I used to go to Helen all the time for my nails since I was in HS but ever since I moved away from Colton I only come by when I visit. This lady had been rude before but I let it slide because she would still do a good job on the nails. Except when she had more clients and would rush. If she rushed she wouldn't always do her best work. Today she was being rude and she was shoving my hands and pulling them. She seemed upset. It seemed she was upset that I had gotten my nails done elsewhere. When she asked me what color I wanted I tried to explain that I wanted a French tip in the color light pink. She thought I wanted the builder gel to be pink and said "for my customers I do the pink." I'm sure she meant for her regular customers however I wasn't requesting what she thought and even if I was, I am still paying for a service so that seemed odd to me. When she started to fill my nails she was being extremely sloppy and continued to shove and pull my hands so I asked her to charge me for the work she had done so far and I left. She charged me $35 for prepping my nails to fill and ONLY started the fill. She DID NOT FINISH. Granted a set is $45. I was very disappointed and hurt by her attitude and the way she treated me considering I had been a long term customer. I never said I wasn't going to pay her and she threatened with calling the police. If I could give zero stars I would. I am never coming here again. read more

I walked in last minute, looking for a quick yet excellent acrylic set for a Disneyland trip, and Helen immediately saw me and provided the best service--so kind, respectful, and friendly. She's an OG, and I really respect her for that. She finished my nails within 30 minutes, which was the fastest I've ever experienced, especially since I love to do difficult designs. I enjoy challenging my nail tech with something pretty, out of the ordinary, or unique to me. I believe this is a hidden gem that truly deserves praise and attention, especially considering the quality and how quickly she achieved exactly what I wanted--she even improved the set vs the reference photo. read more

I walked in and nobody was there for service, not one customer. Not only was the woman rude, the tips aren't centered, they aren't evenly levelled, several are misshapen and there is product on my cuticles. She also charged me for filing them because I did not want square tips!! So I just paid to be treated badly for a bad job. Can we do a ZERO star? After doing my own tips for the last few years I just wanted to have some time off worrying about them and remembered how pampered I used to feel getting my nails done. DO NOT COME HERE SHE DOES A TERRIBLE JOB I communicated with her from the very beginning what I wanted, as she did my nails I told her I wasn't liking them, she continued to do it how she wanted too and said argued that her work is perfect and has been doing it for 20 years and has many clients that love her work. When she finished I told her to fix them because I was not happy with it so she wanted to charge me $10 more to take off the gel polish. She stopped in the middle of my set to do someone's wax upper lip. This business is just money hungry and does not care about the quality of their work. I went here and the nail technician was rude she would throw my hand once she was done with It. She was rough and she cut several of my fingers with her drill even after they were bleeding she still kept drilling and I had to tell her to stop. My granddaughter paid $40 to have her figers cut while having nails done here. She and her sister werr the last people serviced before closing. The person doing her nails was rough and was on her phone arguing with someone (sister) After work the next day we called and was asked why we didn't call earlier. The person on the phone showed poor customer service, she wanted to argue and tell us come in and she would fix it. HOW do you fix cutting and damaging skin around nails. My granddaughter was not moving around while getting nails done, she is not a child and has nails done regularly. This was caused by someone on the phone arguing and being aggressive. They shake like a leaf, and my pedicure was terrible. So I started requesting a female, any female, just so I wouldn't get him for my pedi. The 2nd time I requested a female Helen seemed irritated by my request and told me to come "next week." So nope. I don't know the woman's name that did my pedicure. But I believe she's the owner. She completely rushed! She did not remove my ingrown nails. She DID NOT EVEN SCRUB MY FEET! She offered callus remover and I declined . I believe over time that product dries out your feet even more! So because I declined I guess that meant she doesn't even scrub my feet.
