The service and kindness gos higher than a 5 star in my book.the selection is awesome many bikes and the stuff to go with it.the value is on high status I got mine threw them but also church at the park.i will definitely be going here and only here for my bike needs,and my bike essentials also.and if you have a foodstamp card even better will give you some off of your total. He is top notch and a very qualified bike technician and a wonderful person. Horrible service, dropped off my bike for a quick 5 minute fix and a week later they still haven't even touched it, even after I called to check up and to ask why it was taking so long I am just going to fix it myself. Haven't even had this bike for a full year and I've had 2 problems already. I purchased this bike from here. When I came in with my bicycle (that I hadn't ridden in about 10-15 years the person that helped me just started working on it. I had the brakes adjusted, added a kickstand, blinky lights, basket, mirror, tires inflated, and I don't even know what they did. It took over an hour and he was happy to do it, on the spot, without even an appointment. I felt I was treated like royalty. Then the price - less than $50! What??? Excellent place to shop for a bike. Initially I was greeted by a man who seemed to be on another planet. He asked what I was shopping for and I joking said, "A bike?" He asked how much I wanted to pay and I said I don't know. He then directed me towards the used bikes. After pointing at bikes I finally said, "Hey, I'm less concerned about price than I am about comfort." It was about that time that Jesus walked up and saved me! The rest of my shopping experience was great! Jesus picked a bike that was comfy and I rode it around, but then my eye spotted the ONE. As with all salesmen who get five stars, he was patient with my hemming and hawing. Well, I ended up buying not one, but TWO bikes. Matching. I could not be happier! Plus he was very passionate about helping those without, and I learned that this place is non-profit. I will absolutely return to buy my bike rack. read more

This place is fantastic! They sell used bikes and used parts (as well as new.) They have bins of parts to dig through and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. They also have a spot to wrench on your own bike if you want. Jesus was super helpful to my partner and I when we come gather used parts to do bike repair on our own. We come here every year and it's always a great place with great people. Highly recommend! read more

Went in to repair a cheap bike for my kid; left with a beautifully refurbished preowned Swinn. The experience was quite enjoyable: the staff were friendly and efficient, and the store on Broadway was bright and clean.  I had to return a few weeks later for maintenance and was helped by Christopher, who graciously answered all my questions and assured me the crew there was more than capable of handling all my biking needs. What a terrific organization and such nice people! Twice I've gone in there with a hard luck story and no budget and the first time got some decent pedals out of the free pedal box. A flat tire the next time, and they couldn't be more helpful. After getting help, I got on the web and read through their very nice website and found out they recondition bikes for those who need them and can't afford a reliable bike. This is a down to earth outgoing special bike shop that will take the time to help you for 5-10 minutes and not charge you but when they do charge you it's about half the cost of any other bike shop. This shop is the best! I brought my 8yo son's bike in to evaluate some broken spokes, they got me right in and we decided to just replace the wheel. Even while we waited on our repair I was asked by another staff person if we needed help or if we had any questions.
