Before lifting my car, the inspection tech double checked to ensure it was ok with my electric car. Very much appreciated as he stopped before causing damage to the battery pack. These guys are rip off artists, rude, and slow. I got a basic oil change with no additional services that they like to try and tack on like changing air filters etc. My car does take an additional quart of oil so there is always a slight up charge for getting more than 5 quarts but the price was ridiculous. It was about $100 and I went with the cheapest oil option they had. The guy pulled out my air filter to show me and try to convince me to replace that as well but after I questioned the exorbitant oil cost he didn't try to push the air filter because I clearly was going to say no. Besides being overcharged they were also rude and slow. I was the only car there and my oil change took 40 minutes. Before starting the service I asked how long I should expect and the guy just snapped at me and said it would take as long as it would take. Both of the employees that I spoke to were rude and demeaning every time we interacted. I went here because I was driving by and it was convenient but there are many shops to get an oil change from on this street and I can guarantee I will never come back to this place. read more

I was in the area & checked the reviews & opted to give this location a chance even with the 2.5 rating. I arrived & there was one car in the two bays & the bay door was wide open but NO one was around. I noted the time 3:28pm & thought guess there's only 1-2 people working & one is under the car working & other in the office??? That's what I assumed. Well after 3minutes & no one in sight since I arrived. I guessed I either had to honk horn or get out of the car. I'm recovering from leg surgery & decided to get half way out of the car & yelled 'Hello??' Well someone replied 'I'll be right with you' & I said 'okay Ty' & sat back in my car. Well another 3 minutes passed without one employee showing themselves or coming to assist me in an establishment where I get to sit in my car & get a 25/30minute quick oil change. I decided how long I'd probably end up waiting if someone eventually did come out to see what I wanted for service. I then decided to look up Valvoline which was 8 minutes away & had 4.0 stars. I showed up at Valvoline & immediately noticed 5/6 people working in the bays on cars & was immediately greeted. I was called into a bay within minutes & done so fast. They are out just to get your money I recently moved to Manchester and I needed to get my car Inspected So I took it to them And they failed my car They were saying my brakes were no good And my car was always kept up in Massachusetts And they said my window tint was too dark so I took care of those issues got my sticker. Then I went back to following time to get another inspaction due to my brakes had a 2 year warranty so decided to go back to them yesterday It once again They said your car is done No problems but Your left wipe a blade is no good and if you don't replace it with us we'll have to fail you And I have a set at home that I just haven't put on yet They didn't care they just wanted the extra 20 bucks for that wiper so I had to buy it And they also charge the most for New Hampshire inspection. First time I've ever written a review for a car service/repair shop. Arrived at 7:55, five minutes before they opened today and was first in line. Went inside when they opened and told them I needed an inspection and oil change. There were several guys there and no one doing anything yet. I was told it was going to be a while because the guy doing inspections was busy writing up a schedule and emailing it to their employees. I sat patiently in my car for 40 Minutes. Another car pulls up for an oil change and they took them right in. I asked them why they were taking them in before me when I had been waiting for 40 minutes. They said it would still be at least another 45 minutes before they could take in my car. I asked if they could at least do the oil change while I was waiting and they said no, they'll do it all at once and then they said we usually don't start inspections until 9am. Finally gave up and left. Not sure how you can run a business line that. read more

Went for an inspection, they said about an hour, no biggie. 2 hours later they moved my car out of the line and into the parking lot and still hadn't touched my car. I was realizing everyone in the wait room was upset because they had been waiting WAY longer than the time estimate they were given. They lied to everyone about the realistic timeframe, I asked for my keys back and just said "be honest and upfront to everyone about a realistic timeframe." I understand they could be understaffed, or something might slow them down, but they were taking too many people and telling everyone a very unrealistic time frame, there were people there waiting a lot longer than I and were told an hour as well. I won't go back to this jiffy lube because everyone's time is important, and transparency would be appreciated so we can plan better, get picked up and dropped off, etc...not be told this will take about an hour and then 5 hours later your day is wasted. I arrived at the facility and was happy to not see any customers in line and three workers waiting. When I told the Assistant Manager (Joshua C.) that I needed an inspection sticker his response was: "Its going to take at least 45m. and possibly over an hour if we get customers coming in". I was surprise by his response since there were no other customers there at the time. I regret deciding to go ahead anyway with the service since Joshua C. stopped the work and attended to other matters through out the over an hour I waited. He even stopped to unload a truck of supplies, even though there were two other representatives there. It is clear that he was resentful that he had to perform this task. He purposely took as much time as he could. In addition, he failed the inspection for three different reasons. I have taken the car to another service provided and the inspection passed. The three reasons were all invalid reasons. Nevertheless this is not the reason of my complaint since I understand these are judgement calls sometimes. But it does seem very suspicious that the other garage did not see any of the three reasons Joshua C. did. Joshua C. is in need of much needed training on customer service as he lacks the minimum qualifications. Jiffylube is licensed and has a contract with the state of NH to provide these services. It is also clear the NH state Inspections are the last priority at Jiffylube. If you don't want to provide the service than don't offer it. I will be contacting the state of NH and report this outrageous occurrence in the hopes that this will not happen in the future to other NH residents. read more

Avoid these scam artists, they get you in the door, promise speedy service then make you wait, then make up a fake story about your rotors flaking on the inside ????? ( I just replaced the rotors) and while my car was on the lift and tires off said I had to pay the inspection fee no matter what and I could return to get the sticker once I did the brake ssomewhere else? I told them ok I would pay the $500 dollars for the brake job, once they got the rotors off, I marched out there and demanded to see the flaking which was not there and go the hell out of there. When you do oil changes and Inspections, doing a full brake job with a small crew is ridiculous. Full brake jobs should be done by a full service garage. Either that or have a multiple lifts and 2 people who know how to do an inspections. read more

My first time coming to this location. Came here to get breaks but didn't need them so I got a oil change and filter and few other things. I'm so thankful for Matthew C. The store manager. He took his time to look over my car and explain things to me. Matt could of just said I needed brakes to get a sale and he didn't. You don't find many people who would do this. I called to make sure they were still doing state inspection stickers for the rest of the day, they reassured me that they were and that it was first come first serve. That I would probably have to wait an hour. I told them that was fine so they told me to come on down. I drive down inform them I just called. I go inside to wait then get told they can't do it. First I was told 10 minutes. 40 minutes later they pulled my car in the bay with 2 others behind me. Then they started to work on the car behind me first! Then they would not accept my coupon. Really dirty low class waiting area with TV blasting and big sign not to touch. There are much better options for oil change in area and I don't understand why anyone would go there. Very strange experience. Came in for an oil change and requested my usual conventional oil. The technician began to argue with me, insisting I use the $124 synthetic oil and telling me my car doesn't take conventional. I explained my car takes conventional oil, per the car manual and per my father who worked closely with cards for years. I've also been getting oil changes for a decade using conventional oil in my car. He backtracked and said that technically I could use conventional if "I don't care about my car". He also said my father was "probably a boomer" which was strange...not sure how that was relevant. When I told him I'd call my father to clarify the oil situation, and he looked nervous and went back inside and said he'd "come back"...eventually I left and went down the road where they put conventional oil into my car per their recommendation. Went in at 230 PM for a state inspection and got told "they couldn't do it" with no other explanation given. When I asked why he said "because they're running out of time". Closing time is 7 PM and I was the only present at that location. Sad they'll get an early start to their weekend at the expense of the customer. read more

Marcus, the assistant manager, greeted me warmly the second I pulled up. He carefully explained what my car needed and was patient in my decision making. There no pressure in doing extra services that I wasn't comfortable with. I have been going to this location for several years and the staff is always kind, respectful and hard working. The wait isn't long, the facility is clean and welcoming, and you can go back to top off your fluids post service. I went in for an oil change and it was quick and easy. They also filled in a crack in my windshield.

I've always gone to Jiffy Lube, then this last time after my oil change it leaked oil like crazy. So I had to get my oil changed before it was due again. They then said that where ever I had taken my car before them had stripped the bolt and the gasket and tried to cover it up by using some locking solvent. I told then I'd always taken my car to them. Which was the truth and they said I was lying and they would never do that. I argued demanding they fix it, which they finally agreed, then still charged me for the oil change. I have a company car, so I don't have to pay for oil changes. I just hand in my card and wait for the car. Last week I went here and walked out with a charge of $74! These guys obviously love seeing a company car come in because they upcharged me $19 for synthetic oil without asking me and $24.99 for a tire rotation (this car doesn't need synthetic oil). So Courteous! Every door I went to touch, including my own car doors, coming and going, was opened for me. I usually go with my car a mess and crap everywhere. No brainer why they can't ever vacuum. This time I cleaned the crap off the floor and seats and they vacuumed my whole car! So nice to have that extra touch. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Great reading selection of current magazines while I waited and even had coffee and tv in the waiting room. I have always taken my car to them for oil changes always fast and efficient no issues. yesterday I came in for standard oil change and filter change. Patrick was working and recommended transmission flush and coolant flush I spoke to him how I had purchased the car in 2016 from dealership and it had always been serviced at Honda prior to purchase and instead of just taking my money recommended that I called Honda first to make sure those things had not been all ready done ..found out coolant had been done but transmission flush never so I returned today to flush transmission and thank god I did it was 4 quarts low !!! Marcus M did the work today flushing the transmission and did a great job ..and I am so thankful for Patrick yesterday telling me it needed to be done and also recommending I call Honda first other wise I would have spent extra money doing the coolant flush..that's a very honest mechanic.. I am so very thankful right now if Patrick hadn't brought it to my attention I probably would have ruined my transmission..as there were no lights on in the car indicating service needed or issues as they turn on for everything else including regular oil changes it was shifting hard and doing this weird sluggish thing then jetting forward when I drove on the highway ..I could instantly feel the difference when I drove away and took it on the highway to test it and guess what no more sluggish then jetting forward..so very grateful for Patrick not only being proactive but an honest mechanic and for Marcus M for doing the work they really saved my transmission. I also like how when I pulled up today and mentioned to the man that came over to my car that I was there yesterday and spoke with Patrick he said I needed a transmission flush he actually went and got Patrick and brought him over to speak with me. I also want to note that they have ALWAYS brought my filters out and showed they to me instead of just saying oh this needs to be changed and doing it they bring it out every time and show me and have even take the time to show me and explain how to tell if it needs to be replaced and tell me you can get another oil change out of this one instead of just selling me one the people I have dealt with there have always been good to me and showed me my brakes filters whatever it is that needed work done. Also they email me reminders when my oil is due to me changed usually along with a $10 off coupon for the service which is nice. The last time I went there it was inspection time they replaced like 3 lights I had out did my brakes for a great price and brakes have been great since and did my inspection all in one sitting and were super fast and I had a coupon they emailed me for $10 off the oil change then 15% of service they accepted so I got a GREAT price ..I noticed reviews saying they don't accept coupons there ..you have to make sure you have the right ones for the Manchester location and read the fine print some say exclude this or that service and just make sure you have the right coupons I have never had them turn my coupons away I don't always use the ones they send sometimes I forget but I have used several there in the past never an issue read more

Beware! You've been warned! 1 star is to many....Brought my vehicle there for basic oil change and tire rotation. One week later, had a flat tire. When I went to change the flat tire, found 4 out of 5 lug nuts where cross threated, resulting in one lug broke off when trying to remove the tire and three lug nuts frozen and could not be removed. I was stuck on the side of the road for over 4hrs before I could get towed to a service shop (NOT a JIFFY LUBE!). This is the second time Jiffy Lube has cross threated lug nuts and one time never tighten the oil plug causing oil to leak all over my car. Will NEVER return to a Jiffy Lube again! This place is VERY underhanded. I am literally about to sue them in small claims court. Very friendly, but they messed up my transmission bad. I went in with a loose co2 sensor and in need of an oil change while visiting NH. Was asked to pay for the sensor under the table so that he could get the sensor cheaper and faster. This service did not go on my receipt. Then they put temporary fluid (dexron 3 I believe) in my transmission despite Honda (who I've called several times after to verify what should have been done) saying they would not recommend that. I also didn't need any work on my transmission but they were able to talk me into doing it (my fault there). I spent over $500 at this location and within 30 min of being on the highway my car began to show significant shifting problems. By the time I got back to RI my transmission was seizing up. My 2001 Honda Civic HX needs CVT fluid or ATF-Z1. They have denied any responsibility and it took nearly 2 weeks for them to contact me directly...oh wait, they NEVER contacted me. I had to go through corporate to get the regional director's cell phone number. They don't pressurize the transmission when they flush it so they MIXED CVT FLUID WITH THEIR FLUID, which can cause significant shifting issues. They are still saying that they are not responsible so I have to sue. And again, they took money from me under the table in a high-pressure tactic, that stole both from me and Jiffy Lube proper. They have since shown me very little respect and have displayed massive amounts of incompetence in dealing with the issue. They claim to have spoken to Honda themselves, but I've spoken to several service specialists as well as a master mechanic at Aamco and the diagnosis is the same. They mixed fluids, they didn't drain and replace the CVT fluid that was in my transmission, and they should have NEVER touched my transmission in the first place. LONG STORY SHORT THIS PLACE IS SKETCHY. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

BEWARE! I went in for an oil change on Saturday. They told me my rear brake pads were worn out. I declined the $269 service. When I checked out, I was again told, "The service manager told me to warn you your brakes are really bad. You need to get them serviced." Again, I declined the service and scheduled an appointment with a reliable mechanic. He said there is a good 10,000 to 15,000 miles left on the rear brake pads. He took all four wheels off to inspect the brakes carefully. Beware of the high pressure sales job to do un-necessary work. I will never go back! read more

Here's a little information people who use this Jiffy Lube need to know: if you've had your differentials serviced at this Jiffy Lube, chances are GREAT the service wasn't done at all... just the drain bolt tamper sealed. Also, if you've had transmission service, there's a better than half chance that all the old transmission fluid wasn't removed before they put new fluid in on top of it. If you've had these services done, especially the differential service, you might want to take it somewhere else and have it checked out. They care mostly about playing on their phones and/or sitting in their cars smoking weed. If you go in and they think you won't buy any extra services, they are going to spend zero time on you and couldn't care less about the quality of their work. If they don't feel like doing brakes or inspections that day, they'll tell you an inspector isn't there (even if he is) or they can't do your brakes (or whatever). Fact of the matter is, they just don't wan to do the work (they hate tune ups). I'll never take another vehicle to Jiffy Lube, ever. They've either screwed up more than they fixed or not wanted to work on it at all. And if you don't give them your email, or they think you're going to give them a bad review, they will put in a bogus email of someone they know will give them a good review. Or they'll just remove your email all together. Beware! Beware! I have found it's better in the long run to take my vehicle to the dealership or a REPUTABLE mechanic. read more
