The work was to be done in November but we got a call and he said that he hurt his back and he would be there the third week of January. He asked if we wanted the deposit back or just keep it as is we said no we'll just see you in January. Well January came no Johnny's so we called. He said due to the weather he would be out in March. Well, March came and went and no Johnny's once again. We have been calling this company several times a week for the last three weeks leaving message upon message and no response. No text no call back no nothing. So at this point we're out of $500 and still don't have a contractor to do the work if I could leave a zero star review, that's what I would leave. It's a disgrace to rip people off and act as if they don't even exist. I pray that you're laughing when karma comes back on you because trust me one day it will.

Nice people on the phone and they scheduled a person to come out and do an estimate very quickly. Paul was nice, patient with all my questions but during and after the appointment via email. He got me the estimate quickly and then came back out again to do exact measurements for the final estimate. Again, just very helpful throughout the process. Waiting for the windows took a while so I think we did end up waiting like 2-3 months between that visit and getting them installed which was the only negative of our experience. Installation team was fantastic. I think there were 3-4 people there. Ed was in charge. Just nice guys, we felt comfortable having them in the house. Cleaned up very well. Everything looks great and very professionally installed. Kept us updated with some random things they found (rotting wood) when reframing the windows. Again answered questions anytime we had them. On time both coming and leaving. Cost seems reasonable for what we got and from speaking with friends but I'm no window expert. Planning on having them come back out next year to finish the rest of the windows. Good experience overall.

It feels like a major home renovation. And in a lot of ways, it was -- the last three windows that Louie and Ameon expertly replaced for me turned out to be fully rotted around the frames, unbeknownst to me. As with the previous job, they handled everything with extreme care and attention to detail. The house was again spotless when they left. I felt like I was in great hands throughout. They originally quoted them a certain price to install the windows that were purchased. Since it's now my house and no longer being worked on by the same contractor, they won't honor that price. My contractor now has been calling constantly too for a call back. Would not use archer if I were redoing the house again. Worst customer service and beyond unprofessional.

I had a window issue in my new home that I couldn't find anyone to help with. I contacted multiple contractors and different companies and it was clear my business was never important - I'd get ghosted for appointments, took months to get quotes, and more. I finally found Smart Shield and was contacted almost immediately after requesting a callback. The owner, Bryan, was so incredibly kind, thorough, and knowledgeable. He helped customize a plan for our home based on what would remedy our current situation and prevent future issues. The process to get started was easy (and very digital which earns extra bonus points in my book) and it was a few weeks until installation. The installation went great and I've never had an issue with the windows. It went so well, that we had Smart Shield come back and put in new doors for us, more window replacements, and replace our siding. While that was a bigger job, the process was just as wonderful. The installation guys were all incredibly nice and polite, especially Steve and Jimmy who came back on Saturday to finish after storms on Friday kept them from completing the job that day. I purchased an older home in 2017 and the siding did not look bad but 6 years later I noticed lots of problems. My biggest problem was it was always so cold in my home. I had a few windows replaced and the attic insulated but that did not really help. When the windows were replaced I noticed significant deterioration underneath the siding and asked the contractor about it. He told me it happens and replaced the windows but did not reframe them. I thought about selling my house to avoid dealing with the problems. I had three different companies give me an estimate for the siding. The first was way too expensive. The second company Cherry Roofing and Siding in Cherry Hill, gave me a competitive quote but were unable to do the job. . I later found out that the company is having internal problems and they are not doing a great job for many of their clients. I was very fortunate that they never touched my house. I almost gave up, but then I decided to use the Better Business Bureau. I found American Construction. They have an A+ rating. They are also located in Cherry Hill. When I called I was able to talk to one of the owners Gregg. I told him about my negative experiences with the other companies and he promised me nothing but integrity. Gregg kept his promise, his team was incredible. As I said earlier my house is old and had lots of deterioration underneath the siding and because the siding was poorly installed there was also some water damage. I expected the final price to be more than the original quote, but it was well worth it. American Construction replaced all of the damaged plywood, gave me new insulation , framed the windows and put on James Hardie siding. Not only did they restore my house, they were quick and professional. They started on Monday and by Thursday the project was finished. Friday they came back and cleaned up, placing all of my personal items back in their original spots. Doing something this major on your house can be very stressful and inconvenient. . American Construction took all my stress away and I did not suffer any inconvenience at all.. I feel like I have a brand new house. I feel so much better about living here now that I know what is going on underneath the siding. I have peace and joy about my home because of American Construction. FINALLY got someone out and he said he fixed it but they're still leaking. Waiting for them to return our call (again) because the gutters are still leaking. They're under warranty but they still charge us $300 for a "service call." Really regret using this company.

I wanted to go with a local contractor with a good solid reputation. I know people that had work done by them in the past and recommended Tortorice. They are a well established contractor in the area for over 30 years. So I called them to come out and look at it to see about either a repair or a reroof. Some of the wood on the back of the roof needed to be replaced. We decided on having the whole roof done even though the roof was only 5 years old. I just wanted it done right. We went with 30 year warranty shingles. They even provide financing through a local bank but I opted to get a home improvement loan through my credit union to pay for it. They took care of the permits, yard clean up, and dumpster removal. Work was done in 1 full day. The foreman and the crew were friendly and professional. While the price was higher than I expected, I would rather pay a bit more for higher quality work than pay less for shoddy work. Been there, done that.
