After researching five BMW dealerships across the tri-state area on the hunt for my new car, I stumbled upon Princeton BMW. I visited their website, searched new inventory and they had one vehicle that fit my requirements. The process to check availability is pretty standard across all BMW dealers, likely as they use a 3rd party system. What set these gusy apart was one Michael, working from home his dog barking in the background, giving me assurances that the vehicle is available and to schedule an appointment. I explained that I was two hours away and that a) had questions about the car and b) wanted to tackle the financials get to a mutually agreeable state then do the pickup. He immediately assured me the team will be on it and will align on the process to make it work. Then Anthony gives me a call, we walk through the car options, particulars and my situation. We agreed to give it process a shot and to see if they can get to my target. I submit my credit app (online super easy - the other dealerships were old school, had me print a PDF, fill out the app and then scan it back it to them). I think as per the process, Chris then gets my info and as I was trading in a vehicle Brandon stepped in to fast track this leg of the process. Everyone involved was super professional, they were fair and reasonable, Brandon gets huge kudos as I know how difficult it is to appraise a vehicle and share some tough news. Chris and the finance manager stuck around well after closing to get everything right. It was an A+ experience end to end - going forward Princeton BMW is the only dealership / service center for my needs. More importanly, I'm absolutely thrilled with my purchase!

I visit Princeton BMW to replace flat tire. This place is brand new modern facility building. All the staff are very friendly. Mr.Tyler did outstanding performance to get tire warranty for me. They are excellent!

In reality you get two oil changes since Toyota only recommends changes at 10,000 mile intervals. A mileage threshold that most reputable mechanics dismiss as ridiculously long especially for a four cylinder engine. What they've really created is a ponzi scheme to deliver your car back to the dealer every six months to check for warranty work that they profit from handsomely. And, perhaps more importantly to Toyota is getting you in the habit of bringing your car back to the dealer for service since the service department is the dominant profit center at most Toyota stores. This scheme all came to light when I dropped my car off for what I thought would be an oil change and a tire rotation and having them pronounce the service finished in ten minutes. Basically, they lifted the car up, took a look around and found nothing to fix under the warranty. When questioned, they defended their "comprehensive" check and sent me on my way. Ten minutes? It almost takes me as long to brush my teeth so, I'm calling BS to say nothing of their wholesale misrepresentation of the program. The moral of this encounter is you have to go through every document at time of sale with a magnifying glass. My fault, since I left my magnifying glass at home. Two stars.

Halfway into the 90 minutes the service writer came out and attempted to sell many hundreds of dollars of additional work which were declined. EVERY service writer I watched came out to their customers and tried to sell additional work. This is probably pervasive in the manufacturer based auto industry, but that doesn't make it legit. I mentioned to the service writer that the local oil change shop could have done it in 20 minutes - his response was to disparage the hard working techs at the locally owned business as competent. I get mailings from this business almost weekly telling me what a good deal they will give me to sell them my truck. No way. They proved their true nature in this endeavor.

This is where it goes downhill. I've had the car only 9 days and 120 miles and by starting it on the 10th day I get 3 alerts on my dash and a check engine light. To summarize I brought it to the dealership to be diagnosed for the following morning. I was told the master break cylinder failed and they wouldn't be able to repair it for a month due to the part being back ordered. They also told me no courtesy vehicles are available and to get a rental and I'd be reimbursed at only $44 a day. I contacted GM corporate and opened a case to escalate the repair and to try and get a courtesy vehicle. It's since been silent on the dealerships end. So basically I purchased a brand new car that I'm paying for that I can not drive. And I have to go through the headache of getting a rental that I have to pay upfront for to hopefully be reimbursed for. If my car is kept more than 20 days I will be telling the dealership to keep it as I will declaring it a Lemon Law vehicle.

In Feb 2026, I heard scrapping noises while braking. I took it to American Tire and they told me it needed new front brakes. They replaced them and I have no more issues. The car only had 5,200 miles between Aug 25 and Feb 26 so although I cannot prove it, the tech at Ciocca either never replaced my brakes or they used inferior parts. Either way, there is no way brakes should fail after 5,200 miles. I spoke to three people at Ciocca and explained this and no one ever called me back to inquire about anything. Needless to say, I am no longer a Ciocca customer and only trust American Tire.

Throughout the process, I was repeatedly told by my service advisor, Tam Edmondson, that the delay was due to waiting on the insurance company and that all required information had already been submitted. However, after personally calling my insurance company, I was informed that they had not received the required documentation or photos from the dealership. Only after I requested to speak with management and expressed concerns about the situation were the requested photos finally submitted, and my claim was approved almost immediately. This caused unnecessary delays and inconvenience, and it became clear that the issue was not the insurance company but a failure in communication and handling of the claim process. I was also disappointed by the professionalism throughout the interaction. My husband was told not to call and was instructed to communicate only by text message in a dismissive manner. Communication overall felt poor and reactive rather than proactive. Additionally, I was told the vehicle would be cleaned before pickup, but the car was returned dirty. I have photos documenting the condition of the vehicle when I picked it up. Most concerning was that when I raised these concerns with management, the experience was minimized and defended rather than addressed constructively. I expect significantly better communication, transparency, and customer service from a luxury dealership.

No matter what make or model you are looking for, there is a very strong chance they have it. What really stood out is the freedom to test drive multiple cars at your own pace. I test drove about six vehicles and even went back to retest one. Being able to take the cars out, get a real feel for them, and compare helped me make a very informed decision. I worked with an amazing team: Ross (sales), Steve (finance manager), and Sean (Shawn) in finance who handled the paperwork. Each of them made the experience exceptional. Ross was outstanding. I came in with only a general idea of what I wanted, more about the feel, power, and certain non negotiable features, and Ross listened carefully. Based on that, he curated an excellent lineup for me. After each test drive, he paid attention to my reactions and adjusted accordingly. He ultimately guided me to a car I had never even considered, but it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for, my dream car. Ross was patient, knowledgeable, and never made me feel rushed. He provided true customer service. When I noticed something slightly off with the brakes, he personally test drove the car to confirm my concern, and they immediately fixed the issue before I took delivery. Every question or concern I had, Ross handled quickly and professionally. He truly gets to know his customers, which is rare in today's car buying experience. Steve in finance was equally impressive. He came out, introduced himself, shook my hand, and focused on understanding my situation rather than pushing for a payment amount. He found me the best possible deal, even beating my pre approval, without excessive credit inquiries. He provided a detailed breakdown of every item before I signed anything and allowed me to accept or decline options with zero pressure. I was able to customize my package completely, which I have never experienced before. I walked out paying exactly what I expected, which is unheard of in car buying. Sean (Shawn) handled the paperwork and made the signing process smooth and stress free. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and provided copies of anything I requested. He kept the atmosphere relaxed and conversational, which really helped ease any anxiety. Even with multiple test drives and resolving a small issue, I was in and out in under four hours. That is incredibly efficient for such a thorough and personalized experience. Overall, if you are looking for an outstanding car buying experience, Auto Lenders of Princeton is the place to go.
