I got the steak and pepper and cheese fries. It was right off the grill so it was nice and hot. Service was quick so I didn't have to wait long.

    Dry and burnt meat

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The burger was burnt and inside was dry. Just because I asked it for well done, doesn't mean the meat should be dry and burnt, the meat was tasteless other than dry and burnt. I should've gone to Five Guys where the burger is juicy and comes with many toppings for the same price. Will not come back to this place again. Worst burger ever.

    7 piece buffalo wings order
    Elise H.

Came here on a weekend for lunch with my boyfriend to re-live his childhood memories in the Princeton area. I can see why this place would be popular amongst younger folk- the restaurant is bare bones, casual, and inexpensive. We ordered 7 buffalo wings (the smallest order of wings possible). For what we paid for, the quality was pretty good! In terms of flavor, they were nothing spectacular. What makes these wings stand out is their freshness- these babies come straight off the fryer for a delectably warm, tender, and saucy experience. Would recommend for a cheap, quick bite for lunch.

The wings are deep friend and covered simply a butter and hot sauce but you just love to eat them. Usually buy at least 30.

Everything was amazing, but the muhammarah was definitely my favorite. We also ordered the grilled halloumi and watermelon salad, which everyone at the table loved. Lastly, we shared one of the platters, and it was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are very generous. Even with a big group, we had plenty of leftovers--which I was very excited about since I enjoyed everything so much. I would definitely come back!

We got the hot appetizer platter + rice plate to share between two. The hot platter filled me up and we didn't even finish the whole thing. I did not really enjoy most appetizers. The grape leaf wrap dolma was too acidic for me for some reason. I should've read the description more - many of the apps were cheesy. My husband enjoyed the cheesy ones though. The non-cheesy apps were too dry - I liked the flavor though. The pita itself wasn't good either. I ate a bite of the rice plate. I remember really liking the flavor of the rice. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes here, but I don't think I'd recommend it.

If you are going to charge me more by being fancy, You had better be fancy and good. Fortunately Aspendo's delivers. * * * I was there on an academic lunch with an exciting scholar. That kind of thing can happen in a restaurant next to the Princeton campus. This is one of the dangers of eating in a college town. So most of my observational powers and intellectual energy were turned towards general issues of demographic processes and global welfare and the way that these could be re-positioned in the social sciences. There was elaborate stuff going into my mouth. I was paying more attention to the elaborate stuff going into my ears. What was going into my mouth seemed overly fussy for what it was. We started with the complimentary bread, which was warm, fresh, and served with olive oil and a delicious cheese that I couldn't stop eating. It set the tone for the meal beautifully. For appetizers: - Zucchini Beauty- a refreshing and creative salad made of thin zucchini ribbons, bright orange segments, almonds, and a vibrant green sauce. It was unique and delicious - Tuna Marine (a tuna ceviche)- bright and zesty citrus marinade, liked the green apple Mains: - Brown Butter Brown Shrimp Casserole- had shrimp, mushrooms, and thyme in a brown butter sauce. It was too heavy on the onions, which overwhelmed the plate, and the shrimp were overcooked, but the flavors were still good - Branzino- in an almond cream sauce with mushrooms, it was excellent. The skin was crispy, and while it could've used more salt, the sauce helped I was really looking forward to trying the Tirit dish since it looked so interesting on the menu, but unfortunately they were out of it Poached pear dessert- beautiful presentation, like all the dishes. Unfortunately the pear was a bit too firm and difficult to cut. All in all, the food was tasty and while there were a few minor missteps, I'd definitely return. Many creative dishes I look forward to trying here

At first, walking in gave me a wave of nostalgia because it reminded me of the Olives I used to visit in New York City. While it's not the same restaurant, this one absolutely stands on its own. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, and my husband had a kale salad loaded with vegetables and all kinds of good things like pecans, carrots, red cabbage, chick peas and more...he loved it. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and you could tell the quality of the ingredients was a priority. The pricing was also very reasonable, especially for how good the food was. We took our meals to go and walked down the street to a picnic table, which made for a perfect, relaxed lunch in Princeton. Great food, great value, and a spot I'd happily return to. There were also some really good desserts to pick from as well, but I passed them up. Pro tip... there can be a line to order your food during busy times of the day.

As we were leaving I reconfirmed it with the person at the host's desk ( seemed to be the manager) , who apologized and said maybe our waiter missed it . But it was a noticeable miss that cannot be overlooked, as that was the purpose of our dinner here. End of the meal, our family's spirits fell flat, but we still sang and celebrated sans the petty candle. Now on to the food and drinks... Mocktails were delicious, colorful, and eye-catching . We tried all 3 on the menu and loved it. Appetizers galore filled our table ... Bang Bang cauliflower had a medley of sweet & sour flavors. Hummus pita board - Warm grilled pita was a table favorite with the small portion of hummus and fresh crisp veggies. Harvest salad - crisp lettuce, feta cheese, walnuts, poached and fresh sliced pear, cucumbers, and watermelon radish with rose vinaigrette made this extra special. Crispy calamari - great pairing with pickled veggies and arugula basil aioli. We ordered an assortment of entrees with all seafood choices . Salmon with risotto , Halibut & Branzino cooked to perfection served with flavorful sides. For dessert, it was the warm brownie with vanilla ice cream and peanut butter cup . The brownie was soft and not too sweet, slightly warm and it vanished in a few seconds. Peanut butter cup was a dense donut texture with candied peanuts We hoped that at least one of the desserts would be served with a candle as we were celebrating a birthday but they missed it and didn't care enough despite letting them know when marking the reservation. I loved everything about the experience at Agricola, but their lack of attention to detail stuck out like a sore thumb , as the poor communication between their front desk and wait staff dampens the guests' experience , making it a not-so-great finish .
