This review is overdue simply because the family and I have long since been fans of this spot. To get straight to the point, they arguably have the "Best Wings in Town." Now, this is coming from an avid wing fan who takes everything about chicken quite seriously. The only knocks on this place are that sometimes they can be extremely busy and customer service may suffer because of this. They also changed their fry cut to shoestring which means if they sit too long they will get too soggy, I suggest popping them in the even & you are good to go. When it comes to sauces, rubs, and flavoring it's very hard to compare anything to their incredible variety (maybe Buffalo Wild Wings). Everything is phenomenal. read more

Wing Spot has really good wings! That's all I've gotten from here, but they are perfect every time! They have plenty of sauce and dry rub options. My go to is mango habanero and a side of the atomic bomb, well done. I have never dined in, always ordered for pickup and they are still good every time. I think their prices are reasonable too. My son LOVES wings. Tonight was an impulse stop. I read the reviews first, and braced myself for some rough customer service (if you're from Jersey, come on, you can hack it!), but found the women up front to be lovely. Either this is an entirely new staff than the ones mentioned in other reviews, or, more likely, people are WAY too hard on food employees. Be kind, folks. :) Not only did the ladies give us time and space to figure out what to order, since we were first timers, but they gave me a second chance on my tenders' dipping sauce since my first choice, Garlic Parmesan, is (WARNING!) confoundingly, mayonnaise-based​. Mayonnaise is vile. Also, my son managed to spill nearly an entire soda on the floor during the pre-storm dinner rush; we apologized profusely and tried to help clean up, but staff dismissed our efforts with kind sympathy. My son ordered 10 mild buffalo wings; he devoured half of them without restraint ​and saved the other half for later. I seldom see him eat so enthusiastically, so they must have been good. He'll need a powerwash tonight for sure. I dipped a couple of my fries into his sauce -- it was the perfect blend of flavor and heat. I ordered 4 tenders: large -n- long meaty slices of chicken breast, right off the bone. They're dredged in a cornmeal/flour mixture and fried: delicious. I chose the teriyaki sauce for my tenders, and it was fine - nothing to rave about, but not bad. Fries were just the way I like them: thicker than the fast food variety, but not the flavorless steak fry slabs. They had a nice, delicate crunch. I saved half of my meal for later, too. Portions are respectable, for sure. The Wing Spot offers a lot of interesting sauces and dry rubs, and we'll likely go back soon to try. My only observation/complaint about that is that I think it would be helpful to explain the sauces and rubs in detail on​ the menu or the board. What is yellow sand, for instance? And, dear lord, why on earth would Garlic Parm ever have mayo in it? This is not fine dining, but rather the stuff that makes your soul happy on a cold night. I walk into this place my second time visiting. a young cashier wearing glasses decided to text on her phone while I'm waiting for her to assist me. her head was down the whole time, didn't acknowledge me until I said something to her. then when she did decided to ring me out, I slide my chip card into the reader, and the reader was saying waiting for card, as if I know what's going on, remind you she back on that damn cellphone texting away head down paying me no attention. so I said hey the card reader isnt picking up my card, she look at me as if she aggravated and say you need to push your card in, before i knew it i said to her well if you pay more attention to the customer i shouldn't have to ask you for help. at this point I will not be coming back,and I will also tell my military buddies to not come here. the customer service is horrible, and cellphones shouldn't be allowed due to customers credit cards being used. never again and I was told the owner name is Jay...wow way to go on the people you hire... read more

The food is really good and reasonably priced HOWEVER, if you are seeking good customer service from happy to see you smiling faces you are at the wrong establishment. I have never had an issue, my order is always right but once they didn't even give me the cup for my combo which came with a drink until i asked, although my friend got hers when they gave her her food. It is a small location but BIG flavor. My good ole faithful is the mini chicken teriyaki bowl with 4 tenders. Although theor food is great,their service their is terrible. The cashiers will have an attitude with you and when calling it will take you a few calls for them to answer you. On top of that, they will pic up the phone and make you wait 20 min to take your order. I once tried to call sating" hi is this wingstop on nottingham way?"
