Tech called that afternoon and told me nothing more could be done and I would need to buy a new appliance and that parts would be refunded but diagnosis and labor would be charged. Took over 2 weeks to receive check for parts that did not cover shipping. So paid for a misdiagnosis and labor and shipping for unneeded parts. Was able to have another company come out , identify the problem and fix it. No diagnosis fee. No upfront charge to order parts. No payment until fixed. And correctly identified the problem. Have called the company that referred this business to me to tell them to stop referring this business.

Mid Cape Appliance is amazing. I will never call another company again…read more James has been incredible in helping me with issues involving my dishwasher, refrigerator, and washing machine. I originally used another company to fix my dishwasher because it was covered under warranty. They came out five times, and the problem was still never fixed. Finally, I called Mid Cape Appliance. They came out the very next day, diagnosed the problem, and within two days James had the part and my dishwasher was back up and running. A few months later, I got a new refrigerator and the water stopped working, so there was no ice or water coming from the dispenser. Since the refrigerator was only one month old, I called Whirlpool. They said it was under warranty and sent their local company, but it took them three months just to come out, and they still couldn't tell me what was wrong. So I called James at Mid Cape Appliance. He came out the next day, found the problem with the water line, and repaired it for me on the spot. It was fantastic service. Most companies would have charged me for a diagnostic visit and then charged me again to come back and fix it, but not James. He handled everything in one visit. Then my washing machine started making a funny noise. This time, I called Mid Cape Appliance first. They scheduled a service call within a few days. James came out, explained the problem, ordered the parts, and a few weeks later called me back to schedule a time that worked for me and fixed it. I now call Mid Cape Appliance whenever I have a problem with an appliance because they are friendly, on time, and get the job done quickly and professionally.

He also showed me two tips on my dishwasher and two tips on my refrigerator to better maintain it. I really appreciated Tim taking about 10 minutes to show me all of the tips. I have tried for months to receive these rebates, many emails and calls with no response. Finally reached the COO Jay Upton and explained my situation with months of frustration. His ridiculous suggestion was to return the appliances which means hiring an electrician and plumber to disconnect them for pickup. I tried to reach the owner several times but no response. In addition, KAM sent the wrong refrigerator and requested me to pay a 30% return fee and another delivery charge which I refused to pay. Their sales manager Frank even stated there were no GE rebates at that time. After I provided documentation on the rebates given to me from Jack, Frank said to call GE. I contacted GE and their rebate company and since months passed, GE said to contact the dealer for their assistance. KAM provided no assistance, made excuse after excuse and I never received these rebates $800 rebates promised. I thought I would support local businesses instead of the Big Box stores. It was a Mistake. The story they post on customer satisfaction is a joke. I strongly suggest you shop elsewhere. Hopefully the owner will contact me after this reading this review. Talks a good game, delivers on nothing. Hired to replace my entire HVAC system. Eric claimed to be a preferred diamond Mitsubishi contractor which was also a lie. Was promised a two day install, took over 3.5 months and never finished!! Left the jobs a huge mess, had to hire a roofer to fix a hole he left with a pipe dangling out! Nothing but delays and excuses. Tried to do electrical work on his own and he's not a licensed electrician, I had to hire and pay an electrician to fix his failed attempts. Never passed inspection and he stopped responding to texts, calls and emails! I was forced to hire another HVAC company, BRIGGS MECHANICAL. Outstanding! They were amazing, They had to reset lines, install pans under units, reclaim all refrigerant, reinstall proper amounts, set and mount air handlers (he left the wobbly and crooked), rerun PVC piping, re-run pinched copper lines from splitter unit, install 3 kumo cloud devices which Eric claims were installed (no surprise, another lie). Overall a horrible experience. This is not all of it, there's even more details that is not worthy of my time to articulate. I just hope people can see this review before hiring this pretender. Contractors like Eric give the HVAC industry a black eye. He takes no pride in his work and has a major lack of integrity!

Buyer Beware!!! I'm…read morenot recommending KAM Appliances in Hyannis due to service parts price gouging. I was charged $237 oven ignitor for the same item found easily and readily available for $23.50! I spoke to the GM and he said the price I paid was discounted. I told him this was hard to believe. He even justified the price of having it in the truck even though I think by charging close to $200 per hour would necessitate having common inventory readily available. Two ignitors , less than an hours work cost me over $750. The tech informed me of the ignitor cost after the installation was complete. He even said only one of the ignitors was bad however prudent to change both out. Now the marketing manager says price is justified with the service and customers have choices. I disagree with the price, however agree with choice and won't be using or recommending KAM. ..... No wonder why Amazon is doing so well. Please share this message.
