Excess gel lipping on to cuticle

This salon is always very busy and certainly not hurting for business. Maybe this is why they don't prioritize quality. I paid for a luxury pedicure, with upcharges for a French tip gel. My total came to $70+ before tip. At that price I expect much more attention to detail and a clean looking result. What I got is sloppy-- excess gel cured on to cuticle, and the French tips not cleanly extending to cover the nail. I can do a better job on my own. I won't be bac

So the hunt for a good nail tech continued until I found princess nails. I came as a walk in was helped immediately. The service was so amazing. My techs name was Micky she gave me exactly what I wanted and treated me like any other customer. The environment is really clean and nice. It's a busy shop but that's not a bad thing. I highly recommend this place.

Gel polish began peeling shortly after I left

I got my nails done and I was really disappointed with the service that I received. The nail tech rushed the whole time and when I asked to fix the shape of my nails, she responded in a very negative way. The shape of my nails looked terrible and I had to reshape my nails afterward. I really expected more especially with how expensive it was. Additionally, I realized after I paid and left that I had a birthday discount. I called back and asked if the discount could be applied and they refused to apply the discount. They stated I should have let the nail tech know before paying but since I signed in with my profile and the receipt stated happy birthday, I gave the benefit of a doubt that they would have applied the discount. UPDATE: I called Princess Spa and nails and let them know about the issue. I was told the owner would call me but I never received a call. Pretty disappointed.

*Pictures are taken from my Instagram stories, so they may not be the best* I cannot say enough good things about Princess!! Maya is AMAZING! She is so professional and it's always such a good experienced! She pays attention to detail and truly cares about every set she does! I recommend the builder gel, which is what I have. As far as pedicures, Nhi is the best! Such a friendly service and she is so kind and funny! Everyone should give this place a try! Such wonderful and friendly staff!!

    New gel-x set

I got a full gel-x set. It was amazing and my nails turned out great for prom! It was a very pretty place and everyone was really nice! My only complaints is that there was nothing done with my cuticles so the nails don't go all the way up but they are worth it. It was also a pretty good price for some detailed nails.

I've had a different person servicing me each time and every single one has been so kind, talented, and quick with whichever service I choose. I understand why they are a hot spot around here, they have been a full salon each time I've come in (at different days and at different times of day). I highly recommend scheduling an appointment online before you head in.

I came to get a pedicure, manicure, and nail dip. This place is pretty cute and clean. I was impressed right when I walked in. You check in on an iPad and click on what services you want. They have quite a large operation running here. I would estimate there was about 15 to 20 nail techs working. My nail tech was pretty good. She did seem to get frustrated with me if I didn't know exactly where she wanted my fingers or feet or toes which gave me some anxiety as I don't often treat myself to pedicures or manicures. She wasn't rude or anything but it was a vibe and looks that I got. Not overly friendly but she did a good job. I was surprised by how much the services cost nowadays. I paid $80 without tip and apparently communication was an issue because I got the nail dip but no manicure which I had asked for on check in. My plain pedicure was $30 and I got a cute flower design for $5 extra. My nail dip was $38 without a manicure!!! I was a bit shocked. Apparently a manicure is an extra $10. I guess it was a good thing that I didn't get the mani. You have to buy a nail kit for $1 and keep it and bring it back each time if you don't want to pay the dollar fee. Anyway I am happy with my nails overall. The price seemed high to me for what I got but let's face it... we are all grinding right now trying to make it in this economy so I will still give this place 4 stars. Cheers!

You can see that some areas were difficult to paint due to rough skin, but there is no excuse for the chipping and gouging near the tips.

I was a chronic nail and finger biter looking to make a change. I explained this to my first technician and she was very gentle, did not touch any of the raw areas but gave me a very nice clean set of acrylic extensions. This dealt with the nailbiting but my fingers were still pretty calloused on my second visit. I know that technicians do not like dealing with damaged skin because of the risk of infection, so I did not ask for any kind of cuticle care and took care of those on my own. Despite this and my explanation of what I was trying to do (fix my finger biting problem), I received absolutely terrible service on my second visit by a very careless, sloppy, not very polite technician. The woman was working so roughly that she was grazing random areas of my acrylics and leaving gouge marks with her metal file and skidding all over the place with the e-file; there were some fingers where she didn't even finish filing both sides; she repeatedly jabbed me and applied the French tips so quickly all of the edges were ragged and the black gel settled into the gouge marks. She had an absolutely terrible demeanor and seemed openly disgusted by me. Oh and the best part was that she was so careless she did not properly coat my entire finger with topcoat and the gel manicure and chrome literally chipped in under 24 hours. I got these done for an event and had to fill in the missing chips with black Sharpie. I had no desire to go back there for a free fix as my wait time was almost 30 minutes despite having a scheduled appointment ahead of time. The visit was so terrible it inspired me to give up going to the salon entirely. I learned how to remove acrylics on my own and learned how to give myself gel extensions at home. I also finally broke the habit of almost 30 years with some bitterant :) As a final note I think it's funny how the manager is on here trying to discredit people leaving poor reviews. Maybe take some of that energy away from PR and put it towards training your techs?

My nail tech was fantastic. I appreciated that the tools used came out of one of those blue sanitary packs (post service I was offered the files that were used for my feet and toes to take home), and the products used were quality too. The scrub smelt delicious (fall/pumpkin season inspired) and felt perfect (not too rough, not too delicate). The polishes offered are Ella & Mila (I don't recall what the gel offerings were). I got the most expensive pedicure available at the time (#TreatYoSelf) as I was in town for a wedding and wanted to do something a little luxurious. After tax it was $75. You got it. Just be ready for it to hurt. Cons: These ladies are no holds barred when it comes to making you bleed, they used power tools on your feet to make them raw and if you get acrylic nails, they're gouging your nail bed with the Dremel till it burns. I'm not shy, I've spoken up and said it hurts. They apologize, and go right back to doing what hurt but now with more attitude! If you don't book an appointment with someone specific, you're likely going to get the least experienced nail tech, who is the most violent when handling your extremities. The vibe very much feels like "when you're here, you're an inconvenience". Want something special? Forget it- you're treated like even more of a hassle. Almost like they don't want to make the extra money from the add ons! They'll straight up look at your reference, say yes they can do it, then massively mess it up and try to gaslight you about its quality, having the least experienced tech just stumble through it in the most painful way, painting clear coat over chunks of dust, shaping your nails with absolutely no uniformity AND THEN letting you know the design you showed them was something they didn't know how to do. That info would have been great up front. This is a conveyor belt nail salon. They want you in and out as quickly as possible and they're gonna scream at each other with soothing spa music in the background. JFC. Get me out of here. *sigh* Honestly, I used to tolerate it. I thought that was just how the nail industry was. I thought it was supposed to hurt a bit, and that all nail places treated you like an inconvenience. That was- until I went elsewhere. I had revisited this place for a color change and quick pedi and FORGOT how much they abuse your tootsies, rip skin, sandpaper your heels (literally) and how they use their own nails to dig into yours and contort your hands in uncomfortable and unnatural ways. All that to say- it seems like they have some regulars, they're the most friendly to those customers. But from what I've seen, these people are getting something really basic and I guess they tolerate the abuse. Maybe they don't know there are other places out there that are gentle and calming. I have attached photos of what I asked for vs what I got. And it left me feeling like- am I color blind? Are they? My nails were messed up so bad I had to wait an additional 45 mins for the most experienced tech to attempt to gaslight me that the plum and brown cat eye were the same thing. At that point I just agreed to gtfo of there and quickly booked my color change at my usual spot. I made the mistake of not wanting to wait for my usual tech, thought I could just get a quick color change, but I was sorely disappointed. I'm never going back.
