I have been going to this Pro for years. By far my favorite Gym out there! The gym is really nice size and listens to the members so often get new equipment or changes when the majority ask for it! Otherwise, there is a large range of equipment from Heavy free weights to assisted machines and the community reflect that so with a wide range of people attending. It really is a community gym without feeling too niche to scare any beginners away. Overall, I love it here - The culture is welcoming and respectful, so I've learned so much from just asking around! 11/10 Would recommend! You'll get in the best shape of your life!!! read more

Was a member here for quite sometime. Had issues canceling membership with them which ended up in filing a dispute with my card company. I ended up leaving due to the fact this gym is not sanitary in the least bit (gum stuck to equipment, broken rusty cables on machines, some people use chalk and don't clean up their mess etc) note: this was all during Covid. Manager is rude and standoffish. Last but not least the group of "professional" powerlifters that show up and take over the squat rack and deadlift platform for the entire night almost every night make it almost impossible to use. Pro Fitness is a great gym to workout at. As you walk in you are greeted by the front desk associates who are there to assist you when needed. The locker rooms/bathrooms are very clean. I'm a new member, a little over a year. POSITIVES Overall, decent gym. Can't beat the price. With older equipment, they tend to break down, however, PFG, is on top of it when that does happen. Staff is nice. They handled Covid protocols nicely. Normally, I'd rate the gym 4 stars... NEGATIVES However, I'm considering canceling my membership and going back to Lifetime. I'm tired of the knuckle-heads that use multiple pieces of equipment. I'm not talking two pieces where members may be super-setting, that's fine, I'm talking 3-4 pieces of equipment!!! And, for the most part, it's not as a result of tri-sets, or giant sets, they'll use one piece, rest, go to another piece, rest, etc... Given Covid, it's not like you want to work in with the person in between their sets. This is done consistently by multiple members. As an example, recently, during lunch (the Manager is there), a moron had the following machines in use at the same time - Leg Press, Hack Squat, Leg Extension, Hamstring Curl, Calf Raise. Now, there's always alternative exercises that can be done, however, this is ridiculous!!! Sometimes, you'll have multiple bozos doing this at the same time. MANAGEMENT - You need to disallow this type of awful gym etiquette. Some gyms only allow members one piece of equipment at a time. read more

Crooks, nothing but crooks. They bought the old gym and all of the old gym's members and started charging them annual fee's vs monthly. I was dinged for $120 when I was on a monthly $10/month plan. I wanted a refund but it was against their policy. The executives are money sucking vampires who practice shady business tricks. To further my point, the gym is owned by a shell company and none of the executive profile or history is transparent. They actual staff is nice and friendly though. I would've gave no stars, but that was not a option. I started with Cardinal Fitness a few years ago. Now it's Pro Fitness. I suspended my account once gym started 2 open. I was not safe. They said wait 2 Sept and see how u feel. So I did. I went in 2day to cancel memebership because of Covid and gyms r not the safest. Once i was there canceling 2 out of 3 people came into gym with no MASK. Despite there are 2 signs u need a mask entering. 1 on the main door and 1 on door entering gym. But no one is watching who comes in. This GYM is not safe. read more

I started as a member at Cardinal Fitness. I signed up for classes and loved my trainer. I moved away for a couple of years and came back to the area. I renewed my membership and it has been a year now and 50 lbs. The staff at Pro Fitness is wonderful. Not only do they work there, but they work out there as well. Maureen who is the manager has an unbelievable wealth of knowledge not only with exercise but with nutrition as well. I now split my time with her and David the Assistant Manager. They offer TRX classes and different weight lifting classes. Who would of thought at 53 I am dead lifting 50lbs. The club has convenient hours. It is clean and the machines are well kept. This is a gym that you do not feel any intimidation by anyone. There are all different types of people in here. Young, old, big and small. I have bad knees and my trainers are always working with me during my classes to do the exercises that I can do comfortably. I never heard of a gym that calls you to see how you are doing (other review). You are responsible for yourself. read more

Location was bought out by another club. All of my information was shared with new ownership. I was then billed by both clubs for use of the facility. When I called they told me I could not cancel my membership, even though my contract was with the original club. Ridiculous. read more

Pro Fitness is a pretty spacious, well kept gym with round the clock staff on hand so there will always be someone there in case of emergencies or you have any questions. The trainers David and Daniel are knowledgeable and push you to do your best; they offer suggestions to improve or offer alternative exercises due to pain in specific areas or if you can't do specific exercises. I love the joking camaraderie I have with them and the rest of the staff. I really admire seeing a wide variety of talent levels, ages, and body types commit to working out; I myself have lost fifty pounds in a year and I love working out 3-4 times per week. I've done several personal and group training classes and I think it really helped me know how to workout correctly and choose what exercises to do. Regarding other reviews, I've never seen many places that make sure to contact everyone out of the blue to remind them about any missed or upcoming payments. With that being said, I honestly think I have been emailed every time they took out money and when I had a personal training session. I personally had to tell them I had a new debit card due to me losing my old one. They fixed it within minutes. Some things are just quite frankly your responsibility to let them know as they're not mind readers. In summary, this is a great gym that starts at $10 per month. So come in and see for yourself. read more

I joined Cardinal fitness in June 2017. I cancelled my membership with ABC Financial (Cardinal's billing company) in May 2018 (one year later). I noticed that Pro Fitness continued billing me. When I called Pro Fitness to have them stop billing me, they told me that I had to pay an additional year membership fee and a cancelation fee. When I told them that I called ABC Financial and cancelled, they told me that is my problem (since they don't work with ABC Financial) I still had to pay these fees and if I didn't they would send me to collections. When I told them that I never signed a contract with Pro Fitness they informed me that all the contracts were transferred over from Cardinal, along with my credit card information. I would not recommend anyone going to Pro Fitness. read more

Receiving notices over email saying that the card I had on file was unable to process and was billed extra as a result. I called the club and personnel said that they couldn't see the details or the transaction and to speak to a manager at a different time. I then emailed "Pro Fitness" and never got a response. This is, by the way, the same card I carry with me for all purchases and it works everywhere else but here apparently. I asked the front desk several days later and again, no manager. The next month, same issue. Sent 2nd email and never got a response so I literally just called and the number (2x) from the website and a verizon wireless auto recording played back to me. I miss the old management. This new management is so impersonal. I paid (my fault intirely) for a membership and hadn't step foot into the gym for a whole year. No one ever called or sent a letter on any concern of my well being, but continued to take my money. Like i said my fault intirely, but i ended having my debit card replaced which i forgot to notify the gym about and ended up missing an auto payment. Well ten bucks turned into a 35 dollar payment (25 late fee) and still no one took interest in to check to see why i havent been in the gym since august 2016 but was gonna keep charging me and in addition a late fee. I think at some point they could have just cancelled the account for inactivity or something. The only corresponds i get is when they didnt get their free money. I know for a fact they can see inactivity, because they old management use to give me a courtesy call to check if they should put my account on hold because of an injury or what not. Just funny they can get a hold of me when the money stopped coming. Also while i did work out there was this guy who i thought was just a customer but actually was an employee (he workout at the same time as me and my friend so i never seen him on the clock)who pretty much fat shamed me and my friend. He would yell things loudly to draw attention to us in specific areas and it was quite embarrassing. My friend called up threating to cancel her membership and was profusely appologized to because the manager was to witness it but never interviened. This gym used to be awesome. When it was run by the former owners and managers it was a clean, personable, and enjoyable gym to attend. Since ownership changed the gym has dropped off entirely. The gym has gotten more dirty and the new owner is unable to do simple things like fix a water fountain. I'm working out and the water fountain is out of order. Rather than fix the already damaged and run down machines the owner chooses to put new unneeded equipment in and cut corners. I know for a fact one of the trainers who recently quit was unpaid for several personal training sessions and had to ask his clients to pay him directly due to incompetence in management. Not to mention once said trainer left his clients were promised refunds which they are all currently waiting for. Then to make matters worse the owner fired a competent manager and brought in someone who is less equipped to handle the gym. Decent facilities but garbage management. Wouldn't pay dues to tho gym simply out of my principles and knowledge of the inner workings. Fitness19 is higher quality for a cheaper price and doesn't pull shady stuff on employees and members. read more
