Great place for CPR training and renewals. The instructor Brandon's personality isn't for everyone, but he's very accommodating. If you want him to repeat something, just ask. If you want him to slow down, just tell him. Overall, the instructor is knowledgeable and I thought the hands on was thorough and to the point. This was a great course and I was impressed with them. BE CAREFUL I did the online portion of the BLS class and had to come in to do the in portion portion. When I went I was told be there for my appointment at 1 PM but when I got there they said they didn't have a class for 2PM! So I had to wait over an hour! When I asked how long the class was suppose to take they said it would be 3 hours when it only should have been about 10 mins since I did the online portion! The receptionist said that I didn't Tell her that when I did. So now I have to come back on another day! Make sure that you make clearly what you're there for cause the receptionist won't pay attention to what you say! It was super frustrating because I had made it clear when I got there! So make sure when you're there to make it extra clear for them so you don't have to wait hours for a small appointment! read more

This place is great and I will 100% return for any recertifications I need. Instructor Jason is very kind and knows his stuff backwards and forwards. Acls and bls can be kind of a drudge but he makes it conversational and keeps you engaged. The woman who works at the front (the owner?) is super kind and accommodating as well. 10/02/2020 This is my second time here. CPR renewal is every 2 years. As a nurse we need to keep up with our certification. Brandon was the instructor like the last time. He is funny and knowledgeable. Class is not boring. Prism is a family owned business. You can get your cards within 24 hours which is awesome. Family is friendly and place is clean. I needed to take a class again as a requirement for school in order to go to clinical. The process was smooth, really love how easy it was to book online. All the equipment and devices that were needed were available for use and were all clean. This is the best class I have ever taken. Brandon is a great instructor, very straight forward, demonstrated everything, and is hilarious. I could not stop laughing, definitely made class more enjoyable. Not expecting my reply to be posted, so putting it here. Also, I can't post a picture on the rely. Yelp is free to move this to my reply. Sorry to start this off on a negative tone, because I want some positively here. So there will be a lot of positive to look at. However, you took 1 month to respond, yet only gave me 4 days to respond before posting your response to the public? Can you see the inequity here? While your response does not address the concerns, at all, your actions did. Namely, you did not have enough ACLS classes, now you do, so thank you for that. Your response was 1) "overlooked the procedure for scheduling an ACLS or PALS class"-That has nothing to do with not having enough classes, but I address, to your benefit, below. 2) You state calling is needed because we have 'homework" or the pre-course Self-Assessment. Huh? How does calling resolve that? Page 2 of the manual states there is a precourse and even your website states that in bold and red underline "The current American Heart Association text book and the completion of the pretest is required for both classes and must be brought to class." Therefore, maybe it is useful to remind people on the phone, but it is DEFINITELY NOT REQUIRED TO CALL. Again, no logic in your argument. I have the feeling you just cut and pasted this response, because it did not address my actions. Wouldn't it have been easier to just state, Thanks for the feedback, we have added more classes? You keep stating/assuming I "overlooked" things on the website in your response. Frankly, it has been so long, I don't remember if I saw the "Call to Schedule". I have a strong feeling I DID see "Call to Schedule". Again, this is not the point of my compliant, but since you brought it up...I go online to schedule, because I DON'T want to call. I prefer NOT talking to someone and enrolling online, even if it takes me a little longer. I have a suggestion, but first why. I'm sure there are many like me that don't want to call during normal business hours. Also, it is obvious you don't want to have an ACLS or PALS class unless you have enough enrolled; otherwise it is not worth the time and money. It is a business. I get it. You clearly have web development skills and/or tools, so suggestion: Why not let people know what the minimum enrollments to have a class and post how many are currently enrolled? If you must require participants to call, which I would NOT recommend (and you have not presented a good or logical reason to do so), then do us and you a favor and add one word, REQUIRED, "Call to Schedule-Required" For those of you that have gotten this far: I went to Rhythm Beat Cardiac Savers and gave them 5 stars - Had my best ACLS training experience there...EVER! Please see my comments on Yelp as to why. Overall recommendation, work on your professionalism. 1) respond to the complaint given, 2) don't put pictures of dogs drinking beer...it is very unprofessional, 3) monitor your trainers - I've had 2 females inform me that one of the male trainers spent a lot of time flirting in the class and just skimming over the material. I wish I had the name, but it has been over a month, so please monitor and hoping someone reports them. 4) Why does it say comment from Susie F and your name is Tom? Fix this, it is unprofessional as well. Again, Bravo for adding more classes for ACLS and PALS, my reason for the comment to begin with, but for all the unprofessionalism, I'm not changing my 1 star. I will actively ask friends that go there and change the star if I see improvement. Las Vegas is really a small medical community! read more

Such a great family business! Our instructor was Brandon; he made the class very fun and was very informative. Normally, CPR classes aren't the most entertaining, but Brandon did a great job teaching while being entertaining. The class was about 2.5 hours including the test. They're very fast in getting your card to you as well - it took less than an hour (from leaving the place) for them to email me my card. I would definitely come back here for future CPR classes. read more

I have been coming here once every 2 years for the past 6 years. The man who used to teach the class is now retired so the son teaches now who honestly isn't as good as the dad but he still gets you out about at least an hour before the scheduled tome the class is done depending on which course you're taking here. Maybe he had his mind on other things the day i came because he was kind of all over the place. Still i would recommend him and this class because they're fast and efficient and teach the class well. You get out quick and they're a lot cheaper than most certification places I've seen here. Simply book your appointment online or call in. read more

My wife and I took this class together. We learned what we needed to learn but was the most incredibly painful 2 hours We have ever spent in a CPR class.
