I have been coming here for almost four years and I love this place. Walter and now Richard have always been so amazing at making sure I am happy with my resumes. They even teach me some tricks to make sure that my headshots come out on top! I also love that they can get your resumes within a day to you. With acting things always come last minute so it's great to find a place that can work with the crazy timing. You start the process online by uploading your photos and/or resume. They then email you a mock copy to see if it's how you like it before the printing starts. Which is nice because you can make some adjustments before the final product. Parking can be a little tricky if you're going in to pick them up but it's totally up to what you want because you can have them mailed to you too. Headshots. This review is for their HEADSHOT service and nothing else. As an actor, I've experienced many different businesses who duplicate actor's headshots. There are many good points to this place. First of all, it's virtually unheard of that they DO NOT charge a setup fee. (Meaning, they don't charge you anything extra to add a border/plus your name on the pics.) This is a first for me. In 12 years, I've never seen that anywhere else. That doesn't mean nobody else does that...I'm just saying I haven't seen it before. Secondly- and this is a HUGE PLUS- the whole process from the time I walked through their doors with my disc in hand, until the time I left with 250 headshots (shrink-wrapped, and boxed up), 20 MINUTES!!!! DID YOU HEAR WHAT I SAID??!!?? 20 MINUTES!!!!! In the words of Vizzini from The Princess Bride, "Inconceivable!" Most places take at least 24 hours for a turnaround proof that you need to give the "ok" to, and then they'll place your order. 20 minutes. I said 20 MINUTES TOTAL. Ok. I've caught my breath. I'm fine now. 20 MINUTES. sorry. The actual quality was decent. I could have paid MUCH more, waited 1-2 business days, and received higher quality pics- BUT that's not the most important factor these days. 99% of your submissions will be digital through casting sites. You are only bringing a hard copy of your headshots to the audition. You don't need superb quality. Given all of the other pluses of this place, I can overlook the average quality. They weren't bad. Seriously. Downside? It's a bit of a drive if you live on the Westside, or in Hollywood. It's not bad for Valley locations. Other downsides? Or maybe you would consider them to be upsides for the educational factors. It seems a tad bit creepy when you first walk in. You aren't sure if you can trust the slightly disheveled appearance of the shop. Then a guy walks you back to a different room where they TOUCH UP the color for FREE (sorry, forgot to mention that)..then you walk to the printing room (interesting)...then you walk to the cutting room (creepy/interesting)...then you go back to the computer room to pay. I felt like I was living an episode of "How It's Made" with my own factory tour. Cool. On top of all that, the PRICES were really good- especially considering the turnaround time, and free setup. 20 minutes. Yeah I said it again. read more

I wanted to know what kind of printing process they use because I don't like the look of lithos, and the man who answered the phone wouldn't tell me what the process was - only that it wasn't photo, and it wasn't litho, and I should just come in to see in person. I decided to cut to the chase and asked what kind of printer he used, and he seriously said: "You're a f***ing nobody." I said "Excuse me?" And he said, "F*** you." And he hung up on me. MODELS/ACTORS DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE!!!! I received my daughter's head shots from this place and they were HORRIBLE. The quality of the printing was a disgrace! It defines LOW QUALITY printing to the fullest. When I called in to complain about the head shots, the representative (I think his name might be Walter, he had an Indian accent) argued with me, telling me that it does not look low quality and everything he prints is high resolution. His tone of voice and the way he was speaking to me exhibited an "I don't care what you think" attitude. He was extremely unprofessional and provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I told him that I will write reviews about his business. Absolutely incredible business and fast turn around. I just picked up flawless brochures. I called in a sheer panic because Uprinting printed my brochures wrong and I needed brochures ASAP. Rude rude rude! I looked online for a printing company that offers a rush services. I came across them! Just got off the phone with Walter. 2/10/17 at 10:15PM I called not expecting to get an answer rather leave a voicemail for a call back the following morning. To my surprise Walter picked up the phone. I immediately apologized for calling late and explained I was expecting a voicemail. I asked him if he has a moment to talk and answer my questions he responded rudely and unprofessionally. I asked him if he is capable of printing 1000 flyer by Tuesday which is 02/14/17 he literally yelled at me and said "CALL IN THE DAMN MORNING" Reality check Walter " If your don't want to talk to clients at this hour let the phone go to voicemail" beside you business number should be a professional phone line to conduct business. My previous negative review of this business was deleted. The quality I received from this printer for my daughter's headshots was horrible. The printer failed to produce the brightness and beauty captured by the photographer. The prints I received were dull and green-tinged and they did nothing to remedy the situation, and have ignored my attempts at contact. Horrible business. read more

His attention to detail and thoroughness were greatly appreciated. I was floored that he was able to complete my order while I waited! I ordered head shots online and unfortunately sent a photo that had low resolution. As printing is not my area of expertise, I assumed that this company would aid me in creating the best product possible. (Even mega online printers like Zazzle.com inform you if your image will not reproduce properly.) I also made the mistake of approving my proofs on my iPhone. Big mistake. I definitely learned my lesson there. On receiving my prints, I found the image to be blurry with a fuzzy shadow below my name. I contacted the owner, Walter, who offered to discuss the issue with me at the office. Instead of taking any responsibility for contacting the customer to fix resolution issues and refunding or reprinting from a better resolution, he offered to print my next round of head shots at cost: $30. Months later I emailed him with new head shots. Again, I am not in the printing business, so help was needed. He emailed me with the proof, this time informing me of a size issue. Thankfully he called me right away. In discussing the issue, however, he informed me that he would only reprint 50 head shots this time, which in researching online, is not much of a bargain at all---especially since this was supposed to be a special deal because "I am not in this business to make money; it's about making my clients happy." When I told him that I didn't think that 50 was what we discussed he mentioned the time he had already put in laying it out and that I yet again sent poor images in a tone both condescending and dismissive. It is basic customer service to aid your client in getting the best product possible. This company's head shots are cheap. I guess you get what you pay for. I declined the $30 offer, because I'd rather spend my hard earned money at a company that respects its clientele. read more

ZERO customer service. 1. I submitted my headshot order online. Don't be fooled by the fancy website, which has a Domino's-style barometer that supposedly indicates the progress of an order, only it actually doesn't do anything other than acknowledge the receipt of a file. After two full days of "proof pending," I finally called and was told my prints were ready. No phone call or email from the printer. No proofs. 2. I attempted to pick up my order on Saturday. The P4T website has no hours listed, but Yelp lists them as 9AM-6PM. I arrived and the place was closed up, so I called to ask. "Yelp says your Saturday hours are 9-6." "Well, that should be nine to three. We're just closing up." "OK, it's 2:48 and I'm in your parking lot." "Well, we're closed." Click. So I'd wasted an hour driving to Van Nuys and a quarter tank of gas. 3. When I finally did recieve my headshots, the prints were significantly darker than ones from other printers using the identical file. The shadows are blocked up and the eyes are dark. A saturated blue shirt looks almost black - not at all how my file looks. Wasted time and wasted money. Never again. read more

After being abused and yelled at by Walter, the owner, of this low-level print shop in the back of a seedy row of office spaces, I was flabbergasted by how I was treated. Upon ordering, on line, for my child, I had requested something specific in the suggested "notes" box. I had paid for my order, in full, and waited for the proof. He made a spelling error on my child's name (eventhough it was on the attached resume as well as in the body of the order and "notes" box) He made this mistake twice! I picked up the photos and asked him about the special request. He basically told me that what was done was done and he was pretty much an a-hole about it. I merely wanted to know why if my special request was not going to be honored why I wasnt informed either at the time of the order or via email? He then turned to me and said, "What, are you really going to make a big deal out of this"? I couldn't beleive that this was how he handled customer service. I then said to him, that if they could not honor my request, why wasn't that communicated to me so I could figure out how I wanted to move forward". He told me he doesn't need my business and to get out. The quality of his work sucks, the place is so dirty that I needed a shower after my 45 seconds of being in the establishment, and shows such lack of professionalism. And, becasue I don't trust him, I decided to count the headshots that I received(I have never done that before). I ordered and paid for 100. I counted 91!! 91! He doesn't even honor ones orders. What does he think he is getting away with. The amount that was spent on these headshots are insignificant, but I will dispute the charges. The invoice says 100 headshots, and I did not receive what I had paid for. Not only will I never return, but my connections with ICM, CAA, Brillstein, Abrams, Coast to Coast, and the other A-list agents and managers will not be using him either. By profession, I am a marketing and brand manager. No on knows better than me how to build a company. And no one knows better than me how to take one down. This guy is a 1st class A-hole and I am shocked that he is even in business. read more
