I take hundreds of photos per day on my job. I have come to depend on Ana at Printefex for my daily printing. She is always super helpful and fast! She never lets me down. Everyone that works there is great! I'll never go anywhere else! I've also had them do a variety on other printing jobs. They have printed oversized "Shrek" cutouts for a commercial. So, this is just for a phone conversation that I had this afternoon. I have been getting into the toy camera hobby and my Diana F+ uses 120 format film. This is after years of digital photography. I have been calling different photo labs and photo processing places to get quotes for the processing. I have gotten several quotes from different labs, but they are pretty spread apart and this one is just down the street from my work. Well, I call and the woman that answered didn't even say hello just "printefex" that's it, and not in a nice tone. I asked if they did 120 film processing and she said "Honey, no one does 120 film processing anymore. You're not going to find anyone that does it." Oh, really? So, Green Street Lab in Pasadena, Formex Printing in San Gabriel, Kodak Photo Lab in Glendale, Cam Camera and Photo in Burbank and a few others are lying to me? Really? I told her that I had just spoken with several photo labs that do it and she laughed at me and "Oh, okay", as if she thought I was lying. Based off this conversation I would not be inclined to use any of their services. I still shoot digital and 35mm, but trying my hand at dreamy, pinhole and 120 fish eye photography. I think with the burgeoning toy camera hobby out there they would want to capitalize on it and keep the processing local. I can go to a number of places online and some brick and mortar places to get all my processing done. They just lost a potential customer by the attitude of their employee. read more
