I went here on a whim 1. Because it was close to work and I desperately needed a manicure in the midst of a busy week 2. The reviews were fair. I called to make an appointment since I was on a lunch break and didn't want to waste time. When I called and they asked if I wanted anyone someone specific, I should have used one of the names repeated in the pictures with good reviews. The man who considered himself "pregnant" did my gel manicure. 1. He was extremely rough! He used a drill to file off the top coat of my manicure. I snatched my hands back repeatedly saying "ouch." He was treating my hands as though I had acrylic on. 2. His filing skills are sub par. Once again he was rough. I asked for a square-round shape and several of them are crooked. 3. His painting skills weren't great either. First I showed him my color, he pulled the number then he opens the color and it doesn't match. I stopped him and said that's not the color I chose. He finds the right one and at the end it ends up all over my cuticles. He also kept having me put my hand back under the uv light until he was done painting the coat on the opposite hand. Of all the places I have been I have never done that, it seemed excessive, and possibly not safe. Long story short, these ratings have to be based off of the satisfied customers that went to the people mentioned in the photos. This is another example of a nail shop to never visit again. As soon as we walked in, we were hit with the intoxicating fumes of cheap products being used. My sister and I both wanted manicures, and was told that the wait would be 5 minutes. After waiting for 20 minutes, was told that it would be another 30 minutes of waiting. And on top of that, the nail tech was "sawing" my sister's nails. As a licensed professional myself, I know doing this would be an easy way to break her nails. So after her nails started to crack on top of the nail beds, they are now offering to "fix" it by doing an acrylic layover. Yes, that's an extra $3 per nail. Needless to say, I did not let them touch my nails. read more

Came in needing two repairs for some well filed, tapered square nails and walked out with bubble nails. I searched online for someone that can do a good job at waxing eyebrows. A lot of people mentioned Ivy at this salon and how she does an amazing job so I decided to try her out. I was not disappointed! I was very satisfied with her work! I don't really have a specific shape that I prefer so I always just tell them to clean them up and they came out looking great :) I definitely recommend her. Downsides are she only takes walk ins, prefers cash (she only charges $11) and may come off as rude (you most likely won't be greeted when you see her or by anyone else in there) but for me it was not an issue as I didn't take it personally. I used to love coming here to get my nails done. At first they did a great job when they did my nails And I was pleased with them. I was going to them over an year. After they started to charge me WAY too much for my nails. They went even as far as charging me $80 for some basic nails that did nothing. The last time I got my nails done here was September I went before heading out to a work trip they WASTED my time making me late to work for some basic nails then I was charged $80 for that it was ridiculous!!!! I have been going to Ivy for eyebrow waxing for years. She used to be so nice. Now she's super rude! (Maybe she's burned out). Every time I go I pay with my debit card. After waiting 30 mins, finally Ivy stormed in the door, walked straight to the back while mumbling something. (I guess she was telling the next person to come back). When I went in the room she seemed pissed. Immediately she said, "Lay down. It's $11 ok?" When she was done I handed her my debit card. She snatched it, then had the nerve to snap and get an attitude saying, "No more debit for waxing! Next time bring cash." (I guess they no longer accept debit for waxing. originally went in for a pedicure. the wait was waaaaayyy too long but im a pretty patient person. I also decided to get a fill since I was already there. The lady did a great job on my pedicure, they feel and look amazing!! And the guy that did my nails did an amazing job as well! Perfect job reshaping my nails, even all around, no bubbles, made sure to color every inch of my nail and even cleaned the bottom of my nails for me. The only service I get here is brow waxing by Ivy and she's rude and bitter. I love her work but her attitude is similar to a cantankerous old bat mad at the world. I've been a client of hers since she worked at Pro nails on Dakota by Manchester, than she moved to Ann's down the way and now she's here. When she was at the other shops she was nicer and seemed happy. Her work is so good I can't find anyone to match up so I such it up deal with her unethical antics and NEVER leave a tip, I'm a believer in tipping good service however she don't meet the qualifications. The rest of the staff is equally as rude, you have the man child who sit in the front who has ZERO customer service skills and talk to people like their stupid, him and the Edna from The Incredibles lookin chick are the main reason I've never gotten a mani or pedi that service is to long to sit amongst those snobs. I came in today after reading such great reviews about Ivy, the eyebrow guru. I decided to come in bright & early to avoid waiting and so that she could work her magic without feeling rushed by a line of people. I walked in minutes after they opened, now I understand it's 9am but that's never an excuse to make your customers feel ignored. As soon as I walked in this lady just stared at me & didn't say anything to me until I opened my mouth. I asked for Ivy and she just rudely pointed me to a room. I peeked into the room and noticed there wasn't anywhere for me to sit so I just waited outside the door (waiting for someone to say something) when finally the same lady who instructed me to go there told me "sit over here" and pointed to a chair by the entrance (really ??) I waited 25 minutes before being seen (mind you I was the only customer present). They claim to be open at 9 but in reality they don't start servicing people until 9:45 because they're setting up (I mean why not come in earlier?). Overall the customer service is terrible but Ivy did live up to her reviews and slayed my eyebrows! read more

I've been going here for about a year and a half after a coworker sent me. I'll start off by saying that Ivy is amazing. I go to her to get my eyebrows waxed and she does a fantastic job every time. I get a ton of compliments on my brows so you know she's good. I have recommended her to so many people and so far everyone I've sent has loved her as well. It's $10, cash only for her. She isn't the most talkative person so she may come off as rude, don't take it personal. I would go early in the morning because she seems to take her time when she isn't being rushed by a long line of people.
