when we first walked in they was every rushy kept coming and asking what color . when we got back in the chair they was every rude and kept giving mean looks to us and talking about us . I stopped in here in need of a gel manicure and Tiffany took care of my nails. She was so nice and did a great job! The salon appears very clean and nicely decorated. if i could give this a zero. i would. absolutely terrible service. when i went in i was going to get a full set. she had 2 women in the lobby and one she was handling at that time. she screamed and said "7:30 come back at 7:30". while there was another woman sitting behind the desk eating. i arrived there at 5:00. so i was very confused. later i come back and she's empty. so i go in, ask for a full french set and that would be it. immediately i notice all the tools were all scattered on her desk and finger nail dust all over the table. i don't think much of it until i noticed she was using a dirty drill bit on my bare finger nail. the drill bit was completely white and brown markings of it from where it hasn't been used. so i'm freaking out in my mind. later she starts the acrylic and my right thumb started burning after she had let it sit to dry. i'm in excruciating pain in this moment but i didn't budge to say anything to her. it felt like someone was drilling a nail into my NAIL!! moments after this experience i notice that she had cut my finger with the drill. how do you cut my finger with the drill while your only supposed to be on my nail with it. anyways. the acrylic wasn't good either. it's only been a week and i see lifting. the nails were not smooth and were bumpy as hell. there was acrylic on my cuticles and everything. horrible disaster. will never be going back and will be talking about this to every woman i know that gets their nails done. read more

Came here because I needed a quick fill on my.lunch break and didn't have time to drive to frederick where I usually go. Big mistake!! Not sanitary at all. The lady made 3 of my nails bleed. My nails are not even and most of them she didn't even paint all the way so I had to say something and I missed one when I was in there so one finger has no paint on one side. She didn't talk almost the entire time and acted like she was in a big rush. I do not recommend this place at all and I will never go again. I will make the trip to my usual salon pearl nails in Frederick which I highly recommend. read more

Cut my cubicles up, and made my finger bleed. Felt very rushed doing gel fake nails. Only put under the lamp twice. When I get gel done I usually put it under the lamp at least 5 times. Made much longer than I asked for and had to spend two hours filing them down when I got home. I called to ask if they could touch it up the next day after seeing how poorly done they were and was told it would cost another $30 to do that after spending $70 the day before. Total rip off and fairly rude. read more

I went here with my friend and requested purple nail polish. I walked out with pink. I suppose I could have said something about it but the lady doing my nails was already in such a mood I didn't want any more attitude. I was under the UV light for probably 20 minutes or more and my nails still were not dry. Dispite this, I went back on my own about a year later. Who knew that customer service could get this bad! It was literally the most unwelcoming and rude environment I had ever been in. Not what you want when you're running a business. I was new at getting my nails done. It was the second time getting a full set (acrylic) and I walked in and asked, "Could I get an acrylic manicure?" There was one woman in the shop with one customer and mid-filling, the nail tech practically threw up her hands and said, "You mean a full set." She said this as if I was stupid and not a paying customer. I do not personally care if I was incorrect in my word usage, however she clearly understood what it was I was looking for. Then proceeded to tell me that it would be a 30 minute wait. One customer in the entire store! There were at least 5 other chairs open. Anyways, the lady asked if I would like to wait there or come back. I said I would come back and took my business to Nail First which was a lovely 30 second walk where I was much more happy to be. Side note: $5 extra for nail shapes is not good business, its a scam read more

My nails look good. Under is a different story. Put my cuticles. She seemed rushed when my mom an I were the only ones there. The women who did my moms nails did a horrible job. Didn't paint all of her nail. I got my eyebrows done as well. She was rushed & wasn't bothered to do a decent job. Very disappointed. Waited 30 minutes for her to "prep" the room. The pedicure with the owner was ok, but it was expensive and she really tried hard to sell add ons and products ($10.00 for heel crack repair cream and she forgot to put it on one of my feet!). The was a lot of pressure to buy things and it was not relaxing. The pedicure ended up being 40.00. read more

I started going here and gave it one last chance (3rd visit) and I will not be going back. The last time they "forgot" about me and left me waiting while they worked on the 2 other people I was with and I finally asked. They said Oh I thought you wanted a manicure?? (ok if I did how much longer was I going to wait for that?). Total time about 3 hours for all 3 of us We went back again Saturday and the lady left the water running and it overflowed while she was working on my friend next to me. I didn't notice because I was reading while waiting for my pedicure. The other lady came back and had a fit, the 2 of them furiously cleaned up the water and were blaming me because I didn't notice! After that it smelled like a dirty mop. I asked the girl if she could take me next and she yells at me "can you wait?" We had a plan on which one would go first and last but they didn't care went in the opposite order! The girl asked my friend which pedicure she wanted and I said I think I'll try #3. The girl that did me didn't even ask so I didn't get the one i wanted. Total time again 2.5 hours. They do a good job and the prices are good but It aint worth the wait. If it's really going to be 1 hour before they can start on me why can't they tell me that when I sign in? I would go do something else rather than sit there waiting. BEWARE UNLICENSED!! I had heard good things about this shop, soon found out that was wrong!! I went in for a pedicure and I had a young girl work on me. She seemed very inexperienced come to find out she was 16!! I did some research and in the state of Maryland you have to be 17 and graduated to even have a license to work on paying customers.
