Apparently, they go through 15 gallons of it every week. More on that in a minute. I took my cheesesteak over to Death of the Fox Brewery. Why? Because the two breweries that were closer happened to be closed. Their loss, my gain. I love Death of the Fox, but that's a story for a separate review. First, I sampled the meat, cheese, and onions by themselves. Pretty darn tasty. Next, I tried a bite on the toasted garlic roll. Very pretty darn tasty. Then I added the habanero sauce. Now we're talking. Very, very pretty darn tasty. If you've followed my cheesesteak adventures for any length of time, you know I'm not exactly a hot sauce guy. I was expecting some serious heat, but I'd describe this as more of a sweet habanero with a pleasant kick. Best of all, I suffered no repercussions afterward--a minor miracle. The cheesesteak was excellent, the garlic roll added another layer of flavor, and the habanero sauce tied everything together. Honestly, I'm surprised Whit or Whitout doesn't get mentioned more often on social media. They deserve a lot more attention. Decor was all Philly!!

Highly recommend if you're looking for a top-quality cheesesteak!

We sat at the bar, and the super friendly staff made us feel right at home, which made the whole experience even better. We started with the buffalo chicken flatbread, which had a nice crispy bottom and just enough celery for a satisfying crunch. They also had a special burger on the menu with a salty pretzel bun that was really good and definitely a mouthful. The chicken sandwich was big too, and they didn't skimp on the fries or crispy chips. The drinks were great, and with the happy hour deal, the bill felt very reasonable. We're so glad this spot is near home, and we're already looking forward to the next visit.

I always try meatballs at a place new to me. These meatballs were a little on the small side but tasted pretty good. The marinara didn't stand out with any particular seasoning or flavor. It was almost like a thick tomato soup with the color of a vodka sauce. Might have been the light. The pizza I asked for well done. The top looked really good! The bottom was just cooked enough. The first few slices had a good crunch. After 8 minutes, the crust gave out and became real soggy. Pretty sure their oven can't keep up with demand. The bottom should have cooked more. The pepperoni they use seems real salty. The pan pies looked much better. The paste dishes looked pretty good too. I'm sure had I come at a slower time, the bottom of the pie would have cooked better. I would choose a topping other than pepperoni for the win. Cannoli tastes fresh and crisp.

They serve you fresh waster (Drinks to order include Hanks, Boylan's, Harney and Sons, Teas etc.) and will serve you at the table or you can walk up and order at the counter. Their menu has a great mix of deli, steak, "chicken" steak, meatball, sausage and cutlet sandwiches with interesting flavor combos. You can also get breakfast (till 11AM) or a salad. They also have sides that include - tots, fried pickle chips, onion rings, fries, fried mozzarella and Zayda's pickle spears, chips and cherry pepper shooters. They have a couple of vegan options and GF rolls for extra $$. The staff was more than happy to give recommendations and their favs. My first lunch was The Eye - $15 Ribeye steak, Cooper Sharp American, fried onions came on a seeded Liscio's roll. If you enjoy the somewhat newer Cooper sharp style that's out there you'll like theirs. The Cooper sharp was gooey, mixed in well with the meat and on the heavier side. The ribeye was thin cut, delicious and the portion was pretty hefty. Second visit I went with - The Nad - $15 Chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula, Mike's Hot Honey that came on an unseeded Liscio's roll. The portion size was good, chicken was fresh with good breading, the hot honey was a tad on the heavy side, but the flavors all came together pretty good on this one. Sweet, salty, light bitterness from the arugula and some heat from the hot honey. I added Thin Cut Idaho fries to make it a combo for $3 extra and I have to say they were delicious. They smelled like McD's and tasted similar. They are cash only, but have an ATM on site. You can use a card if you order online. The one bathroom they have was pretty clean and organized. I will certainly stop back for a visit if I'm in the area to try out more of their menu. Thanks guys!
