Excellent experience came out of a very upsetting drive on Austin's lovely highways that left me with a giant crack in my windshield. Pro Auto Glass first walked me through the slightly more involved process for my Subaru before I selected them as my repair shop. They coordinated everything with my insurance and dealership to get this done right, and kept me informed throughout the process. While I went to them, I saw a bunch of mobile vans so they can come to you too. Driving down 35, something major hit my windshield and created a significant crack (see before image). Crack was approximately 3 inches long, had two spindles coming off of it. I was fully expecting to have to replace my entire windshield, but was recommended to Pro Glass as a first step. Called the office to set up an appointment, they were very helpful with answering my questions, setting up expectations, and also provided next steps if they couldn't fix the crack. Chris came out to my house, inspected the crack, told me what to expect, and got to work. Literally in 15 mins Chris informs me we are all set. I was very happy with the work Chris did (see after image). I couldn't get a decent image of the crack from the inside of my car because the crack had been sealed so well. I have an older accord that the sunroof was hit in the latest hail storm. I worked with sunroof express who provided my sunroof to their recommended shop ProGlass to install. I don't believe ProGlass appreciates this business from my recent experience. For $250 labor they completed my repair in under an hour which was great but when I picked up car there was a razor blade and glass shards from the sunroof repair on the roof. When I asked Shane about the sunroof gasket seal and what looked like a defect he shared that was quite common in his experience. When I asked to see another example he became quite irritated and told me it was not his problem and to call sunroof express. " I just installed what they sent." He was more than happy to charge me labor again to replace. I would expect for $250/hr labor for a sunroof repair on a Honda they would remove the broken glass and razor blade from car roof and maybe even look at the part being installed. This might be just how they treat repair of older cars or maybe this is how they look at sunroof express business. Maybe $250 was just not enough. Not sure... read more

Please read to the end. Based on recommendation from Subaru of Georgetown, I had Pro Auto Glass replace my windshield and coordinate with Subaru of Georgetown which supplied the glass and did the Eyesight system recalibration. The process went smoothly, including coordination with my insurance. Dropped the car off first thing in the morning and got it back by end of day. When I picked it up, there were several women and girls having a good time in the (small) lobby where I had to go for payment. That would normally be great but none were wearing masks. I came to learn that these were family of an employee. With Williamson County having very bad Covid spread at that time, I was livid and proceeded to have a, let's say "spirited", conversation with the owner. He listened to my "spiritedness" but in the end I gathered he wasn't going to change anything. In fact, he said as much. I hope he thought about it further after I left and did make changes. It's really not that hard. Granted, it's not pleasant (no one likes this) but it's something we all need to do our part with. If HEBs, sandwich shops, retailers, etc, can enforce mask wearing in their facilities, then surely this small business can too. I couldn't write this review without that part and probably would not have written any review at all but I wanted to write the next part. As far as the windshield replacement, from what I can tell so far, the job was outstanding. I'm not an expert on windshield replacement but the glass looks great, I've seen no evidence of even any small marks to the trim, I haven't had any air leaks, etc. Next time I need a new windshield, I won't hesitate to come here. Yeah, if Covid is still a thing I'll discuss with them before going, set expectations, and if necessary just do any administrative stuff outside. We'll figure it out. Don't waste your time; Pro Auto Glass are the best, bar none. Do you have a modern car with sensors around the rear-view mirror? Most places will replace the windshield but send you to the dealer to get those recalibrated. Two trips instead of one didn't work for me, so I found out the ProAuto Glass is doing a lot of the glass replacement for the local auto dealers! They were very professional, got this ordered as quickly as COVID would allow, and did a great job on the installation AND on calibrating the sensors. My truck was broken into on 11/4 at work in Round Rock. By 9:30 am on 11/5, Jerry, from Pro Auto Glass was @ my site with my window all replaced with actual Ford glass for only $208. Jerry was courteous and I could not find any fault with his work. I tested the window, shook the door, tried to wiggle the glass, knocked, banged and tested the motor mechanism 3 times. It all just worked and fit like brand new. Glass has very mild factory tint. Because they used factory glass, the tint matched the other window perfectly. (Something I hadn't thought about beforehand.) I reserve the right to edit this review at a later time if things go wrong. I had a small chip in my windshield that I wanted fixed before it spread. They came out to my house in Georgetown and fixed it for $75. Because of the C-19 concern, the tech wore a mask and gloves. I had a great experience with Pro Auto Glass. I had intended to use Safe Lite Repair - because I hear those ads all the time. But, I called Pro Auto Glass because of the reviews on Yelp. I found out it would've been more expensive to use Safe Lite Repair b/c they have hidden charges that are not in your original quote. I have a Lexus 350 that had a 20" crack from being hit by a rock. My total was $396.86 - and no hidden charges. It was just what she told me on the phone. Dusty came out right on time and did a great job fixing my windshield right in my driveway.
