Very Disappointing Experience Pristine Restoration LLC was referred by Blue Diamond Plumbing after my water heater broke and flooded my garage. They promised to work with my insurance (Travelers and Home Shield) and restore my home, but instead made me sign a document locking me into their services. They charged $3,240 for water mitigation, which the insurance paid, but when it came time to finish the drywall and repair the water heater stand, they refused to complete the job for the approved $2,000 balance and demanded over $5,000 instead. When I didn't agree, they quit and left a huge hole in my garage. Very unprofessional and unreliable. I would not recommend this company. read more

A pleasant end to a bad experience.. Pristine Restoration made my water damage experience bearable. My first encounter was with Tiffany from their dispatch.. most pleasant and patient person ever. She went into detail explaining the whole renovation process. What to expect ...how to deal with getting information needed to insurance company to get process started. No question was left unanswered. Once insurance was approved she explained step by step what next procedure would be to get work done. First the water was removed by a great team that came immediately removed water damaged floors, walls and ceiling. They brought a treatment to eliminate any chance of mold growth then left blowers to dry out all wetness. If you have to have furniture and belongings removed to a storage area while work is being done their PACK OUT and BUILD BACK team are best! They handle your belongings with care. Every item is accounted for tagged and returned back to original space. The drywall workers, the painters, the flooring crew all took such pride in their work. They were all professional yet friendly. What was so amazing about this whole experience was my visit from the owner of the company. I remember my father would say there was a time when "a man's word was his bond" Gary is that man!! Every thing he promised he did! I was pleased with the professionalism and punctuality of all those who work for him. You can set your clock by them. If they say 8:00 AM...they will be there. Typically don't write reviews but after looking at all the flaws in the service provided I figured I would in this case. Pristine was partnered with my home warranty provider ( blue diamond plumbing) which is the only reason I came across the company. First issue equipment delivery was scheduled to be delivered at a certain time that fit my prior to work. We had this time agreed upon via email and text. The rep shows up Alittle under an hour later even with me being the first appointment of the day. 2nd issue during the construction stage staff member enter my home with ringing the door bell or knocking. Within the same visit we walked the damaged area agreed on the take down only for me to return with more deconstruction taking place ultimately requiring more on the rebuild. 3rd issue, after receiving the invoice both myself and insurance company highlighted multiple charges which did not take place. Ex: disconnecting / connecting washer & Dryer $500, something they never touched and was just added on . Another charge Ex: cleaning up raw sewage. This was a water heater Leak and no sewage was involved. I have far more details and names of employees but an all. Not an experience I'd recommend and I'd push individuals to shop around before making their selection. read more

Within an hour Andy arrived at my house, found the leak and helped guide me through the process of submitting a claim to my homeowner's insurance policy. They submitted the claim, worked with my homeowners insurance, and created a schedule to build back the affected areas. We had a leak in our master shower that was draining into the kitchen downstairs. After having a plumber find and fix the leaky shower arm, our home insurance referred us to Pristine Restoration. They did a fantastic job of drying out the damage to the bathroom and kitchen ceiling and restoring the rooms. After we thought the work was done, there was still a leak. I contacted Pristine, and they sent a supervisor, Andy, out within an hour to verify that the shower arm was not leaking, verify that the replacement shower pan was properly sealed and caulked, and to look for where the water was coming from. It turned out that we had 2 leaks, and the plumber had only caught 1. In addition to the shower arm leaking behind the wall, the pipe that drains the shower was also cracked and leaking. Pristine cut into the kitchen ceiling to fix the 2nd leak, and then restored everything (again) within 2 days. And they didn't charge us anything extra for the 2nd round of repairs, even though missing the 2nd leak was the plumber's mistake, and not Pristine's mistake. They could have easily said that fixing a 2nd leak was outside their original scope of work, and could have charged us thousands of dollars extra to fix it. But they didn't! The staff was very friendly and professional, answered all of our questions, and addressed all of concerns. They were also prompt. When they said workers would be at the house at 8 am, people showed up at 8 am. Not at 10 am, or 11 am. It made it very easy for us to plan our work schedule around the repairs. They went above and beyond to make sure that they left our home in better shape than they found it. Pristine made the experience of an "involuntary bathroom remodel" as pleasant as it could possibly be (under the circumstances).
