I've never actually eaten at the restaurant, but the take out is always exceptional. I usually call in my order and pick it up. Service from whomever is working the register is always pleasant. This isn't a place I'd like to eat in as it does look a bit dated but if you are just looking for some good local Chinese take out then you've found a top contender.

The ribs were the worst part of this meal. Small, chewy, fatty, awful sauce, skip those at all costs.

This might just be personal preference, but I was relieved that most of the dishes weren't overloaded with cheese as Korean fusion so often is. Portions are fairly small for the price but pretty standard for a food truck, and the entrees come with your choice of ribeye, chicken, pork, or tofu (no price difference). This truck is definitely worth a try, though I don't think I'd get it twice. I got a rice bowl with pork ($12), which was white rice, roasted kimchi, pork, and shredded cabbage/carrots. I didn't love the pork but didn't dislike it either - it was pretty soft and very fatty, and I had to throw out a lot of the fattier bits. The marinade taste also wasn't very strong; the dish mainly tasted like kimchi and yum yum sauce (spicy mayo aioli that wasn't very spicy). Visually I think the dish was too monochromatic and would benefit from a greater variety of colors. The kimchi was warm and soft, mostly sour but not very spicy, and it seemed very cooked - I guess this is what roasted kimchi means? They gave me extra kimchi when I asked if the dish could be made more spicy, which was really nice as the kimchi was my favorite part! Tasty but mainly I didn't love the pork. My friend got tacos with chicken ($9), which he liked - he said the chicken was very tender, though he would have liked more red cabbage. It was pretty oily, and after eating the fillings there was a puddle of grease on the tortilla. He did complain that his $2 bottle of water was mostly ice though. The people in the truck were friendly but mildly frazzled. It seemed like something wasn't going efficiently - there were long periods when they weren't taking orders, but when I was finally able to order my food was ready in under a minute.

The main issue isn't them being together but more just the flavor as they're kind of bland and so is the gravy. The coleslaw is average but needs more flavor too. Finally, the rolls are below average as they aren't freshly baked. They're more like a discount version of Hawaiian sweet rolls. Even warmed up or toasted, they have a slightly weird after taste and aren't as good as freshly baked biscuits. In the end, I would still go to Chicken Holiday for a quick bite or a decent catering meal. They give good portions and have a good selection of food to choose from.
