At the time I asked her to give me an estimate on a gold ring that I have. After her inspection she had offered me $1850. I did not sell it at the time. I was just curious at where they might be at with the price. Well, now fast forward to April. I decided that I might be interested in letting go of my diamond ring for the right price to do some improvements on my vehicle. So I decided to pay Alicia a visit. At this point I will say that I am honestly expecting there to be more value in the ring since gold is at an all time high since the last time I visited. I decided to call and make sure she would be available. Unfortunately after several attempts I could never reach her at location. Everyone I would speak to would never offer a time so that I could schedule with her directly so I went ahead and just decided to see whoever was there at the time. Upon arrival, I see that they had did a complete remodel of the office from my previous visit. It is much more elegant than previous. There were 2 guys working and I end up with the guy at the desk farthest from the door. ( I apologize, I didn't get names) I show him the ring for the quote and he immediately starts complimenting it and shows what appears to be genuine excitement. While he is inspecting it he asks me if I had ever got a quote on it. I tell that I actually have and that it was done there by Alicia back in 2024. He promptly asks me what price she gave me and I decide to hold that back so I can see what he comes up with. This is where they lose me completely. He ends up offering me $800. Smh. I tell him he is way offffff.......... I then share what the original quote was in 2024 by Alicia. I express to him that his quote can't be right on the fact that gold has skyrocketed since then. I also directly ask him if he is just crazy low balling me on purpose ( I know, of course he is going to say no to that but I had to ask. Right??) after some back and forth he tells me that is all he is authorized to offer?!? Than he goes on to tell me he is "messaging" Alicia. He takes some pictures etc. Now they start to say gold has gone down, and the diamond pricing has gone down, and supposedly the clarity of my diamond is horrible. Let's not forget how he was drooling over my ring when I first walked in. What's even crazier is that as they are insulting my diamond it's part of the value the original quote that she had given me in 2024 was purely on the gold. She specifically told me that they don't count the gemstones because they treated as scrap so it's just a gold that has value Which is crazy but her words. Also, when he quoted me 800 he told me he couldn't price anything on the diamond. So at this point, I'm like one this place is turned into crooks. and second, is he even talking to Alicia? Is she even the same person I dealt with in 2024 or really the owner or still the owner. As far as I'm concerned too many question marks now looks pretty on the outside with the remodel and all, but on the inside to me it's horrible now. And I know you're gonna say well. You only visited one time in 2024, but that one time in 2024 was crazy made a huge difference because I have visited other place prior to going there and she seemed to be honest sincere and had very fair quotes. Hey all I can say is this get multiple opinions do your research before signing off with these guys. I don't recommend them unless you're just not caring about what you're unloading, but k steering clear of this place in the future.

I've gotten a lot of balloons in my lifetime and I've done a lot of pawning my gold to leave as collateral he said to me over the phone 60% of spot price of whatever amount of gold I have and the interest rate was 6%, immediately I felt that was a good deal based off those numbers but when I arrive, maybe it was my fault for bringing nearly 150 g of gold because I didn't make up my mind and I was just gonna decide what I was going to give him when I arrived, from the moment, I took out my gold this man's eyeballs almost came out, not a funny way either more scary vibe/energy gets worse as I am selecting which items I want leave with him. He signals me with both hands, no words. "Bring it all here" if that makes sense I could you know I'm not making up anyways I remain professional and I handed over all my Gold and explained to him that I needed to keep some of the items I'm a jeweler and these items are fine. we're interested in and I would like to have them on hand just in case they come by them the amount of Gold that he took for me versus the 60% price that he said over the phone, I'd like to say he gave me 20% for 25% of the loan that he was about to give to me and I was really bothered leaving that amount of gold for the amount of money that he was giving me. It gets even worse so he never explained to me the exact terms, but before I walked out of his office while still in his office, I still have the cash in my hand that you gave me which is about $2500. He had over 113g of my gold some 14k 18 K. The only reason I was really gonna move forward with the deal even though I was bothered because his rate was 6% but before walking out looking at the paperwork and it's saying that 6% x 3 months. So I politely asked, but I only need it less than a month. He said that's fine but you still have to pay the three months 6% per month I said, but I don't need it that long. Then he says that it's a California law that has to be for three months minimal which is a complete lie. I swear he said that and anybody can Google and see for themselves that is completely made up in bogus, advertise himself as this trustworthy high paying kind human being running a honest business I get the nature of a loan shark as I've dealt with many many of them, but I've never ever once. Had someone not explained to me the terms change the terms or didn't fully explain them just had me send the paperwork after he got my Gold and he was ready for me to get out of there. He was a happy camper, but just something that it fell right and I had to make sure everything was what we agreed to since he told me 60% of spot price, but instead gave me 25% at most after he said 6% times three months. I literally threw his money back on the table the same way he gave it to me told him give me my gold back. And he complied and just someone I would never do business with a lot better options out there people I'm so serious and it's not hard to find them and they do the same thing as this man only meant to force you to pay for loans for three months if you don't wanna pay that long, but if you want three months, you could have them that long and they won't take so much of your gold and give you so little money. I worked hard for my money the same once you wear that Rolex Hulk I wear the same one too only you probably paid someone a little amount of cash and they weren't able to pay kept it yourself, you don't work hard you say you've been doing this for 25 years.
