I used to come here so often to satisfy my sweet tooth and was happy to see that it was open again! As a heads up, the prices did go up for their food and drinks ranging from $.50-$1.25, but they kept the quality of the food about the same. My boyfriend and I grabbed a green tea crepe cake, a rose milk tea and fried squid tails to go but I saw that they also had outdoor seating!! There were only 2 tables but it's nice to see that they do provide a sit down option. The green tea crepe cake was delicious and if you miss lady m, this cake is very similar! I absolutely love this place! I've been to the other Brooklyn location and the one in flushing but this is my favorite out of the three. I come here at least two times a week just because I love the tea and it's one of my favorite places in the area. This place is legit the cutest. My favorite is to sit in the back area it's so cozy and warm back there. The decorations also make it interesting and different. From the plants to the lights to the beautiful flowers and you cannot forget about the glass roof so you can see the sky. I've tried a bunch of teas from Hot to iced and every single tea I tried I loved. They are all so flavorful and you can tell it's real tea made from the leaves and not tea bags. The deserts are really good and they have a bunch of different ones. The also have some food options which it really good as well. The staff is all friendly and sweet here and the manager is always so sweet and friendly too. Having a friendly sweet team is always an excellent key to customer service and this place sure has it! read more

All Prince Tea Houses are always consistent with their service. It's always profession and the vibe of the store is always so calming and captivating. Their food selection is good and it's fair for the pricing. I would always grab a Rose Lover Milk Tea (The pot) no matter which Prince Tea House I would go to. Usually a 2nd batch too! It's so relaxing there and it's a great place to just chat with your friends and munch of some snacks or cakes. Sip on some amazing brew teas that is always kept warm with a candle. When your friend wants to grab coffee/tea/boba in the area and you want it to be a bit more spacious and not a grab-and-go type of situation, Prince Tea House is the first thing that comes to mind. The only caveat, there's a 2 hour sitting limit when it gets busy (but they let us stay for 3 before kicking us out ;)). There are at least 6 tables indoors and a beautiful, spacious, glass ceilinged, secret patio in the back. Tip: the AC is turned to the absolute lowest setting in the back so it gets super warm (the front is much cooler). What we ordered: CALIFORNIA SANDWICH- the chicken was freshly fried, juicy and sweet. Basic but good. The side salad that came with the order was a nice and healthy touch. ROSE MILK TEA- one of their more popular drinks and rightfully so. It was the perfect sweetness, a lovely shade of pink, fragrant but not overly perfume-y. DURIAN CREPE CAKE- yasssss. I love durian and this had a very authentic durian taste. A bit heavy creamed but no doubt a strong competitor versus Lady M. I'm so glad they decided to open a Prince Tea in this neighborhood. Besides Tous les Jours, all the asian drink shops have very limited seating and are more of the takeout type. I'll definitely be back to check out the durian tiramisu. read more

This place is so beautiful. Like... a Prince's tea house lol. We asked if we can sit in the back, but they said no it's full so we agreed to sit towards the front. We took a look at the back though cause my friend said it looked nice. And it really did!!! The back decor is how I want my future wedding to look like Haha. There were a couple of open tables in the back though. Why didn't they let us sit in the back? Later on they let other ppl go there too. The tea I got is called Theophille. They pack large parties in this limited space, and it really gets in the way of enjoying everything. I literally left early because it was just uncomfortable physically and hence, socially. Not a good ecxperience. They were also extremely slow with even the first round of good, then refilling. You could not try everything because it was so packed and people grabbed what little they put out at a time. Good food so it was sad. Not amazing food though. The tea is amazing. I think it gave me an instant health high. But also served in much too small (traditional) tea cups, you had to wait just to get a second mouthful. This was an overcrowded private party. If it was relaxed at a table, I'm sure it would have been amazing and stimulating. So if you have a party check the space size in person and make sure you have a limited guest list. Maybe 50-60 for the beautiful back room and garden. They packed in like 80. read more

Multiple locations that I've been to- this place is decent. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews? The teas are great, decor is beautiful, great service. I love how the deserts and iced tea has so much less sugar than the traditional American desserts. Love the purple sweet potato cake and the molten lava cake. The tofu cheesecake is great too. They have the best wings- perfectly crisply. The Sante fe rolls are a little spicy. Twister fries and chicken nuggets are great too. Overall nice vibe between a fast food and a stylish tea/ dessert place. Wish the menu had more variety of lunch and dinner options. We were visiting my in-laws in Brooklyn and being the foodie that I am, I had to look for a tea spot. I found Prince Tea House through Yelp (thank you, Yelpers!) and it did not disappoint. It was the opposite, actually. We were so surprised by how nice it was. The front of the cafe was clean and neat, nothing special but when you went back to the faux greenhouse setup, it was absolutely gorgeous. I wish we would've been able to visit it earlier in the day when there was some natural light out. All the string lights were so beautiful but there was something about that lighting that made it impossible to get a decent photo of the food. It kept throwing off my camera, so bizarre. My husband and I could not believe how delicious the Green Tea Mille Crepe Cake was, WOW. It was 17 layers (yes, I counted) of light, moist melt-in-your-mouth goodness. We grabbed a pot of the Lavender Oolong tea to share and it was perfect. Service was okay- probably the only thing that wasn't fantastic but it wasn't bad. It was in some weird part of the neighborhood. If I just saw it from the street, I definitely would not have gone in. It's surrounded by nothing, really. It looks like some out-of-place drink spot. So happy that I don't have to travel to 8th ave just for late night dessert or a good time around cute utensils & tea! If you've been to any prince tea houses, the one on 21st ave is no different. Quality of the food and menu are the same, and wait staff are equally as nice. Though I can see that they may be a little more inexperienced in terms of serving because they just opened, it's nice to see how earnest they are in making sure that they're giving you their best. It was endearing to see a waiter whole heartedly apologize over his poor pouring skills HAHA. My favorites are: 1. fruit toast - filling, delicious, crunchy on the outside warm and dense on the inside. love that they top it off with whatever fruit is currently in season. 2. tofu cheesecake - not too sweet and a panna cotta like texture 3. rose milk tea for a hot drink or the potted foam drinks for cold 4. their (indoor) backyard seating that their other locations probably dont have - SO BEAUTIFUL with the string of lights and open sky, but can be a bit chilly during cold weather Wait time can be 15-30 minutes on average or 45-1 hr during weekend or popular dessert times. Went here at night for some tea and dessert (in early March). I normally don't like flavored teas (I prefer plain black or green tea), but we got two types of tea (Russian and a fruit blend) and they were both awesome!! Flavors were mild, yet rich, so it was yummy but not overwhelming (which is normally why I don't like flavored teas). Also got coffee which was great. Yay to having one near the neighborhood!! My friend and I came here for dessert and tea after eating lunch nearby. The shop looks a bit smaller compared to the one at Sunset Park location. We decided to share the green tea brulee and the strawberry shortcake parfait. And for tea, we decided to share the Prince Passion fruit tea. The brulee tasted good, not super sweet with a but if some bitterness from the matcha. The parfait however was a but too sweet to my taste. The fruit tea was amazing! I was charged a total of $99.56 for a table of 3, ordered 4 appetizers, 1 sandwich, 2 drinks. The tips are included inside your bill because they want customers to do 2 separate bills, what a fraud. Please look at your bill before you pay before you add a decent tip, this is unacceptable. After you scan the QR code, it only says gratuity is applied for a large group, but they don't list the number of people either. My receipt was taken and they didn't give it back to me. read more

Glad to post this as my first Yelp review...ever! PTH has been one of my go-to places this summer. The interior design of this location is impeccable! From the chandeliers to the dried flower decors to the water closet (love me some beautifully designed and clean washrooms), everything looks put together! This location also has a greenhouse/garden seating. It's not 100% al fresco, but the overall ambience is calming; definitely transports your overall afternoon tea experience from Brooklyn to Paris! As for tea selection, PTH is very generous! There's definitely something for everyone. I prefer green teas balanced with a fruit/flower for a smooth, aromatic tea. The food/desserts are delicious, as well! Favorites: Avocado Salad, Squid Tails, and Green Yea Mille Crepe Cake. I'm not a very big fan of seafood, so I don't know why I order the tails every single time. Its crispy, chewy, savory yet not at all fishy. It's scrumptious! This place is shady as hell. They will add the amount of tip they want by themselves AND on top of that, still give the tip option box which would basically be double tipping. Server did not mention anything at all. Service is mediocre at best, you order and check out via a QR code, and other than that, they don't even bother coming around. We NEVER got cups of water at all. Notice in the image that the gratuity was already charged on the card without us knowing and on top of that there's another box below asking for MORE gratuity. One of my favorite tea is the rose lovers. It's a rose milk tea which is already sweetened. The rose flavor is really subtle though and not too perfume-y. I also tried the lavender tea and I honestly didn't like it at all. It was almost too fragrant and tasted super artificial. My all time favorite dessert here is the mango mille crepe cake. It's really good because the mango cuts through the richness and sweetness of the cake. Regardless of the decor or feminine aesthetic, anyone would love this place. Probably my favorite Prince Tea house out of all the available locations (yes, I've been to each one!) Food is great for the price and I enjoy their large selection of tea. My current favorite desserts are the New Yrok Cheesecake, Waffle with fruit toppings, and the fried appetizers. The hot milk tea comes in cute pots which I always adore. The greenhouse is the bets part about this location as it used to be a flower shop once. Brilliant idea to turn the back into a seating area instead. Great for parties of 2-4 but larger parties might have to wait when it gets busy around 7pm-10pm. They close at midnight which is great since we usually crave dessert and snacks around 10-11. I'm a frequent visitor (almost weekly) so you can find me in the greenhouse with friends or solo time to time. The greenhouse is great for photos and selfies during the day or night! Highly recommended for the price point. If I had to critique, I would say: 1) PLEASE use real Nutella on your waffles and not a chocolate weird mix... 2) Some of the staff are clearly new or Junior and may need more training. Have been coming here several times with all my peeps. It's very pretty in there! I've had several pots of tea(good for 3-4 cups) and the Mille crepe. Your pinky automatically pops up because you feel so classy in there. I don't live in the area anymore but it's a great place to meet and reconnect with momma or friends in the area.
