These teachers were so interactive with their kids and really had fun with them. We just moved up to our third room and I can't review yet on those teachers but I have no doubts I'd give them 5 stars too. I will admit when we joined earlier this year the place was a bit chaos, but since they've gotten a new Director and it has been an entirely different experience. Erica at Kiddie Academy got us in when we called in June 2023, and we are so happy with the care provided for our baby. Lynda and Iman are amazing with all of the infants. They are absolutely wonderful caregivers and we could not be happier with them. I trust them when I drop off my now 4 month old. I can peek into the classroom using the webcam service and if the teachers aren't feeding or changing an infant, and the infant isn't napping, they are playing or cuddling with each one! I second the other reviewer who states the new administrators are doing a great job. I know staffing/turnover is an issue across the industry and I hope Kiddie Academy can do whatever it takes to retain their caregivers.

For the infants, there are three rooms with eight babies in each room. And moving onward from that age, there are more and more kids due to less caretakers per child ratios. The staff were welcoming and gave us a tour. They shared the fact that they are open from 7 AM to 6 PM and you can drop off and pick up your child whenever you need to during that window. They also give you the option to do part time and pick the days you would like to attend. Each year, they offer two weeks of vacation where you can skip the tuition for that week. They also seem to have fun events like picture day, egg hunts, child recognition ceremonies, and more. We are happy we stumbled across this spot for our daughter.

Of course at times there have been little issues like she had been bitten by a child and then another time she was the biter (while in the 12 month class). Both scenarios were handled very professionally. Whenever there is a concern about my child, they bring it up even though I'm sure it must be difficult at times. I definitely appreciate the input because they know what milestones etc. to look for. It's also great because she has really healthy attachments with her teachers and the staff. Many of them have been there the entire time she's been going there and you can tell they are excited to see her grow! But unlike every previous time, her clothes weren't bagged and sent home -- they were laundered at the daycare and returned to us days later, still stained. That alone didn't follow their usual process and immediately raised red flags. Then on Thursday, we discovered our daughter's clothing had been removed while she was in the nap room -- the only area in the building without camera coverage. She would have been asleep, and there was no valid reason for her clothes to be taken off. What makes this even more disturbing is that our concerns are verifiable: we compared the photos the teachers uploaded in the parent portal. In the morning, her button-up shirt was on the correct way. By evening, it was reversed. Yet the explanation we received was that our 20-month-old somehow changed her own clothes during nap time, or we dressed her the wrong way and they didn't correct it. That response is not only dismissive -- it's unreasonable. We met with Shannon twice, and both times she showed no empathy. When we asked how she would feel in our position, she said she "couldn't put herself in our shoes." There's been no transparency, no accountability, and no apology -- just deflection and blame. We're left with unanswered questions and a deep sense of betrayal for ever placing our trust here.

They send you a daily report about the activities she did and also how these activities help with her development. We also get a photo each day around lunch time! As both a mother of a child that attended Weston school, and an employee of Weston school, I could…read morenever recommend this establishment to anyone. Understaffing is a severe issue because they treat their employees like trash, which means the children get shuffled endlessly around to different rooms, even during meals/snacks they are forced to move from room to room, often having to bring their plates of food with them. The children are so disregulated and bored there is frequent fighting and massive behavioral issues that teachers try to quell, but with limited success due to the frequency and severity and the amount of students with issues like hitting, throwing hard objects and biting and attacking staff. My daughter started out loving coming to school but by a few weeks in she would cry every day and beg me not to make her go. She frequently shook, cried, and clung to myself and her father as she entered a classroom full of behaviors like screaming and tackling. There is a mold issue in the school that is not addressed, there are very little supplies, and almost nothing available to implement the curriculum. The burden of fighting for these items is placed squarely on the shoulders of teachers. We're frequently forced to come in sick, a coworker was even forced to come in actively vomiting, having to carry around grocery bags to vomit into in case she could not be relieved from the classroom to vomit privately in time. The cost is astronomical when you consider that the curriculum is not implemented in most classrooms, children play with the same bins of toys day in and day out with little variance while also being shuffled along in a hyper-structured formulaic day. The food is BAD quality. I frequently had to serve green bananas, spoiled celery, grayish hotdogs etc, and children never receive a full bun, only half! We were literally required to serve every "sandwich" or hot dog open faced or with a half bun because of serving size requirements. It was pathetic and every new teacher who came in had issues with the portion sizes. We also gave children water unfiltered directly from the tap. No filtration system for the water. I was prompted to hide refilling the water pitcher from parents because they KNOW it's wrong. Toxic environment for children and staff, stay away from The Weston School. Everything is a facade to look good for NAEYC meanwhile the children suffer for the school to look good on paper. Sad.
