The manager, Larry Grine, runs an efficient operation and is an excellent therapist himself. I have worked with Larry, as well as with Kevin, Greg, and Stephen, all of whom are also top class. About the location itself, I immediately was aware of how friendly and attentive all the people there seemed to be. The facility itself is attractive, full of light, and has a very positive vibe to it. About the therapy, my therapist knew more about the anatomy and movement of the knee and surrounding areas than I could imagine. He performed a series of massages, movements, exercises, and other treatments explaining at each step what it was meant to accomplish. He was very clear about how to approach the rehab process and answered every question I had. He also laid out a carefully thought out home exercise program that I followed fully. My recovery has progressed very well and exceeded expectations. It has been an excellent experience and I highly recommend VTFC and Larry Grine as a PT.

I know the Office Manager and therapist spend time getting this all approved. I'd like to especially thanks my current therapist Brita who has been patiently working on my knee and back issues for several months off and on . She took over my case when my insurance Cigna became difficult on who was allowed to provide therapy. So she is qualified. Regardless of how busy she is, never fails to greet you cheerfully, checks to see how you are feeling and listens to any specific issues and works on them. She provided tips for homework and very easy finish instructions for exercises. Also no matter how busy she watches each of her patients and makes sure exercises are being done properly and heat and ice are provided. And never fails to say goodbye . Some days the pain was pretty intense. My doctor referred me for a MRI, but until then suggested I begin physical therapy. I was referred to Chantilly Physical Therapy by Tricare. Every person I've encountered here has been kind and helpful. The therapists I have worked with have been wonderful. They really took the time to listen to my concerns and goals for recovery. They showed me exercises and stretches that specifically helped my situation. In just a few sessions, I had a marked improvement in what I was able to do and now after 15 sessions, I am feeling like myself again. From the very first day, Professor Dr. Clara Yi was able to identify and treat the root causes of my 45 years of suffering--something no medical doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, or acupuncturists had been able to do. I truly believe God led me to Dr. Clara in May 2025, and since then, I have experienced what it means to live with far less pain. I had a wonderful experience with Ascend Physical Therapy. I had rotator cuff surgery back in late…read moreAugust 2022. I started PT with Ascend two weeks later. The Doc said it was one of the worst tears he had ever seen. The therapists were conscientious of this and approached with extreme care. I initially started out three visits per week. The PT eased me to the pain and not through it as prescribed by the Doc. Over time my motions were normalizing. The PTs kept testing my movement abilities, and again not pushing. I was "handled with care". Eventually I reduced my number of visits to 2 visits a week then every other week. I am back to normal, or at least 99%. I would like to thank Nancy for having such a great group of PTs who assisted me, Petya, Kim, Courtney, Jacob, Allison and Nancy herself. I don't recommend injuries to anyone but if you must be injured and you require rehab, Ascend comes highly recommended.

They are knowledgeable, patient, really take time to listen to how you're doing and adjust exercises accordingly. The atmosphere of the practice is very calm and cooperative. Even when there are multiple folks there at the same time, I feel like I get the attention I need in terms of observations of what I'm doing, adjustments needed, and instruction on what to do next. I've gone to several PT practices over the years for different issues, and they are among the best I've experienced. I've made very rapid progress thanks to the care I've received, and have no doubt I will reach 100% in the near future if I finish my regimen at Ascend. I would recommend them to friends and family without hesitation.
