I finally had the chance to check this spot out. It's been around for a while. The staff is friendly and helpful to first-time guests, like myself. There are a ton of menu options to choose from. It can be overwhelming at first! There is ample seating available. The restaurant is clean and well kept. I ordered a cheesteak with Swiss and mayo and a side of onion rings with a fountain drink. The cheesesteak roll has two options, traditional, which is encrusted with seeds on thr outside. And regular, which is a plain roll with no seeds on it. I had the regular roll. You can dine in or get your order to go. If you don't feel like eating in the restaurant, you can call in your order and pick it up, as well. This place also makes party platters for special events and parties. Cash/Credit and Debit are accepted here.

If you like sandwiches and good food...you will love this spot. A little on the higher end of prices for sandwiches in the area, but I'd put the sandwiches up against just about anyone in south jersey. Big, filled, delicious...and lots of options. My go to is the Philly Jawn - cheesesteak with Cooper sharp, fried pickles, and Texas petal sauce. (I like to add regular pickles too) Amazing! Wife gets the Paulie with Eggplant. The vodka sauce is so good! I've had the leftovers many times. Wings are really solid too, like the hot honey and garlic parm. Love the Flounder hoagie and the pulled pork with longhots are all big winners in our house. I should take more pictures, but you should go get some food here too. Pics coming next visit.

Stumbled upon this place by accident and sure glad we did! The cheesesteaks here are HUGE! Yes, they're a bit pricy however you get so much food! Portions are very large and the flavor is there! We ordered a "My Tots" and regular cheesesteak and could only finish half the meal. We were really impressed with how thick the meat is and how flavorful it was. Service was really quick to get our order completed and the staff is nice. There's a complimentary pickle bar in the front so if your like me and love spice, you can load up on hot peppers and banana peppers. Haven't eaten inside yet how interior decor is all Philly themed. We will most definitely be back again and again!

Recently opened--within past couple of months--so I tried it out. Nicely decorated interior, clean (see my pics) and the front counter staff was friendly and welcoming to all the patrons that walked in. Took me a few minutes to look over the menu board, because it's huge. Made my selection and the wait wasn't long before I got my order. The food was fresh and delicious. I'm definitely going back to try other items on their menu. While I was taking pics of the place, I noticed they had a wall with the flag and posted cards. It was called Johnny Vets! It was a pay it forward wall. This is a great idea, especially with inflation and a lot of older Vets are on a fixed income. If you are a Veteran and looking for a good fulfilling meal, go in here and partake in their pay it forward program. If you are a Vet that would like to support the program, just let them know at the counter that you would like to pay it forward. Nicely done Johnny Longshots Team!!

Review for Meatheadz - Lawrence Township, NJ…read more After hearing a NJ Transit conductor rave about Meatheadz, I finally decided to check it out--and I'm glad I did. This place absolutely lives up to the hype. I went with the Plain cheesesteak with fried onions and pepper jack cheese on a seeded bun, along with an order of Meatheadz loaded fries. Let me just say, that cheesesteak was a monster. Fresh, perfectly cooked, and swimming in melty cheese--it's easily the best cheesesteak I've had outside of Philly. The portion was so generous I could barely finish it, and for anyone arriving hungry, you definitely won't leave that way. The loaded fries looked fantastic too, but I had to box them up for later (that's how filling the sandwich was). The prices were moderate and fair for what you get, and while the place was busy, the energy felt lively rather than chaotic. All in all, Meatheadz is absolutely worth the trip if you're craving an authentic cheesesteak experience. Rating: 4.25 out of 5

I am in town to attend an event and I went to Gaetano's last night to buy a Cheesesteak. Since I know they're usually big and filled with meat, I ordered a Mini Cheesesteak with grilled onions and the price was listed as $13.79. When I ordered it and was ready to pay for my sandwich, the female cashier told me I owed $17 and change. I knew that price was more than the price posted on their board and I told her the price on the board said $13.79 for a Mini Cheesesteak. She responded that the owner said he had to raise the prices because the cost of meat has gone up. I did not buy the Mini Cheesesteak because I told her the price she charged me was higher than the price posted on the board in Gaetano's. I googled this and found out this is an unlawful business practice to charge customers more than the prices stated on their board. Here's what I found when I googled this situation: Can restaurants in NJ charge customers a higher amount for food than their posted prices? No, restaurants in New Jersey cannot legally charge a higher price for food than what is displayed on their menus or posted boards. Doing so violates state consumer protection laws. Please look into the practice of overcharging consumers for food purchased at Gaetano's.
