It's really as good as it gets. The meats are fantastic. Authentic Italian cold cuts. But for me, the best part are the cheeses. Their sharp prov is amazing. If you can't taste the cheese, it is worth eating?! Oh, and the rolls are great too. Now, the prices are high for a hoagie, but you get what you pay for. And, trust me, for most of us, get the small. Very disappointed with the Mt.Laurel NJ location today. Specifically one staff member. My boyfriend and I entered to order some food. There was this blonde female staff member mopping very little rain on the floor then stopped, I assume to get ready to take our orders, and promptly turned her back to us. Not a big deal so far. Not even a moment after we walked in and she ignored us, a woman and child came in and she turns right to them and greets her with a friendly hello. Again, not so bad yet, but it did rub me the wrong way. We make our order and she doesnt smile once at us and seemed frustrated. For what reason I have no idea, but ok again, whatever. We pay and wait for our food and I decided I might want to get a drink so I go to read ingredients on an ice tea bottle and I hear her say in a nasty tone "that's not free.." So at first I didn't realise what she was talking about but quickly figured out she was talking about me and making a disgusting assumption as if I was going to just steal the drink. After that another young lady calls my order so I start walking to the counter to retrieve it and the rude young woman, right in front of me said "I cant deal with this," rolled her eyes, and walked away with an attitude, even though there was nothing for her to "deal with" she wasn't even the one bringing me my order. My boyfriend and I were NOTHING BUT NICE AND PLEASANT AND DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DESERVE THIS TREATMENT!! I don't care if you are having a bad day or what but that behavior in your workplace is beyond unprofessional and completely uncalled for. I can't help but believe she is prejudice since my boyfriend is mixed and I was dressed a little sloppily since I haven't been feeling well, and she was perfectly fine towards the other customers. She was doing barely any work and I work a high stress, labour job that requires me to work closely with customers no matter how hard I'm working at the moment and would never ever treat a customer even close to that including the many extremely rude customers I have to deal with on a daily basis. This employee needs to be called out by their superiors for this repulsive behavior. I wanted to get her name but it stressed me out so much and her other coworkers were busy doing actual work so I didn't want to bother them. I will gladly never return to this location as to avoid this horrible employee. It shouldn't be difficult for the employee to be figured out by superiors. Used to really love Primos. Think again about ordering from this establishment. Every single time I call they do NOT pickup the phone. Guess they do not want business. It is currently 11 AM on 11/11/19. Management will leave a counter review saying "so sorry we will try to do better" but I have yet to see any improvement from this shop. SAD! read more

What started out as an ordinary visit, turned bad quickly. I waited for my two subs with my boyfriend after we paid for them, no big deal. My boyfriend wanted macaroni salad and a pickle, and was planning to pay once we received our subs. By the time that happened one register drawer was empty and the other was currently be using by an employee on the phone taking an order. A guy employee said this drawer is empty and we will have to wait, I said that don't worry it's fine we'll wait. But then a tall blonde woman that took my original sub order, came over and checked the drawer that we were already told was closed, she had a sour look on her face and said "this drawer is empty I can't do anything" I said I would pay with a debit card, it's okay. She snapped back around and yelled, "then you have to wait!" to me and my boyfriend, in front of her coworkers, and separate customers. She walked to the back saying "I can't take this s--" loud enough for all to hear. my boyfriend and I walked out without the pickle and macaroni salad. All I can say is that some of your employees are disrespectful, inappropriate, and immature. read more

I love Primo hoagies and all, but sadly I'm done with this location. I've stopped in many times over the last year and unfortunately it's gone downhill in my experience. The last couple of times I've ordered there have been mistakes, and one time the side of oil opened up as it was thrown into the bag and spilled everywhere. Today, I waited over a half hour for a sandwich that never came, despite not appearing to be any busier than usual. I was out of time, so I asked for a refund. I won't be going back to this location unless there is some indication of competency from the management and improvement of customer service. read more

This place has truly missed the essence of what customer service means. After placing an order days before the SB and scheduling a 4:30PM pickup, they were so mismanaged, they were not able to fulfill the order. This did not only happen to me, but multiple other customers who, like me, were asked to return 2-separate times b/c the orders were not ready. Even though this was enough to ruin our parties menu, the most disgusting part was the owner (I think his name is Jim & his wife), just let 2 young teenage girls absorb the frustration and wrath of all those customers whose parties menus were also ruined. Good not great better than wawa by far but jersey mikes is way better. The hoagie I had was very dry even though I got mayo oil and vinegar none of which I could taste. Plus the they are more expensive than jersey mikes slightly. No question where I'll be going from now on. read more

The Nonna's Italian here was not as good as I get at other Primo's. It had thick chunks of red pepper all clumped onto one part of the sandwich. I called at 7:50 and they said I could order but to "make sue I was there by 8:00" to pick it up. Meanwhile, they were still cleaning up so if I was a few minutes late, what would have been the big deal? I thought the way it was said was a little rude. The guy put my sandwich in the bag but I also got chips and a pickle, which he left sitting on the counter after I paid. Then he walked away. The food is decent. Just like any other primo hoagies. But honestly every single time I come, the customer service IS AWFUL. Don't even bother going here. I honestly am curious who is in charge of hiring and if they even have any standards whatsoever. I call and say "can I place an order for pick up?" And get "yeah hold on." It's really unprofessional? Last time we picked up food, there was some clueless employee who we had to say three times "HERE FOR PICKUP" before he even moved or understood. Is there any training? They consistently get the order wrong, never give extra mayo when I ask for extra mayo. I ask for pepper spread on the side and say I will pay for it, and the woman says "you need to tell us this when you order because it cost extra" when I am more than happy to pay extra for it? Seriously, food is good I have no complaints. But management seriously needs to evaluate who they are hiring because they are mostly young, rude, and clearly inexperienced with no people skills or food service skills whatsoever. I didn't want to write this review. I go here because it's convenient and I like the food. But this is the last straw. This is the 6th or 7th time I've had issues with the service.
