    I was skeptical of doing Business with a new to me car dealership but I ended up being pleasantly surprised. I ended up buying a new F150 Lariat. I feel they were treating me fairly and answered all my questions. When it came to financing and the extras they presented them at a reasonable price. They kept their word about discounts even when they found out the discounts where not combinable. I feel they are as good as a car dealership can be. Also getting a F150 pretty much equipped the way I wanted for below sticker in this current climate was great.

    I'm updating my review to add a star in view of the really great service that I received yesterday. I dropped off my car to have a leak in the roof repaired. I'm not sure why Ford's leak, but I've had two Ford's among the 20 or so cars I've owned that leaked. Anyway the technician was able to find and fix the leak at a reasonable price. While they were test driving my car they noticed a shudder in the recently replaced clutch. so without even asking they put in a new clutch for me at no cost and the car was ready when promised. That's the kind of service that will keep me coming back!

    I brought my truck to Dad's Garage in Owings for three relatively straightforward items:…read more * TPMS sensor programming * Tire balancing * Diagnosing an emergency brake-related clunking noise under load I had an 8:00 AM appointment scheduled well in advance, yet after TWO full days, the truck sat untouched until around 2:00 PM on the second day. This was a job that realistically should have taken a couple of hours. The TPMS issue was never resolved. Initially, I was told the sensors had been programmed correctly and that the warning lights were caused by incorrect tire pressure -- one of the most ignorant explanations I've ever heard from a mechanic. The reality was simple: the inner rear TPMS sensors were never programmed at all, which was the entire reason the truck was brought in. They eventually admitted that after the fact. Next was the wheel balancing. My truck has custom powder-coated wheels. Instead of using stick-on weights like the factory setup already had, they installed hammer-on steel weights on the OUTER edge of the rims, damaging the powder coating in the process. Any competent shop should have immediately recognized the proper balancing method after removing the existing stick-on weights. As for the emergency brake concern, they never properly diagnosed it. I specifically brought the truck in for a loud noise under load -- not the normal sound of the electronic parking brake actuator engaging. They dismissed the issue without ever meaningfully reproducing or testing the concern. To top it all off, they broke a wheel stud using an impact gun on the lug nuts rather than properly torquing them as a qualified mechanic should. Because of the excessive use of the impact gun, I now have concerns about stretching or cracking of the remaining wheel studs and will likely be replacing all of them as a precautionary safety measure. Between the damaged powder coating on the wheels and the wheel stud issue, I am now facing well over $1,000 in damages to either have the wheels professionally re-powder coated or replaced, along with replacing the studs they improperly handled. What made the experience even worse was my conversation with Mike, the owner. From the beginning of the call, he was defensive and adamant that everything had been performed correctly -- until several of those claims were proven untrue. Once confronted with the facts, the conversation quickly became unprofessional, including yelling on the phone rather than attempting to resolve the situation appropriately. Two days wasted, damage to my wheels, unresolved issues, poor communication, and additional damage caused while the vehicle was in their possession. This experience was frustrating from start to finish. Steer clear of Dad's Garage unless you want your vehicle returned with more issues than it had when you dropped it off.

They were so slow and incompetent I had to pull my Jeep out in the middle of their alleged servicing. They worked on my Jeep maybe two hours at most! And 9 days of nothing! I had to pay for a rental car the whole time too. Communication with them was terrible, they were rude, and so completely inefficient and incompetent. The GM and Service Manager were just as bad, and fostered this negligent attitude. To make it worse, they don't care! Instead, I was misled into believing that my car required a $16,000 part--an outrageous claim that immediately raised red flags once I had the chance to get a second opinion. What's worse, I was told that in order to even obtain this supposed part, I would first need to pay for the installation of a brand-new battery through them. This felt like a blatant attempt to upsell unnecessary services and pressure me into spending even more money under false pretenses. At no point did I feel like transparency or integrity were a priority. Instead, it seemed like profit was the only concern, regardless of how misleading the information given to customers might be. This kind of behavior erodes trust and takes advantage of people who may not have extensive knowledge about vehicle repairs. I strongly caution anyone considering this dealership: get a second opinion before agreeing to any major repairs, and don't let yourself be pressured into unnecessary add-ons. My experience was a clear example of how easily customers can be misled when honesty takes a back seat to sales tactics.
