We visited on 7/3/22 mainly because Peach's was closed. Parking is a lot which was convenient and provided had ample spaces. Place was air conditioned and quite comfortable. Priscillas was clean, kitchy, understaffed and kitchen was very slow. We were there at about 10 a.m. There were a few empty tables but the hostess, who was clearly completely overwhelmed, was not seating folks because the kitchen was "very backed up." I had the blueberry pancakes which were good although not enough blueberries. Real maple syrup is an extra charge. I ordered bacon but the server forgot to deliver it . She did remember to charge me for it. When I asked for a refund she gave me cash since she was too busy to take it off the bill. Would not go back. Do yourself a favor and head to the Met for a great coffee and pastry instead. read more

In all it was about 1 1/2 hours to have a simple breakfast which was much longer than we had anticipated. For us, this place was a one and done, there's no real desire to go back. After reading other reviews here it confirms that I wasn't overreacting to the impolite way they turned away a party of six people who were Latino. They didn't offer for the guests to wait for an available table, pretty much told them they could not accommodate their party of 6. I saw they were busy when I walked through the door, so I offered to take my breakfast to go, hoping to provide seating for another customer. I was rudely chided by the hostess, stating that they were too busy to do takeout. I told her that I'd be willing to stay to eat, of course, and she barked at me again telling me to wait a minute. She poked her head out the front door to yell at an employee, and upon her return, decided to talk to the customer behind me in line. It was only after seating them that she told me that I would have to wait 20 minutes. Don't know what I did to piss her off, because I was in no hurry. Friendly staff. Food is tasty - but a bit expensive for the quality. We had breakfast. Omlette: paid extra for veggies and meat, but portions of meat and veggies added are minimal. Egg scramble: again paid extra for veggies and meat, and those additions were scarcely present. Paid extra for maple syrup with the pancakes, a couple dollars for hardly and ounce of syrup. Otherwise, the standard syrup on the table is corn syrup with food color. Have to ask and pay extra for jam on the toast. The sign on the front door at Priscilla's can make you pause for a moment - keep your cell phones on mute, keep your kids in line, etc. I didn't know what to expect but Peaches had a line out the door, so this was our best and only nearby option. We tentatively walked in with our two year old and...well, forget about the sign as we had a VERY nice breakfast. All of the servers were friendly to my son (and why not, he's a well-behaved cutie!), and breakfast was delicious. I docked a star as their prices are a bit high, and their breakfast offerings are pedestrian (pancakes, french toast, eggs, etc.). The funniest part about my experience was the jelly tray. The tables already have ketchup, salt, pepper, syrup, butter, etc., but no jelly. After I received my breakfast the server comes up to me with a covered silver platter. Ooooh, what could this be? Real syrup? An extra slice of bacon? She opens the cover and.....it's a plethora of..........wait for it..........Smucker's jam in those individual serving containers. Wait...what? I went here for breakfast while in town with my wife for the weekend. We live in Park Slope in New York City, where weekend brunch is a religion. We're used to great food. This restaurant impressed even us with it's authentic country cooking. We had the dropped (poached) eggs on toast with potatoes, raisin bread French toast and a grilled blueberry muffin. One note: splurge the $2.40 extra fee for real maple syrup. It's steep, but the food warrants more than the free corn syrup crap at the table! read more

Stopped by here on Sunday for breakfast. Very cute and friendly spot for a meal. The hostess and staff were chatty and informal and made us feel at home. In response to the COVID issue they put up a big tent in the side yard and dining has a cozy picnic feel to it. We had delicious omelettes, but the menus also had some interesting looking lunch items as well. Bonus: it was Father's Day and both of were fathers so they gave us a discount t on the bill. Pancakes were great with a local syrup and the sausage was absolutely the best sausage I've ever had. My only complaint was they were busy and the service was a struggle. Might have been short handed but we sat at the diner bar and probably waited 10 minutes to get drink order in. "Happy Good Morning!" That's the greeting that you get when you walk in the door. This easy to miss restaurant is located at the very back of a plaza. The decor is endearing. There are tons of knick knacks on shelves all around the restaurant and in the restroom. I loved that about the restaurant. It was like being in someone's house. Our waitress promptly took our drink order and was attentive to our needs the entire time we were there. I ordered the golden waffles with a side of home fries. These were thin waffles flavored with buttermilk. I'm used to Belgian waffles when I eat out (which they also have on the menu), so it was a nice change of pace to have the "goldens." The home fries were chunks of red skinned potatoes seasoned with salt and pepper. They were cooked well and flavorful. My wife ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon and a side of home fries. She had no complaints about her meal. I ordered a large fresh squeezed orange juice. That will run you almost $5. But, I've noticed that juice prices tend to be high when you eat at places like this, so I was prepared for the sticker shock. I noticed other people complaining about their etiquette policy. For clarity, they ask children to remain seated. It's a small place, and kids moving about will get in the way of patrons and servers. You're not entering a monastery where you have to eat in silence. I'm glad they had the policy posted. If you want to let your kids run around during the meal, try a place that has a Playland. Overall, we had a great experience. The bill came to $30. Not the cheapest place in the area, but the food quality is definitely high. read more

Dropped by our favorite breakfast location in Conway after a two hour drive. After a bit of a wait due to unusually large volume of diners, we ordered blueberry pancakes for my wife, two eggs with sausage, home fries and wheat toast. We were rewarded with truly excellent breakfasts. My potatoes tasted like they were just plucked from the soil. The sausages were big, juicy and delicious. We came to Priscilla's after having a wonderful experience there last year on vacation so we're really looking forward to visiting again. We won't be back. I ordered a hash omelette with grilled onions. I got a hash omelette loaded with raw onions. They weren't even warm and were crispy and white. Accidents happen. I showed my server who was very nice and she asked the owners daughter who was the manager today apparently "why do they do this"? And asked the kitchen to remake it. The kitchen is very close to our table and the cook immediately started complaining that grilled onions take too long to cook and the owners daughter agreed. I told them to cancel the refire I was all set. The daughter manager hid rather than coming to the table and and the server kept apologizing but, honestly, at this point - does it matter. Carol and Kenny, (I am told are the owners.) The restaurant had a handful of people in it in the slow season and your cook-full-of-attitude cost you the cost of a 15.00 omelette today. Your daughter is an incompetent manager and the server let us know this happens a lot with "why do they do this". Find a new manager and cook or you're going to lose your customers. Happy Good Morning! My wife and I went here for breakfast based on the reviews on Yelp. We were very happy we did. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a friendly "Happy Good Morning!" and we were seated right away. We were made to feel as if we just walked into an old friend's home. Our waitress came right over to take our drink orders. Coffee for me and keep it coming. I had the Jumbo Combo which was more than I expected or should have eaten but I ate it all. I ate the eggs over easy, I ate the English muffin, the French toast, the bacon, the butter the syrup. I was in breakfast heaven. I was in such a good mood that I even shared my bacon with my wife who ordered the Strawberry Crepe. It was very big, whipped cream on top and fresh strawberries loaded inside. I forgot to order Orange Juice. We liked this place so much that we came back the next day before our ride home. I got the build your breakfast and the wife got the Strawberry Crepe again. I guess she really liked it! I didn't want as big a breakfast as the first day but as it turned out, it was still fairly substantial. Every person on staff here is friendly and attentive from the first friendly woman greeting and seating to the busboy and all the waitresses, not just ours. Family breakfast away from home. Horrible! My boyfriend and I went here for breakfast and it was the worst meal we had on our 4 day vacation in the area. I ordered a combo with blueberry pancakes, eggs, sausage, and toast. The toast was not toasted it was literally just buttered bread. The pancakes were not fluffy and something to the degree that I could make at home (and I suck at cooking). However, I did order an iced coffee even though apparently it's not on the menu. They were able to accommodate. My boyfriend ordered steak and eggs. Part of the reason we came here is because it is listed online as prime rib but at the restaurant it says sirloin. What was served on the plate was a grey microwaved piece of what was once meat. The service was painfully slow. It took a long time for our food to come out and our waitress never checked in. We waited quite a while for her to bring us the check but ended up waving her down for it. It was eerily quiet in a place that is supposed to be welcoming and relaxing. The bill for 2 people was $35. While on vacation we wanted to have good food and this was recommended to us. It's not a bad place but the food is not particularly good. The only thing that distinguishes this place from any other breakfast diner is lots of little decorations all over the wall which is kind of fun. Waffle was really basic boring fluffy thing, home fries where ok, fruit salad was exactly what you'd find a a grocery store chain, bacon was the only thing I feel was done well. "Croissant was disappointing " (says the French person who I was with). The thing that I find unforgivable is that here in NH they don't have maple syrup on the table for your pancakes/waffles instead they have a bottle of corn syrup made in new Jersey with the label "Vermont Maid" on it. read more

The hostess actually ended up skipping our name and after waiting almost an hour we went in to question it. We were seated shortly and greeted by a sweet waitress. If you have children, I wouldn't recommend touching this place with a 10-foot pole. They stuck us (myself, my husband, our 8-year old daughter & 2.5 year old son) in a corner along with another mom & her (2-3) year old boy. It seemed quite evident that they wanted the children kept away from the main portion of the restaurant. I should've known to turn around when I had the chance as they have a sign slapped on the front door stating that "children must remain seated at all times." My children both ordered lemonades & they arrived in tiny, kid-sized cups - which was fine for us - until the bill arrived & we realized that 2 kid-sized lemonades came to $5.90!? My husband's soda was 4 times as big and cost $1.95. Also, my daughter is 8 & I asked our waitress how big the kids' size French toast was & she told me that it was made on a "very thick piece of Texas Toast". You should've seen our faces when she brought this giant plate out to her with one measly, thin piece of French toast on it. It was laughably small. The coffee was weak & tasteless. The olives in my omelette weren't sliced but just thrown in there whole. Overall, I can't think of one positive thing to say about this place. If I must, I'll say that there was plenty of parking. It was a real local breakfast place. Other customers who came in were obviously regulars as they joked and laughed with the owner and her husband. As for the food...PERFECT. First off I always judge bye the homefries. If they are real potatoes then that is a plus one. This place also had the best coffee, and the cup was never empty! The staff was very friendly, pleasant, and happy to serve! I am glad my wife found this on Yelp...we will DEFINITELY be back the next time we are in North Conway! Went here this morning. We were greeted with the " happy good morning!" . The place was pretty empty we went pretty early. The menu is really limited and I am a guy that like a combination of things. They don't have many combos at all. My girlfriend and I both got omelets. She got bacon and cheese I got sausage an cheese. The omelet was really thick and fluffy. The omelets were really scarce on meat, there wasn't much meat in them at all. They do not give you a lot of hash browns at all. So while we were eating the waitress and hostess were bad mouthing other breakfast places in the area. It really made me angry, then they started talking about saving money an how there prices are going to have to go up. These conversations should not be had when customers are around you. The other thing that made me mad is the sign on the door and the menu that says " Priscilla's etiquette, please silence your phone" Who are you to tell me to silence my phone or put it on vibrate. You are a diner not a movie theatre. The worst thing was when the waitress came over with the check and I had a 10% off coupon. She was like oh ok then ROLLS her eyes .
