No one bothered to mention over the phone that you need an appointment. Then at check-in, I'm told it's 45 minutes to an hour per gun. For four guns, that's basically my entire day gone. That's not service, that's incompetence. Ever since the switch from Cabela's to Bass Pro Shops, this place has clearly gone downhill. Poor communication, terrible process, and a complete lack of respect for people's time. If this is the new standard, it's no surprise this place is losing its reputation. It needs a serious overhaul, because right now it's inefficient, disorganized, and honestly just frustrating to deal with.

Sportsman's advertises a price match guarantee, however the guarantee is that they don't price…read morematch. I was told by their customer service if I find a cheaper price online they would match it. I did find the items much cheaper online and when I sent sportsman's the proof, they would not beat the prices and changed their story yet another time. I would also like to add the sportsman's credit card charges 33% interest and they charge $3.50 per month if you choose not to go paperless. Sportsman's charges higher prices if you order through them online. Their in store prices are cheaper, so when sportsman's offers you a discount ( online only) your not getting a discount. They raise the prices online then offer consumers who open a card a discount. I've gone into the sportsman's store in Bend Oregon looked at a safe with a sign saying on sale with the original price of .99 cents higher than the sale price. Honestly just stay away from sportsman's and save money.

Working with Jole at the gun counter I was told I could not hold the gun with out the trigger lock on it. The trigger lock had a cable connected to the counter. I get it. They don't want someone running out with it. However Jole had already asked for my ODL and had it behind the counter. I told him he could also hold my wallet and money if he like but I needed to hold the gun with out the lock on it to see if it fit my hand. nope. No can do. I told him I geld very disrespected ! he treated me like a thief. With the great feeling of disrespect, I just encountered I will be taking my business elsewhere to a completely different store for all of my needs.

She yelled from across the store at us to wear mask or she was going to throw us out of store. CDC has clearly stated masks are not needed under new guidelines. She was incredibly immature and has no proper training on how to deal with public. She should stay in the back unloading trucks or something. The attendant that helped me was so helpful, especially as I tried on the items before I bought them. He was very kind. There was a long line and they ran out of receipt paper, so like the person in front of me I asked for a texted receipt to not slow things down. When I got home and checked, they didn't discount some of the end items which equated to around $15 that should have been discounted. Not sure if they are doing this on purpose, but my time and gas is worth more than it would take to go back and ask for that back. Just be aware and check your receipt before leaving.
