Juaquin Neault received full payment from me, but refused to complete the work…read more I hired Juaquin Neault to hang onto porcelain tiled walls three floating vanities, which don't have any legs and hang off the wall. He gave me a price. I paid him in full. The vanities soon started drooping, coming off the wall. The vanities are supposed to be held onto the walls with brackets. There are four holes in each bracket. Juaquin installed screws in only two of the four holes in most of the brackets. One could see the brackets drooping along with the vanities. Four holes were in each bracket for a reason. Four screws needed to be used and installed in each bracket. Juaquin did not do this. The vanities and brackets drooping would make sense since Juaquin used only half the screws required in many of the brackets. I told Juaquin the vanities were drooping and when he came over we found out why and that was he used only half the screws required in most of the brackets. I told him on that day to put in four screws in all the brackets of all the vanities. Juaquin did minimal work that day, propping up one of the vanities so that the drooping bracket can be moved back up. That's pretty much all he did. He certainly did not install any more screws. Juaquin said he will come in the next day to do the work. The next day he came. He installed some more screws in the brackets, but not all the screws required in all the brackets, and he left. I texted and asked him when he will come back in to install the rest of the screws required in all the vanities. I even sent him some photos documenting he did not install all screws required and pointed out one of the other vanities is still drooping and that the third vanity will likely eventually droop too as this third vanity is perhaps 70% heavier than the ones already drooping and this third one has missing screws also. Juaquin refused to respond to my texts. When I called him, he demanded I have to pay to him more money for him to come and do the work, that is compete the job. I told him why, he had not done the work properly to begin, I already paid him in full, and all I'm asking him to do is the work he didn't complete and that I already paid for. Nonetheless, Juaquin refused and demanded that if he comes out again I have to pay him more. Juaquin said he already came out twice, yet he still didn't install screws into all the holes in all the brackets and another vanity was still dropping. Juaquin refused to come out unless I paid him more. I will not be paying him more and now I have to hire another party to do the work and pay them even more.

After reading the stellar reviews, I decided to reach out to both companies even though it was very close to 5 PM (closing hours). My first instinct was to call Blomberg since they were the original makers of this glass sliding door but Blomberg was closed so I called Dick's. Thankfully, Jay answered - he knew exactly what type of door I had and graciously got me an appointment for Wednesday afternoon which was only 2 days after the incident. All I had to do was measure the sides and he said they could replace it the same day. I couldn't believe it, I thought I'd have to live with this broken glass for much longer. He was kind enough to suggest setting a drop cloth to collect the glass incase it fell to the ground and caused a big mess so I did that the same evening.On Wednesday, Nathan (Nate) gave me a courtesy call before showing up on time and was very friendly and professional. He was ready to install the glass and realized that the border didn't match my current colors which was more of a dark brown instead of the chrome one they had in stock. I really appreciated the disclaimer because even though it was as a minor detail, it would have definitely been noticeable especially since the other side didn't match. They didn't know what color mine was because it was somewhat of an urgent request so everything was done over the phone. Nate said it would take about 1-2 weeks to get a custom order and they could come out and install it same-day. I opted to wait and he gave me the ETA as soon as got back in his van. I was worried about my glass falling and Nate offered to break it down for me and clean it up. I got to watch the whole process and it was very fascinating. Thank you for cleaning that up for me Nate!Nate called me this morning and arrived with a very nice gentleman by the name of Ivan. They arrived at 9:25 AM and were done the job by 10 AM. They cleaned all the nasty gunk and dirt that built up over the many years of the sliding door collecting and and were both so nice and fun to chat with. I can't tell you how much this stressed me out but I couldn't have asked for a faster and more professional glass replacement experience. Definitely, a two thumbs up for Nate, Ivan and Jay for the all-star job!If you need your glass replaced, I would highly recommend these guys. It worked perfectly. A few days later it failed again, and they quickly came out to fix it. One thing led to another, and they ended up cutting/grinding 1/8th inch from the aluminum sliders at the doors bottom (the sliders that protect the rollers). It's like a new door now, and they didn't charge extra for the enhancements they made. These are good folks!

Dave told me that he carries only Anlin but their double pane windows with a sound package and it's so good as triple pane windows. The quote I got was very detailed and included window specifications. It was very handy for a geek like me who wanted to verify and confirm all the details. In my recearch I found that Anlin sound package windows reduced noise by 29 decibles, comparing to 30 decibels for triple pane Pella, which confirmed Dave's statement. I had some limited availabilities due to my schedule and Dave was good at meeting me half way to find a working times for the installation. On the day of the install the team worked calmly, steadily, with great attention to the detail. It's been three months so far, but I've really enjoyed the noises reduction, temperature stability, and the high definition views these new windows provide.

The price was $2,253.77. I was very disappointed in the quality of the work and the performance of the employees. The phone representative stated the whole door had to be replaced because they were pre-hung. The installer was sent to measure the door. At that appointment I emphasized to the installer that I wanted to inspect the door frame after he had removed the door. When he returned with the new door I reminded him I wanted to inspect the frame after he removed the door. I was home and he knocked on the door to ask if he could use an electrical outlet. The next time he knocked on the door was after he had installed the new door and frame. He stated that he "decided not" to show me the underlying wood, that he "had looked at it". I called the company. The boss sent the installer back out to remove the door so I could inspect the frame and there was dry rot, so the installer had to replace that also. Another phone representative called me a week later stating that I owed $1,540.70. I had paid $730.00, and $810.67 and still owed $713.10. I wrote a letter to the boss and sent it with a check for $713.10. The phone representative called me again 5 days later and said I still owed $730.00. I spoke to the boss, who claimed not to have seen the letter. After some discussion, the boss said he just wanted me to be happy. The attached photos are of the dry rot that remained after the door was installed. It was exposed when he removed the new door so I could see the frame. It has now been replaced. I am disappointed that the BBB does not publish negative reviews, and will not rely on BBB again.

We had an extensive exterior remodel done to our 70+ year old house. Exterior siding, exterior paint, new exterior lighting, new front door, replaced the side garage door, added a sliding glass door to our master bedroom, and a good amount of electrical work to round everything out. We worked with Ruslan and Gabe as the project managers while Nazer, Eric, and Jacob were the crew that did most of the exterior work. Edward and Vaska did the painting. Nazer and his crew were prompt every working day and they WORKED from morning to closing time. It was July/August and HOT but the guys worked with no complaints. Every step of the way, Ruslan, Gabe, and Nazer kept us in the loop and addressed every question or gripe we had. Every day, Nazer and his guys helped set up our dog fencing to keep our dogs out of their work area and would help break it down in the afternoon. They CLEANED the job site EVERY working day. Nails, screws, scraps, dust, etc was all cleaned up. Six months later......heat, cold, rain, wind.....everything is holding up great. The fit and finish of everything is excellent.
