poorly heated. Salad was brown, carrots old and dry, many items looked several days old. Late entry: Stayed 11/08/18. Haven't stayed here yet so we thought we'd give it a go. The photo on the site showed beautiful new rooms. Checking in at 11pm they stuck us in the very back of the hotel after a long drive. Opened the room to find the worst room I ever stayed in - dust on furniture(some kind of white stuff on headboard on second bed), didn't look like carpet was vacuumed(kept shoes on), and a bit musty so we turn on the air. The sheets and towels were clean so I decided to just go with it as I was too tired. Get up to take a shower and the sink and tub backed up - how disgusting. I went up to tell them about all these issue and they only gave me my resort fee back. The room should have been comped at this point. I request for Management but no one there. They provided me # to call - never a return call after multiple attempts. I don't suggest to ever staying here! read more

It was okay staying here. Old skweeky floors in the halls and not enough insulation to keep the nirghboring sound out. My room was on the opposite side of the entire Resort. So the walk to the Pancake House or the Casino was really far, kinda awkward. Old elevators and lots of stairs. No Latch on the room door, only one lock for safety. If your tall, Goodluck showing! This is a really old hotel so i expected some problems but there was really bad. The whole place does smell like smoke even in the non-smoking areas. The drawer in our room wad no knob and not enough shampoo. The restaurant, The Original Pancake House, had really slow service. We waited over half an hour for our food, but the staff was really nice and apologetic about it. Their food was okay. The buffet there was average at most. There wasn't a whole lot of variety. The Primm Hotel and Casino is not worth the stay! I reserved a Premium Room with a courtyard view, and when we got to our room, we were looking at the parking lot. I called the front desk and the lady said our room was an upgrade! I laughed and said, "with a view of the parking lot, I want what I paid for!" She said there weren't any courtyard views available so I asked to speak to the manager. She rang the phone and it went straight to Voicemail. I left a message and waited 15 minutes... no call back. I called back down and asked to speak to a manager and explained my issues, so they put me on the phone with Dustin and I explained what had happened. In his exact words, he said, "You have a premium room, just without the view so you got what you paid for." Wow, no apology, no nothing. I told him I was going to leave a "nice" Yelp review and he happily said, "Great." What a crappy place this is and no customer service!! Never coming back!! read more

The one positive thing I can say is as I drove to Vegas again a few weeks ago my friend stopped to use the restroom in PV which it right by the sports bar. There was a girl named Holly who was nothing but warm and friendly. I actually witnessed her walk a guest to whatever they were looking for....totally sweet girl. This is the kind of bartender you should have. She smiles at everyone, speaks English, and as I stood there watching she is a fast worker. I dont know why she is at Primm. Cafe leaves a lot to be desired. Table wait staff was very cordial and attentive. However, the food not so good. Wanted to order a salad for lunch, asked for "no cheese". Waitress said that the salads were made "at breakfast time" so they can't be changed. It was now 130 pm. When questioned how a fresh salad could be more than 5 hours old, the staff said "but they are still fresh". My friends sandwich arrived so soggy it had to be eaten with a fork. I think it's funny how they charge a "resort fee" but the fee your paying the services aren't available just because they put down "new carpeting" behind the check in desk so all fax machines and some phones were not working. For it supposedly being smoke free rooms I can smell all the smoke in my room and being asthmatic it didn't sit to well. Only highlight of staying here was I spent 8 bucks to win 960. read more

I hope the owner/manager sees this post. Travelers, If you are planning on staying here, good luck. I was not expecting a luxury hotel for the price we paid and the last minute booking, but I sure was expecting a clean comfortable room to rest. The walk way to put room was messy and carpets very dirty stained. We tried to be considerate because we knew the property is old. My mind changed as soon as we walked in to our room. Floors were dirty, spider webs behind the door and in the rooms walls. The tables were dusty and the curtains were even more dusty and looked like if someone touched them with very dirty hands. But let's talk about the restroom, it literally looked like a masacre scene, blood stains on the shower curtains, on the hair dryer (how blood stains got there? Who knows) and on the floor! The mirror was super dirty and stained. The whole room was disgusting. I am not sure what is going on with this place, but one thing I am sure is that cleanliness has nothing to do with the property being old. I have stayed in places that are very old but are still kept clean and taken care of. Not the case of Primm Hotel, which looks worse than a motel from the scary movies. read more

Great rooms at great prices. I like how they are always well staffed. Wait in line was reasonable. Clerk was very sweet and smiling constantly. The mall next door that connects to the casino is great! Restaurants have really good food. While i walker around Some employee's did look mad or tired but that is an every job thing. Would definitely stop by there again. read more

I arrived late and was tired from a long drive. I did not check the room that night, which I should have. The first thing that I notice that night was that the TV remote barely worked, sometimes not at all. Would have to get up and get right in front of TV. I was tired and didn't matter much. Just needed to sleep. When I went to take a shower I realized that there were no bath towels, just a floor towel. The shower was not clean and there was long hair stuck to the wall. Not just a little, but A LOT! When I got out and walked on the carpet my my feet were instantly brown with dirt. I had to re-wash my feet and put sock and shoes on in the bathroom. Then, I noticed bobbi-pins on the floor. I don't think that it had been vaccuumed for weeks! When I complained about it, and even showed them pictures that I had taken, all they said was, "Thank you. We hope that you enjoyed your stay". I felt that I was being mocked! I asked for the Manager on Duty and was told that there wasn't one at that time. Don't even think about staying here!! read more

PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! Ok so I came here on a comp for last min getaway and boy oh boy I regret it. So I got in around 1am the host was super nice check me in and I got into my room it was the worst . The bed had stains on the sheets. I had none smoking room and it smelled like smoke had ashes on the floor . The room was so old and out dated. It was filthy idk how this place still open to operate on this condition. The host did upgrade me to a suite after I complaint to the rude house keeping about the filth stain and told me it would take 30 mins to hour clean the room. The suite was ok it's dirty and outdated but it was ok I end up staying one night and going into Vegas paying 300 a night for a decent room I could stay two nights free or not I'll just paid. It's a shame when u rather pay for room to have a nice one considering how much I give this casino. Please do better I wouldn't be back I wouldn't recommend nobody go there Primm owners need to update read more

This place is disgusting. My husband and I checked in 7/6/2019. Got to our room there were crumbs on the carpet in between the beds. The beds were very poorly fixed and we had one towel in the bathroom. We called housekeeping and they told us they had no more towels. The person transferred us to the front desk and the girl told us to call housekeeping and ask them to go to the front desk and pick up towels they had there. We called and when housekeeping brought up the towels they had yellow spots all over them and they were dirty. We said forget it. I spoke to the lady at the front desk the next morning to complain and she seemed to be brushing we off and did not want to hear it. She told us she would refund the resort fee of $18 dollars and that next time we can stay in a renovated room. We should have gotten a full refund . We will NEVER stay there again. It is a shame this place used to be nice and clean but now it's a dirty dump. read more

We found dried blood droplets on both beds on sheets that were NOT washed. They looked good in the low light when we arrived late then after we woke up and opened the windows to enjoy the light and view, we saw the blood. We were shocked and grossed out. Turn around there is still time! Do not eat at this Country Buffet. We were there yesterday on a Sunday night and it was horrible. This is the worse buffet I have ever , ever eaten ate in 67 years . And I use the word eaten lightly. We could not find much to eat. Went to get a plate and the entire stack of plates were filthy. It is a rip off. I should have asked for my $15.99 times 2 people back but I was too ill to cause a stink. Please do not be sucked in by the "Wait til traffic dies down" trap.
