They automatically made me wait half an hour people that came in after us with and without an appointment went in first when I asked I was told because the other patient that was with me had no appointment I think they should at least let you know before making you wait that long it's not the first time this happens either . Feeling bad and needed a Covid test. I had a Covid test here a year ago and thought I'd try them again last week. They were busy so I expected a wait but did that in my car. After about a hour wait I was tested. It came up positive and doctor wrote me a Rx. Very professional and the experience went about as expected. Pleased that they just did not say "your positive, go home and rest." I was pleased with the care and in four days I felt better. read more

I took my sister in for the first time, this happened about 10 days ago. She was having a hard time breathing, had a bad rash and could not walk, and couldn't even speak. We were seen so fast, I didn't even have time to finish my paper work to check her in. They were able to work with me and help me find my sisters insurance, the doctor who helped us, let us know he was actually from the new children's urgent care down on Niles. We loved him, he was able to help my sister and find the reason for her sickness. She had a bad throat infection and had an allergic reaction to some type of food or material. He answered all of our questions and was very patient with us. He made us feel very comfortable and I would definitely go back for other emergencies. I don't really recall the staff in general, I do recall me asking one of the receptionists a question and her not being polite. It was more like I was bothering her and interrupting her in something while she was just sitting down. I wouldn't really let this bother me from seeing a great doctor, I just thought I would add this Incase you have a similar experience or would like to know of something like this. Worst urgent care I've ever went to. Waited in the lobby for about a hour and a half. Once I got called in I was happy for my kiddo to be seen, this wasn't the case. They made us wait inside the med room for another hour and half. That's 3 hours in total! Never have I went to a dr office where they made we wait 1 and a half hours in the med room after making you wait another hour and a half in the lobby. I asked the nurses how much longer until the Dr comes to see us and all they could tell me was "soon" which "soon" meant another 30mins. Finally a nurse came to our room just to tell us the Dr can't see us because they had to go to lunch so we will have to leave and return at 2pm. This is ridiculous. Why make us wait so long just to not let anyone know in advance that the dr will be leaving soon. Everyone sitting around doing nothing with grumpy faces. Definitely don't come here unless you plan to spend HOURS here. I came in at 10am and barely left at 1pm and still wasn't allowed to see the Dr until they returned from lunch. I left. I will stick to Atlas Urgent Care which sees me within 10mins. People got lives and don't want to sit around and waste time. read more

Looked up this place to ask if they took my sons insurance and to check if he was eligible. I got a very young lady by the name of Nancy she said on the phone and she was very hesitant to give me her name after i had asked twice for it. Nancy i work in the medical field and i never treat people in this way. I let them know who they are talking to when i pick up the phone. I also verify their benefits and let them know what to expect before they walk through that door so they can be ready. My son has a high fever and i got off at 5pm and was not able to check his benefits. Im sorry if i had you work a lil harder with a few more clicks on a computer. I hope my son feels better tommorow since i have been giving him tylenol & motrin to bring down his fever. I hope your manager reads this post and asks my opinion about how unprofessional and unhelpful you were on the phone. I hope to never ever work with you because i go above and beyond for the patient on the other line to make sure they know what to expext or pay before they leave our office. We never know what the situation is or how the person is feeling on the other line and you were supposed to make me feel like you cared. If I could give 0 stars I would. My fiancé cut his finger really bad. Took him down there just for them to tell us that they're super busy and can't see him. They didn't even look at his finger and he has skin hanging off his damn hand and bleeding! Then we ask if the doctor could at least take a look and they tell us the next doctor coming in for the next shift didn't know how to do stitches! WTF? What kind of doctor goes through years of schooling and training in the medical field and can't do a suture? They pretty much turned him away without looking at his finger. Front desk was nice. The doctor saw us one hour after we arrived. He took one quick look at my kid asked if we had animals and diagnosed scabies. I said they aren't itching. He said some people itch some dont. I'm like really? How do you get your diagnosis just by looking at one at them for a second. He said I been doing this for 42 years. I'm like wait that's not what I asked. He said he said you dont have to believe me. I said i am trying to understand how you came to that conclusion and his answer was that he does it all day. If it's not itching it's not scabies. He prescribed medicine and said it was contagious and then proceeded to tell my kids to sit in the waiting area along with others. If you can avoid it dont come here. It's been a few days and we used some over the counter medicine and it's going away. Not scabies. It's sad that doctors like this dont care. This place is equivalent to playing dr with your children at home. The drs arent attentive and caring. They just want to get you in and out with any medicine. I go in for a cough he prescribed me Tylenol smh. Now I've been to 3 universals and the only one thats very attentive is the indian woman at the brimhall location. I was very disappointed with the PA my daughter was seen by the other day. My daughter was seen by PA Jay For an ear ache. He basically looked in her ears and said she had too much wax in her ears and advised us to use drops to help break down the wax. I asked what was causing the pain? I also let him know that since her ear ache had started, she had a slight fever and chills. He at that point turned to the door to walk out while telling me he would give us a prescription for the pain. (Mind you he was only in the room for two minutes) so I got up to follow him out and at the same time, I was asking what her diagnosis was, and if he thought it was an infection and if she was going to need antibiotics or something. He littler was like "yeah, yeah sure I'll give you a prescription." And in the middle of saying that walked into his office and literally shut the door in my face. I've worked in the medical field for over 10 years, including an urgent care and I've never seen one of the PAs or doctor's I've worked with treat anyone the way I was treated. It is disrespectful and rude. All I wanted to know was what he thought her diagnosis was and why she may have had the pain. He not once explained to me anything or even the dosing of the medication he was prescribing her. I don't think we will be returning to this place again. read more
