I hired this company for a concrete project, and the overall experience was frustrating. During the…read morework, large sections of my yard were torn up. Sod was removed and thrown on top of other grass, trenches were left open, and several sprinkler zones were damaged and responsibility was not taken. My yard wasn't perfect before, but it was grass, not loose dirt, mud, and scattered dead patches. To their credit, they did come back and refill the trenches, restore the holes, and fix the sprinkler issues after I pointed them out. However, I had to rearrange my own plans to be present and make sure the repairs were actually done, which shouldn't be necessary if things were handled correctly the first time. Even after the repairs, the side yard was not returned to its original condition. I attached photos of before they came and after the job. The removed sod was not properly replanted, the area was left uneven, and instead of actual sod replacement I was told they would "drop hybrid seed," which is not a proper fix for sod that was removed or destroyed. The photos show exactly how my yard was left. While the concrete itself turned out fine after coming back to fix mistakes, the landscaping/restoration side of the job fell far below professional standards. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company for concrete or landscaping work.

He is gifted at managing the project to meet the final vision and being receptive to any questions or concerns. We received daily communication to understand what was completed that day and what was next. Our yard was sloped and lumpy, and quite depressing. We really wanted some privacy and to level the yard for playing. All while managing any drainage issues that could arise. Jerry drew up a full master design, and we were blown away with the creativity and consideration he obviously put into it. From there, we started narrowing the project to fit into our budget. The scope of work included a full front and back yard renovation including new sod, a patio addition, pergola, lighting, irrigation and drainage, outdoor kitchen, and all new plants/stone borders. Our yard is now our favorite place and we have received a ton of compliments from neighbors. The process from design, budgeting and planning the scope of work, and then completion of the work took several months so my suggestion is to call and schedule a consultation before the spring busy season.

We had to pay to get things fixed or do it ourselves. Joseph saw the huge expense piling up after 4 weeks and decided he would try to extort us by sending us fraudulent billing to get more money out of us. We refused and told him not to darken our doorway again! He was rarely on the job site and had no idea what his guys were doing. If it wasn't for our cameras around the house, he might have convinced us of some pretty expensive lies. This guy has no idea what he is doing and relies on two guys (though he claims he has more working for him but even they told us it's just the two of them) who work unsupervised and he never even comes to see what they have done each day. If we saw him it was to drop off or pick up a trailer. He ALWAYS has some family issue going, or something at his house needing something, that keeps him from being around. He has no clue how to run a business. Has no ethics, and lies right to your face. We were never paid back for all the damage they did to our house through negligence, plus we paid for pavers we never had delivered. His funny math more than a few times showed he was trying to rip us off. His guys will say they will do something and no one says one word about it will cost more. They left the job and stopped showing up until we agreed to pay HIM more money we DID NOT OWE HIM when we had paid him for 75% of the job, and he wasn't even 50% done. I wouldn't trust this guy to put up a clothes line, much less anything more complex. If you're considering hiring them, I would strongly recommend against it. it's a shame I didn't see honest negative reviews from others before we hired him. Biggest regret of our lives! Now we are out even more money having to pay another company to fix this mess they made here. The pavers aren't even level! Looks like a roller coaster with all the hills and dips! Total nightmare!

He explained to me what the problem was and what he did to fix it. He also replaced a missing sprinkler head and helped reorient a couple of the sprinkler heads for me to make them more effective in watering my yard. He also identified a malfunctioning part that could easily be replaced in order to prevent substantial water loss should a pipe burst. He had to dig up my yard at the site of the leak, but put all of the soil and grass back very nicely when he was finished. The work was more affordable than I had anticipated, which was a relief!
