Had breakfast on a Saturday morning with friends. The owner is hysterical and entertains you while you wait for a table. We ordered and waited about 45 mins for our food. I got the scramble with the breakfast potatoes. The food was not hot, and I got my scramble with American cheese and it was barely melted and the "breakfast potatoes"...was pretty much a baked potato cut into large chunks...zero seasoning. We came here for breakfast on Friday July 4th due to not wanting to wait in the long at Peaches right near by. VERY unorganized as to who gets seated first. We were told 15-20 mins wait which was very reasonable but it ended up being 45 mins. and larger parties ( 3 or more) who came after us were seated. Waiting for 45 mins for a table then another 15 mins for "Cathy" to approach our school desk sized table for two is unacceptable . Stopped in on a Sunday morning at the end of March. It's a cute place inside and when we were there, it seemed to be mostly locals. Everyone working there was extremely friendly. My coffee was constantly being filled and the coffee was by far the best that I had at the breakfast places I visited in the area. I had the scrambler - Three scrambled eggs with diced ham, cheese, toast and taters. It was OK. It's similar to what I made sometimes at home. Awesome breakfast! We've been here a couple of times and have always had an excellent experience. The menu is a good mix of standard breakfast fare plus interesting stuff, like an asparagus hollandaise egg dish and really good baked beans. Nothing is totally life-changing, but everything is consistently *quite good*, which is not something you can say for a lot of breakfast places. The corned beef, hash browns, baked beans, fruit, and all varieties of eggs have been met with approval by me and my various co-diners. The staff is super duper genuinely friendly. There's almost always a 15- or 20-minute wait, but compared to the waits and quality of other breakfast places in town, Priscilla's is totally worth it. read more

We ate here for breakfast and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Cute little place and loved the hostess. However, our food was just ok. The blueberry pancakes are very good and HUGE! I am giving Priscilla's three stars because there is really nothing wrong with their restaurant, but there is nothing really great about t either. Might be a 2.5 star restaurant. We went for breakfast and were greeted immediately with an unusual but friendly "Happy Good Morning" from the hostess, who I suspect might be the owner. It was a greeting I heard often during our time at Priscilla's as she greeted each guest the same. The small space was full and were told a table should be ready soon as she could see some customers were paying bills. Sure enough, we had a table in 10 minutes. The menu was a standard breakfast menu with the usual eggs, pancakes, waffles, etc, etc. There was nothing that stood out as unique or exceptional. So I ordered the 2 eggs, two pancakes, and sausages breakfast, while my wife had the blueberry pancakes. I did have their fresh squeezed OJ which was nice. Everything came out hot and was okay. But again, it was no different than your average breakfast nook. I do have one real criticism. I can't comprehend any New England breakfast restaurant, especially one up north in the mountains, serving that fake maple syrup. Just because it has Vermont in its name doesn't make it maple syrup. Shame on that point. So do go to Priscilla's for a decent but average breakfast to start your day. Just don't expect anything to really rave about. read more

Quaint, priced well, super clean, the staff is prompt and genuinely friendly and attentive, and the owner is exceptional. (she is the bonus) Oh, the best part....the food was perfect in every way. Overpriced breakfast. Food was mediocre. Not to mention the "Priscilla's etiquette" gave me so much anxiety I couldn't wait to leave. Children are expected to remain seated. I was lucky my 4 year old and 2 year old were fairly well behaved. It helps we went on a Thursday morning. My guess is that we would have been spoken to if it was a busy weekend. Tried this on the recommendation of a friend. Pretty disappointed. All 3 people in my party had undercooked home fries and when they brought more out, those too were undercooked and hard. The fresh squeezed orange juice tasted more like the orange peel than orange juice. Prices were higher than expected. For example, $4.50 for a 3 piece side of bacon is a little much. The inside of the building is very well decorated like a country kitchen, which my wife loved. I agree, it was very cute. Our server was pretty inattentive and focused more on talking with her fellow staff members and a guy at the counter eating than on her other tables. Excellent little breakfast and lunch spot. Stopped there after sitting in traffic for a few on the main drag in North Conway. They were right there and ready to serve! Eclectic decor and clean space overall. Very friendly wait staff and wonderful family atmosphere. Prices are fair and the food is great! We also had a traditional Armenian roll, absolutely divine. An odd place. The food was fine and cheap, but the thing that got our attention was that someone went around the place putting fig leaves over the naked cherubs' stuff. Seriously disappointed with the food. We get up to North Conway a couple of times a year, and Priscilla's for the past few years has been our favorite breakfast spot, however something has definitely changed. The steak and eggs that I ordered is now a paper thin and cold, eggs severely undercooked and while our server was doing her best, the kitchen loudly complained about a simple request to grill onions. Awful experience, no manager visited our table when we were clearly unhappy with our experience, and all our server could do was apologize. We spent nearly $40 to leave unhappy and hungry. The owner was very friendly and nice and knows how to keep the kiddos busy while waiting for their meal. My son started getting a little antsy and she explained while she doesn't have crayons she likes to play "eye spy." She gives them a few items to look for. Unfortunately my son wanted to get up and look around instead of looking from his seat, ha ha. But we convinced him to sit and do it. The food was pretty good. I ordered the Big Breakfast with eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly over easy and the bacon was nice and crispy. I really enjoyed the crispy home fries (most places breakfast places undercook theres) but the serving size was too small for them. The prices were pretty reasonable, but I opted for the chocolate milk instead of the overpriced oj. I am not a big fan of freshly squeezed anyways. I think next time I will take a chance on something a little more interesting like the lobster eggs benedict. I was playing it safe. But safe was pretty delicious! We stopped in last Sunday for breakfast, not knowing anything about it. It's small, but the lovely owner greets you at the door and lets you know how long the wait will be. She told us 20 minutes for a party of four but we waited only 10. I had a spinach and feta omelette with a grilled, homemade blueberry muffin, both of which were delicious. My daughter had oatmeal which was made from scratch, and was so good--neither soggy or gooey. My husband had eggs with a side of pancakes, which were melt in your mouth. Coffee is better than average. It's really cute and homey inside. Lots of antiques and nicely decorated. I'd say it's a mix of country and grandma's house. Everyone was very nice and the food came quickly, but we did not feel rushed at all. A true gem! read more

Many others have commented about the warm welcome: I found it phony, but maybe I'm a jaded city boy. Our table service, however, was indeed delightful. Fast, thoughtful, pleasant, friendly but not chummy. I can't remember the last time I tipped over 20% for breakfast, but this waitress (Karen) was outstanding. Food was quite good. The lobster eggs benedict was pretty good (eggs benedict is a tough dish to pull off). Good waffles, pancakes and french toast. You have to pay extra for real maple syrup, but at least they had the option. Great veggie omelette with lots of broccoli and asparagus. Decent potatoes. Fresh-squeezed OJ worth the premium price. Bacon (often something cafés skimp on) was thick and yummy, though quite salty. Sausage would do a German restaurant proud. Waited 5 minutes for a table which was not bad at all. Our waitress had tables inside and out so it took quite a bit for her to come over to our table but she was very nice and it was not her fault! The hostess/owner had a conversation with pretty much everyone in the restaurant expect for my boyfriend and I. the only thing she said to us was "Are you guys behaving?" on the way to the bathroom. Clear bias towards older people. Food was okay and very overpriced. $11 for 3 pieces of bacon and 1 very small piece of ham. After reading more reviews, I read the same story 3 times about how they waited 40 mins for their food and asked and the waitress said they lost their slip. All were spanish people and noticed that they were treated unfairly, it seems she is racist. Delicious! Highly recommend. My boyfriend is fussy about his omelette, this place knows how to make them!! They mix everything in with the eggs. Homefries were very tasty. I got 2 eggs over easy cooked perfectly, with chocolate chip pancake and side of French toast. Everything was delicious, we will be back for sure!! read more
