Thomas, the appliance technician, arrived a few hours after my service repair call on my GE washing machine which no longer emptied water and spun. He quickly diagnosed as a failed pump. He ordered a new one and in two days, returned and replaced the pump drain in about 20 minutes. Called them only because they said they could come out a couple days earlier than other companies to repair fridge. Waited around on a Saturday and they said tech was backed up and couldn't come till Monday. He did show then, diagnosed oroblem said I had to pay up front for service and parts. The biz would schedule an appointment, then another no-show and reschedule. Calls often weren't returned. When he did show up again he said the new part was defective and he'd have to order another and promised to call when it came in and he would quickly install it. Part arrival date came and went. Never called, didn't return calls. Finally he returned my call today and said part would come in a few days. We cancelled seevice and asked for a refund, which he said he would do. Will be contesting charge via credit card company if refund doesn't show up soon. Bottom line: Promises to show but doesn't, calls usually go to office AI, not human being. Rarely returned. This company is a scam. They came out to my home checked out my dishwasher so they needed to order a part. I waited over a week for the part and repeatedly called only to get an AI robot to try and reschedule so that they could install the part. The technician finally returned and told me I needed another part and that it would be in 3 to 5 days. So I waited again appointment was scheduled and then a series of five no show no calls up until yesterday. And I decided I no longer wanted to do business with this fake scam company. I noticed to be true because I called another repair service on the cape and he told me that he receives a lot of calls about this company and that they have a very bad reputation and next time I will tell further into the real reviews instead of reading the fake ones. According to them, they don't keep any parts! But if you go ahead and order the part you know you need, they charge an additional $75 to penalize you if they install it. And if you know the problem with your appliance, they want to still charge you for a diagnostic + labor for installing + $75 penalty for ordering your part. What a scam! read more

These guys are terrible! Save yourself the aggravation and avoid them. Their customer service is nonexistent. No live body answering the phone, just "leave a message and we'll get back to you ". Always an excuse as to why they're late if they show up at all. Came to our home 5 times over a few months and the clothes dryer still doesn't work consistently. Always with the excuse, "just need to order a different part and it will work fine". The service guy Tom is nice enough, but judging from the work result... clearly beyond his scope. Been calling for two days and can't get ahold of anyone. On May 18th someone came out to asses and order a part. Then on may 26th someone was suppose to come out and the owner drove from Connecticut to the cape to meet him and they couldn't make it for some reason. We rescheduled for today and we haven't heard anything from anyone about today's appt. I can't get a real person on the phone. Already prepaid $600 for a part and have been ghosted. I wish there was somewhere to put 0 stars. Horrible! Waiting almost a month to fix my washer and I have a warranty. They're saying warranty companies want them to try the cheapest part first to see if that fix the problem. Mind you they have both parts- now they just blew that. Never put the "expensive" part on which should have been put on first to avoid all this. Now I'm told it's another week or so for the "cheapest" part again. One day they say they're coming and then the day of they say oh no I don't have them parts. My biggest question right now is what happen to the expensive part once the cheapest part is but on and say it works? Do they send it back to the company or keep it for another project! If we could give a 0 rating we would. We have experienced what others have posted. They show up quickly but then after that it all falls apart. At this point we paid them a total of $733, which included the $150 Service call, Labor $70 (which not sure what they consider labor) Part $503 and shipping $10. They told us about a week for the part to come in, after 10 days was told that it was in and they could come out on that Friday (2 weeks after initial visit). Got a call the day before (Thursday) with the 2 hour window. On that Friday, day of service, they called and was told that it actually wasn't our part that came in but it should be in that day, if it did they would come on Saturday at no extra service charge. But of course that didn't happen. They scheduled to come on Monday. And mind you, I had to call that morning to find out what time, but when they did show up, the part had been delivered - BROKEN. One would think they would have checked the part before showing up as you could visibly see the broken part. When he left he said he was going to call the supplier to discuss getting another part. Which when he ordered it, we were told there were only a couple of these parts left available bc the dishwasher is an older model. My husband and I discussed this as it was now over 2 weeks and we would rather a refund, less the service call. We called to discuss this with them and they brushed us off saying they would call back right after Thon got off the phone with the supplier. We stressed we wanted a refund at that point. No one ever called us back. We have called and spoken with them and were eventually told they would refund us but it has now been 2 weeks and NOTHING. They won't answer our calls either. read more

Terrible experience. I had a problem with my dryer tripping breakers. They came out and replaced dryer thermostat kit (which seems unrelated to me) for $365. That (not surprisingly) did not fix the problem. They came out a second time (no charge... except my time) and failed to fix the problem again. Said is was not economically fixable and refused any refund. Not sure if they are incompetent, dishonest, or both. Plenty of 1 star experiences below - proceed at your own $ risk. read more

Was charged $595 to diagnose the problem and order a new pump - but when the part kept getting delayed I got a second opinion and was told the problem was a simple kink in the water line. Easy fix. Pump not even broken. What a ripoff! read more

DO NOT USE PRO-APPLIANCE IN FALMOUTH,MA! They will take your money and claim they don't have the part to fix your device so will need to order it. They will not show up to install the part and not answer the phone on day of appointment or return emails. We read other reviews about people waiting all day with no phone call from company once this happened to us. Wish we saw them earlier.
