I love the concept of the mobile hair salon coming to our neighborhood, how cool is that?! It is adorably decorated and spacious. I have been going here for over a year. Jada is great. I go about every 6 weeks for a Root Touch-up and hair trim. She always asks how my hair has been between visits and if I want to make any changes. She keeps records from what we do at each visit, which is great (some salons don't do that). She does a very good job. She is always friendly, and chats just enough..lol. She manages her time well and can juggle other patrons simultaneously without taking away from either of them. Oh, and she gives the best shampoo head massage!! I am thankful for Primp, the services and convenience they provide, all at reasonable (ala carte) prices, which really helps in these times and especially for a retiree on a budget. Also, for Valentines Day, Mother's Day, and other occasions they give out flowers and/or gift bags with little treats of snacks, lotions, etc Just a nice gesture to feel special... new hair and flowers really makes a girl's day!! read more

This was my first visit to Primp, a mobile beauty salon that comes to Reverie at Trailmark every month. How cool is that? To have your stylist come to you instead of me driving to a brick-and-mortar building, like I've done my whole life. As a new resident here in Saint Augustine, I asked a neighbor where she gets her hair done. That's how I found out about Primp. I made an appointment online and hoped for the best when I showed up at their cool little trailer. Boy, did they ever deliver on services! My stylist was Miss Gabby, who did the best root touch-up, blonde highlights and health trim that I've ever had in my life! My first visit. I'm old (89). The outside of the vehicle is not impressive but when you open the door, its like entering a wonderland of people, who are all busy making the ladies beautiful. The decor is lovely and inviting. I was assigned to Kelsey who was just learning and so Rhian came and helped with my short haircut. I understand most of the clientele were younger women with long hair and I was probably Kelsey's first short hair client . My service was a blowout with Jada. What I enjoy most is the one on one conversation we have with my service. Jada listens to what I am looking for. Love Primp they come to my community so don't have to go far. Always get smiles from the staff and my hair cuts are perfect. Great service! I truly appreciate when someone builds a better mouse trap. Unconventional and needed/wanted. The salon moves to different neighborhoods (see website for schedule). Without the brick and mortar rent, lights, etc, you save as the consumer. Is anything sacrificed? NO! Same salon products and processes you expect in a salon. The whole experience from walking into the trailer to leaving was amazing. My mother and I both got hair cuts. Jada really listened to what we wanted and she was so sweet.
