I had a previous set on from another nail salon and was hoping for better result. I had John (I think the owner) He ripped them off with a nail tip causing me pain rather than soaking them and still charged to remove the old nails... Then i asked for french tips (painted on) and he used white tips even though i asked him not to, They look cheap and tacky.. but he said they would be "faster" to do yet i was still there for 2 hours. Requested pedi $27 made appt ahead of time Greeted warmly. Wasn't asked to pick a color just encouraged to sit down. This should have been my first clue. Gently upsale to deluxe pedi for callous heels $45 . A friend recommended them and I hoped to find a new regular place. Then asked to pick color from Gel card - asked if they had regular color -reply gel is better ( like they didn't have regular polish as none seen when entering). When I went pay was told $60. Asked why and they said you choose gel. Not forthcoming and felt misled by staff. Will return to previous place a few more miles away as they treated me respectfully and didn't mislead me in price. read more

Wow! I have gone to SO many local salons and have never been satisfied. Nail lengths have never matched up, hangnails were never picked, I've gotten cut, etc. This was the first time I felt like I was being treated as a real person and time wasn't an issue. Mary did my nails and she spent so much time with me and was so friendly and sweet! I told her what I wanted and I got more and better! I went in to get a pedicure. I chose the $37 pedicure. Somehow, by the time I left, my pedicure was up to $60. I'm not sure how this happened. I must've agreed to it at some point during the pedicure. But I feel like I was taken advantage of. I won't be getting anymore pedicures if they are this expensive. read more

Still my favorite nail salon in Hagerstown! Always professional and friendly. They do a great job!! Pro Nails does an excellent job on your nails, pedicures and waxing. They have different levels of pedicure you can choose from. They start at $25 and up. It does get expensive, but you do get what you pay for. My pedicure always lasts a long time. Last Saturday, after a long day of work and driving, decided to stop by and get a mani/pedi done. I didn't make an appnt as they welcomed walk-ins. I walk in and a guy asked me what I wanted and told him a mani/pedi. He tells me to sit down as someone will be with you. A lady helped me out and 10 minutes into the process, she receives a call from previous customer complaining about their nails. This customer comes in and the lady decides to take care of her instead. Here I am sitting next to that customer waiting with my nails all jacked up. The lady says she is going to fix her "1" fingernail that the customer is complaining about. Well it was not just "1" fingernail, it was the whole ten fingernails. So I was upset why the lady didn't ask the customer to wait since I was in the middle of getting my mani done. Then the owner decides to be noisy and was absolutely very unprofessional, mean, rude, and disrespectful to me and raising her voice at me and stated that I didn't have an appnt so I was not considered a customer. I was honestly very shocked how she treated me in front of the whole other customers that were there. The owner repeatedly and continuously would not stop harassing me in front of other customers. I will NEVER enter that place as long as I am alive. What a shit show!!!! That is why people had negative reviews and rated it low. I hope you never treat a paying customer so poorly as you treated me. read more

I am from South Carolina and decided for my birthday to get my nail and pedicure there will visiting. The young guy doing my nails was quit entertaining but sucked at nails. I asked for an ombre, which I got but they all starting falling off within two days. I spent 110.00 and for what???. Called on Monday and was told that there was nothing they could do. I had this nail salon recommended to me and just got my nails done today. Needless to say, I am NOT impressed. Overall, the establishment is clean and they are friendly. As far as my nails go, they were horrible. I got a full gel set and a regular pedicure. The pedicure was okay. I waited 30 minutes to be seen. Asked for a simple design of horizontal lines on my big toe and instead got half of my toe nail painted. Not what I asked for at all. My nails were sloppy. Clear coat hardened all around the skin on my nails. I asked for the same simple design on my ring finger and yet again got half of my nail painted. I mean, really? I didn't ask for any hard crazy design. 3 or 4 lines on one nail isn't too much to ask for. All of this cost $65 and I was very displeased. I will NOT be going back. read more

This place is the quickest I've ever been in and out for a fill-in! Henry was very kind and thorough with his work. He gave me the exact shape I was looking for. The fill wasn't too thick and he didn't leave a bunch of polish all over my nails. Minus one star because I didn't get the design I initially asked for and they didn't seem very warm and friendly when I first walked in. They also have a tiny dog that walks around that I almost kicked because I didn't see him! read more

Very disappointed in my dip polish. This is my 1st experience with the service and the salon. The nail tech didnt appear to know what she was doing and asked other techs several questions. I chose a medium mauve polish and ended up with a blood red color! Horrible! The nails are not smooth or shiny, either, look rough and like an old service only hours after being done. It is a rare treat that I get to go to a nail salon and a huge disappointment to leave with these ugly red, rough nails. And had no idea that the basic manicure would be $40 with the dip. I have been going to this salon for over 10 years , have always had great service. Would highly recommend this place to every one. Have experienced the comings and goings of technicians there. Some times family doesn't always get along, but we do not know the full story. I go to Mary now and I just love her. Very polite, love her since of humor, and she does great work. I heard Mary from pro nails was very good so I made an appointment with her for acrylics WEEKS in advance from the wedding I was going to. I show up to get my nails done on my appointment date and Mary isn't even there and they don't give me an explanation and never called to reschedule my appointment. The man who did my nails did a TERRIBLE job, he rushed through it, wouldn't give me time to choose my color, didn't shape them or ask me how long I wanted them. When I looked at my nails the dip powder was lumpy and my natural nail and acrylics were already starting to come apart. When I tried to speak up and tell him what was wrong he insisted they looked good but still 'tried' to fix them. To fix them from falling off he just put more glue under my nail which glued my skin and nail together! When I told him I wanted a refund he said he could not do it but I could come in a few days later to talk to the owner. When I came back in to talk with them Mary was there and repolished and shaped my nails. The shape was a little better but she switched from the dip powder to gel without asking. They're better than before but still bad! The polish is not even and not what I asked for! She offered 20% off my next service but I will not be going back! read more
